Not exactly! They are all separate tracks on the second CD, but they all bleed into each other. In the notes, it says they did it that way to make you feel as though it was a continuous story. Late March/Early April? Are you international or something? You'll love "Innocence" if you were looking forward to Reilly I era cues. They used to play that alot. The scene I most remember hearing that cue is the moment where Bo tells Hope that Marlena and Stefano are presumed dead(it was the same episode where Sami gets caught for the first time at the Kiriakis Mansion, before she and Austin are set to leave on a cruise). Also, there are a ton of pictures of the cast in scenes. I think you'll be pleased. It seems like they avoided alot of the cheese, at least in the first CD. Some of the stuff I'd never even heard before, but that was easy for the ears. I was still disappointed and underwhelmed.

So Sindacco: Did you get the CD? I ordered it at a local record shop yesterday(got it for five dollars cheaper there than at Amazon AND I feel great about supporting a local business!). I listened to it last night and the first CD wasn't all that bad, but I wasn't really impressed. It sounded like cues that they may have used once or not at all. Most of the tracks on the first CD were way better than the typical crap they play in the scenes, but I really wanted this to be far more nostalgic for me than what it was. There was only one Reilly 1.0 era cue that I recognized("Innocence"). And that was actually a cue I enjoyed. I am pretty sure all the others were 2000's era. Which is sad, because other than maybe a few people, no one really gave a crap about DAYS all last decade. And the second CD had each track flowing into one another. If I actually cared about ANY of those storylines or thought any of the music was worth a damn, I'd be upset because of that. Each track should have been separated from the other. And could they not be bothered to do a collection of music from The Possession storyline? I'm pretty sure that wasn't Marty Davich. As cheesy as that music was, it's a storyline people remember and recognize and would easily be able to identify. It's a good collectors item for film students without a composer and those typical diehard DAYS-ers that will buy anything with the show's logo on it. But I was, as I predicted, left underwhelmed. Hopefully, the purchases will warrant La La Land to reach out to other soaps to release their scores as well.

Easy...NEVER. There is a CD release of the closing theme from 1998(?). That, IMO, is way better than that crappy non-synthed version. I can do without the haunting piano bridge.

So, apparently, the track listing has been released for the DAYS soundtrack. Holding out hope that it will be a good one, but it doesn't look promising. Most, if not all, of this stuff looks very 2000's to me. http://www.amazon.com/Days-Our-Lives-Ken-Corday/dp/tracks/B002ZXZJE2/ref=dp_tracks_all_1#disc_1 Disc: 1 1. He may not own the rights to any of the music he composed for those shows, which is why he left it off the resume. I love how he will claim Trinity, some one season disaster, over his long lasting work on GH(that was just as good as anything in primetime).

What Are You Listening To?
The Designer Drugs remix of Anthonio rocks. And I loved "Sweet" from the original cut of the album. Was so sad when it didn't make the final cut of the album, but glad it's on her two disc release. I'm jealous that you've had the pleasure of seeing her twice. She has to do another North American tour.

What Are You Listening To?
I had no idea she did a two disc release of the new CD. I assume the extras on the two diac are songs that she recorded for the Island records cut that didn't make the final cut for the independent label release? I have the Island version of Don't Stop too. I love I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me.

Annie is the sh!t. I'm a major stan. She was also profiled in The New Yorker recently as well. Definitely check out both Anniemal and Don't Stop(where Songs Remind Me of You is from) if you haven't.

Exactly. And I understand that Jennifer Hammon quit, but they could have kept Michael Dietz and moved him to another pairing. And if they wanted to make Joe edgy, they should have trusted that Dietz could do that.

Port Charles Discussion Thread
The show was REALLY good when Karen Harris was HW. Don't believe the haters who say otherwise. I remember coming home from school and being engaged in what the doctors were doing. I watched PC when it first began, but when things started to shift from the Hospital when Lethal was Head Writer, I quickly lost interest. You also have to keep in mind my only regular soap viewing experience was NBC Daytime and I wrote them off after they canned Sunset Beach. I was astounded to watch a daytime soap where characters actually worked and not only explored their personal lives, but professional ones as well. Karen Harris did a pitch perfect balance of this. The only time I have ever been able to stomach Thorsten Kaye was when Ian was initially introduced as this renegade doctor and we got to see his compassion for the homeless. He was hotheaded, but nothing like the boring pig he became. I assume Harris was really instrumental in developing that character. Early Eve was trampy and fun. Her relationship with Scott was great fun too. Pinson and Kin Shriner had great chemistry together. Frank stalking Karen and stealing her panties, DL-56 or not, was just wrong. And making Joe into some psycho. And LML(no way in hell could this have been Wendy Riche, or at least I would hope not) hiring David Gail as Joe Scanlon was [!@#$%^&*]. Michael Dietz was great as "good guy" Joe and they replace him with some roided hothead. There's no way I could feel sorry for Joe when he was exposed to HIV(via Nurse Jill) because Gail made Joe such an arrogant pig. And speaking of...I loved that story! My favorite moment was when Courtney had eavesdropped on a conversation at the hospital that Joe may have HIV. And Courtney made a big deal about it and hunted Mary Scanlon down(who, wisely, they molded into a conservative, closeminded, judgmental woman) and then two of them ended up asking Frank. Pat Crowley played it to perfection. Mary: "Does your brother have it?" Frank: "What are you talking about?" Mary: "H. EYE. VEEEE!" The reactions most of these characters had to everything were so real. And while we're on Courtney, I loved Sarah Aldrich. It's a shame PC dumped her during these stupid arc stories and that she never found another daytime gig. She wasn't THE BEST actress on the globe, but I felt like the writers played to her strengths and she ran with the ball. Courtney was always trying to do some get rich quick scheme or plan parties for Amanda Barrington. My favorite moment from Courtney is her reaction to Sonny Corinthos whenever Mo Benard crossed over to figure out why Frank got shot at the Recovery Room. He tries to introduce himself and Courtney steps back and says, "I know who you are." And when Frank tells Courtney that Sonny paid off all his gambling debt, Courtney says, "Please, don't tell me he knows where we live." LOL. Hell, all Sonny Haters should watch those two episodes PC featured him in. Most people feared him and/or recognized him for the scum that he was. I was devastated when they demoted Karen Harris. F*ck Angie Shapiro and Felicia Minei Behr for doing that sh!t to my show.

Maybe to you. I hated they way they threw Jamal under the bus for Rafe and Alison. It was pathetic and I hated every flipping second of it. And then they threw Jack and Alison together...really?! I was relieved when they ended with a cliffhanger. Yeah, Alison and Rafe got their happy ending, but in my continuation, she gave birth to Caleb's vampire baby. I hated Caleb/Michael Easton, but I'd take him anyday over Rafe. -Audrey testified on behalf of Joe Scanlon, because he almost got kicked out of the program for performing brain surgery on Audrey with a drill. -During the Nurses Strike, she walked out with Mary Scanlon and all the dayplayer nurses. BTW, I miss Deniece, Katie, and Hector. And Raj too! LOL. I also recall they made crossover appearances on GH too. Heroine Eve was boring as hell. Typical Lynn Lethal...take the bad girl and turn her into a Giggly Heffa. And Toups is so right. They should have never fired Karen Harris for trash like Brown/Esenten. PC had so much heart and character during her short tenure. I'll never forgive Angela Shapiro(and especially Felicia Behr for saying PC was "leaning on GH too much." So the solution is to turn it into a crappy Anne Rice ripoff?) for that.

Thanks for the update Sindacco. I am not getting too excited. I really hope some of the couple themes from the 90's are on this CD(i.e. Carrie/Austin, Bo/Hope, etc.). I could also go for some Possession cues too. But that would be asking too much. I'm heavily considering a pre-order of this anyway.

I still love Claudia's "death" montage theme, "The Host of Seraphim" by Dead Can Dance. Some of it is because of Toups saying he laughed throughout the montage, calling it "overproduced." True, but then again, what montage isn't overproduced? That's why it's a montage. LOL. Enjoy the full track, which has a lot less howling towards the middle of the track.

I love the French and Italian themes for B&B. Especially the Italian one. So 80's. It really suits the show. ETA: The only thing I'd change about the new main titles for the Italian titles is getting rid of that dreadful logo and replacing it with the old one. That huge red "B" is such a turnoff.

I can't think of any soap on the globe that looks/feels more dated than DAYS. In every area of production. While B&B definitely has its flaws, it's definitely not as 80's as DAYS.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
I read he works as Superintendent, Principal, or a Teacher in the New York area. That's exactly why I was so drawn to the character. She wasn't some one-note psycho bitch. She was a character who had a long, complex backstory and the show, despite her malicious ways, never allowed us to see her as an extreme villainess or as a victim. I don't think the writing was misogynistic for any of the EDGE female characters. I think they drew on alot of gender issues(Raven being seen as an equal to her male counterparts, Raven taunting sexless Deborah Saxon about her career as a cop), but this was never done in a way where you could tell the writer had utter contempt for women. The characters on that show were so smart and clever. Even when Raven is backed into a corner after she loses custody of Jamey, she doesn't give up. And April wasn't some dumb good girl who always let people steamroll over her. Even when Raven begs her to take care of Jamey, April clearly tells Raven she's doing this for Logan. And not for her. She never really trusted Raven and Raven never pretended to like her. The writing on this show was so honest and it never talked down to the audience. I'm glad I got to see even a little bit of EDGE to truly appreciate how great this show was.

So I was right! It was Molly! I knew that bitch was sniffing around. She ended up killing Raven's mom, Nadine too. When she came over to watch Jamey and she returned and they were setting it up to make Raven look like she did it, I knew Molly drugged her. What made Molly go off the deep end? Wasn't she related in some way to Emily Michaels? I saw those clips on AOL(of Cliff finding Raven's letter in the magazine) and those were funny as hell. I loved the guy who played Cliff Nelson. He was a character that had his dumb, humorous moments, but not the way they write characters now(i.e. Spinelli). And on a shallow note, it didn't hurt that Ernie Townsend was sexy as hell. *SIGH* And of course, I'm in love with Raven.
