I drank so much last night after the news about Biden that I ended up oversleeping this morning. My boss called me and I had to act like I was in the middle of editing a document when answering the phone at 10. Thankfully she believed me. But I am so cooked I'm barely surviving. I have to drink some yogurt and get it together.

Everything aside, my heart still breaks that Joe was pushed to do this. Just couple of days ago he was telling all of us that only God himself could make him do this. I think it's perfectly human and normal to feel devastated after someone you believed to be the right choice is now GONE. I am not ready to start shouting anyone else's name yet. Just not now. I am not that fast, I can't process and move on so quickly. I may be tomorrow, or next week, but not tonight. Tonight, I want to mourn the missed opportunity and the dreams that President Biden made me believe he can achieve. I hope we can all respect each-other's way of processing this. I... really in my deepest of hearts believed him when he said that only God could make him turn away. And maybe God did, who knows.
