I think these two things are separate. Yes, build up the younger generation. It's needed. Marlena (unfortunately) will not live forever. But if you have a Roman that's still on screen make it the right one.

I will openly admit to missing Guza a lot, but there was a lot of misogyny and repetitive stories. How many times did we have to see a different version of Clink Boom? He did know how to make the show sweeps exciting at least.

So Wayne is younger lol. Awesome. Pay him a few bucks and bring him back.

I thought JMB did well with family and most of her non romantic costars. I didn't think she and BB had much chemistry, but the pairing was so hyped it probably turned me off. I really can't quite remember how I felt about her and Duhon. I think I was indifferent.

It's not like Josh Taylor looks young and spry lol. I get your point though. I think Wayne looked quite a bit older than Drake for a long time, but now, not so much. I think Roman is supposed to be older than Marlena. I believe Marlena is closer to Kim's age. Younger than Roman, but older than Kayla/Bo.

Yeah, it's a shame because I think Lindze could have made Georgie into a Robin-like heroine. She was a bit more "plain" and not a "hot" as JMB/KS back then (I think she's gorgeous personally though). She was much more relatable. JMB is such a cold actress. I don't remember her and Duhon together much. I just can't believe Duhon got blacklisted from daytime for his antics lol. I don't think he's worked since anywhere.

Guza was very fascinated with young JMB. You are right everyone-including Spinelli!-was in love with Lulu for years and JMB had chemistry with absolutely no one lol. Until DZ/Dante came along. I would say Guza pulling Dillon away from Georgie was a bit of misogynistic hatred for the fact that LL didn't look like a typical teen/young adult heroine. And then Guza just decided to kill her off even though Georgie/Dillon could have been the next young supercouple. I think the show does need Dillon. I have no hopes of SC coming back, but the show could find someone better than Watkins. Dillon's quirky and dorky. Not Michael 2.0

Nor do I. It's just frustrating to see a great character reduced to running the Pub and missing crucial evidence about Gabi's disappearance. You can also feel Deidre's indifference toward Josh, and while I don't like actors actively working against story, she's Deidre Hall. At least with Wayne they would be believable exes with chemistry.

Roman is such a crucial character to me. He started the Brady's being a thing on Days. I get that Roman's role is redundant with John, but I will always hope Wayne reappears. He's too important to be wasted away with whatever Josh Taylor has been doing for decades. WN's Roman doesn't have to be paired with Marlena. There are other options currently on canvas for him even outside of Kate.

The entire audience would love it. Outside a few John/Marlena stans. If Roman has to exist on canvas at least make it the OG awesome Roman. I could realistically see WN's Roman working well with LK's Kate too.

Hopefully living his best life with Lynn Herring far away from this lame show lol. I am not going to lie, my #1 Days wish would be to get Wayne back as Roman before this show gets cancelled though.

Dillon is such a better character for SC. Like you said, it would never happen or even be a smart move for SC. GH would never make Dillon front burner like B&B uses Liam. I would honestly add Dillon (recast or whatever) and dump Michael for awhile too.

Meh. I think Chad Duell was cute when he was younger but now he's just a decent looking dad. He isn't as attractive as he was in his 20's, which I get. Neither am I lol. I just think Clifton gives some effort while Chad gives no effort at all. That makes him more unappealing than the writing for his character. CD always looks bored.

To be fair, Roman was a cop for years. It makes sense in theory. Josh Taylor just doesn't make sense as Roman or a competent cop. But here we are like 30 years later and he's still employed.

And again I'd argue kidnapping Sami was a public service, not a crime.

I am pretty sure I have heard the show refer to Black Patch as a Detective Agency before. I think Private Investigator and Private Detective are pretty similar.

I don't think LH is wearing extensions. That's just her good hair. The show would not go out of it's way to do a timely hair process for a temp. Just saying.

I get everyone's dissatisfaction with Tracy reverting back to the unlikable, bitchy Q again. She is still the smartest person in the room though. She knows Sonny's game and everyone else is 🤷‍♀️ about it. The scenes with Cody and the Scorpio brood were uncalled for, but I can imagine being very frustrated about the Deception meeting. No one was listening to her. She just took it out on the wrong people.

I mean, that's natural. Stephanie is an adult woman. I spend more time with my significant other than my parents. Stephanie even moved in with Stayla on and off. I never considered her isolated-just in a stupid story. Agree to disagree. The lack of Johnson family scenes had no affect on the stupid Chad/Stephanie/Alex story. Stephanie could probably use a few more friends more than she needs to sit at the Pub and talk to Kayla about her love life for the 100th time.

I am pretty sure she told Willow she saw it. But again, when Willow and Sasha come on screen I generally fall asleep with my eyes open so I could be wrong. Had to edit because I thought you asked if Sasha told anyone else besides Willow. Apparently I fall asleep with my eyes open when reading about Sasha too😂

IKR? Probably makes Lulu want to fall deeper into her coma after listening to Willow. Can't Willow talk to someone about this? I am sure Sasha would listen to her at least.

Yeah it's weird. None of their kids have been on the canvas consecutively long enough to amass the large amount of offspring and grandkids John/Marlena have. Even Bo/Hope and Jack/Jen have grandkids though. I also think the fact Patch/Kayla were gone so long off the show it stunted their importance. If MBE and SN stayed in the 90's S/K probably would have had more kids earlier and Stephanie would have been aged sooner. Belle and Brady are both younger than Stephanie by actual birth year on the show. I don't want to be a downer because I don't hate Kayla/Steve, but none of the stories they've had since their return in the 2000's have been very good or memorable. I think the couple sort of missed their window of importance. I am not advocating for them to leave or anything, but they feel very second tier to me compared to Bo/Hope or John/Marlena.
