Does anyone know of the actual stories for Lahoma, Sam and Missy from AW?

According to Joan Copeland's IMDb page, she was on into 1972 but had become more sympathetic towards the end. I think they should have done more things with her.

That story sounds so fun! I would love to see Andrea's on the stand confession. I guess that's what they mean by flashbacks being expensive as they have to re-pay everyone involved in the scene. Thanks guys for the help!

Thanks, Carl I found that. I definitely agree. I love saynotoursoap's detailed explanations on SEARCH!
Does anyone know anything about the Andrea Whiting story? is she who blamed Sam for the death of her son and he stood trial? Does anyone know what year that aired and how Jo was involved?

Does anyone know any stories from the late 60s with Vanessa? I can't seem to find any stories from that time period with her.

Thanks Paul Raven! That story really seems insane. Especially the part with the hippies. Poor Jo was always getting kidnapped, I always thought that was more of an 80s plot twist for soaps.
And didn't Mary Vincente try to off Jo too?

Did anyone here watch in OLTL's earlier years? I would love to hear some memories of the good old days. I would love for Meredith to make an appearance and Ed, Carla, Larry and Wanda to return. I didn't even watch then but the first decade is just so intriguing to me.

Does anyone know anything about the whole story with Sam's return? I read somewhere that he got some crazy jungle virus, went insane and held Jo hostage. He died soon after and she stood trial for his murder. Also somewhere in that time period there was another hostage crises and Jo was blind and it was in the woods and she was looking for Sam, who had been shot. This all led to her and Tony marrying.

Thanks for that wonderfully detailed summary saynotoursoap! It seems Andrea did stay scheming for longer than I thought. Soaps were so much more creative back then. The thouht of Andrea lying about her overdose being accidental would never happen on a soap today.
