    Wonderful reunion- very pleasant interviews.

Was looking for some holiday decor in the actors homes but didn't see any.

I had forgotten that Roy Poole (later Neil MacCurtain)  was up for the role of Johnny until  Ilene said she was sure Roy was going to get the part of Da

In an old James Wlcek  (Ben) blog radio interview, he had said that he had been involved with Catherine Larson (Lizzie)  off camera (and involved with Maria Pitllio [Nancy Don], too, - also said he would never get involved with a co-star ever again after those two)

John Gabriel (Seneca) telling Geoff Pieson that he was hired to save the ratings - boy, not much pressure there

Speaking of saving the show -

Looking at an old March 26, 1983 issue of Soap Opera Digest, it printed there was a rumor Ryan's Hope might be cancelled to make room for the new Agnes Nixon-Douglas Marland soap.

JW also was living with his GF too lol

KT was HORRIBLE as Mary, I liked Carney!

I thought it was always known Jill was adopted

Wasn't there a dropped storyline that included Ivan Kipling and a group of teenagers?  I remember Jon Hensley was part of that group, and also one or two of the McNeil sisters.   Although I was never a fan of Ivan Kipling (OLTL did not need its own version of Stefano Dimera), I was sort of into this storyline.  Then, if I'm not mistaken,  it was dropped with absolutely no explanation or wrap-up.

That Kipling story involved, Cassie, Rob, Joy, Dan, and random chick I don't member lol, and Jon Hensley

I don't recall Brad and Delilah ever dating or having sex, just good friends!

I didn't realize Lynne Thigpen appeared on the show twice as two different characters.

We've seen reunions with Erica and her men a few different times (2x on Oprah).  Wouldn't it be great to have a reunion with Erica and all her female rivals?  I would book La Lucci, Julia Barr, Kate Collins, Genie Francis, Susan Pratt, Eva La Rue, and Karen Lynn Gorney.

I would add Deborah Goodrich (Silver) too!

I know I'm in a losing battle with this subject, but I think it's possible to think Gizelle is lying while thinking KAren has no story without Gizelle. Karen knows that. That's why she's keeping the pressure on Gizelle. That's why she always go after Gizelle at the reunions because she knows she has to keep it up. Karen (at least the last two seasons) has depended on other people for her story. Do people care about the alleged problems in her marriage? Comes across as so fake.  KAren has always gone after Gizelle, and while she might have good reason, I just find it tedious. Gizelle will reveal herself; Karen the hall monitor can take a breather. OF course, Gizelle is a pot stirrer, but if these women are so damn dumb (which is really what Karen is saying) that they can be so easily manipulated, how is it Gizelle's fault?? They've seen the show--they know what she does.

RHOM: @Cat I agree that's probably why Bravo chose the white women on the show, but I would also say that I think Lea was the favorite of the housewives. I think the major problem was that many of the women were lying about stuff behind the scenes. Ana was lying about her drinking. Adrianna was lying about nearly everything. Karent was hiding stuff as were Lisa and Joanna (especially about Roman). Marisol became a thirsty nutjob, and losing Mama Elsa was a huge blow to the show. Alexia was hiding her son's horrible criminal behavior. While I think season three was quite good (better than most seasons of current shows), I just think the toxicity got way too much for people. I think the Lea/Adrianna stuff was stronger than the contrived Joanna/Adrianna feud. There were real stakes there, but I also think finding out Adrianna was a liar also did some damage to the show.

I agree, Karen could be right bout Gizelle and still be a big hypocrite at the same time!  And Karen reminded all the girls during the 1st season ALL THE TIME of her title re Potomac, and used it to bash the other woman, so go ahead Wendy with your 4 degrees!

I watched in '81 too.  And yes, they really screwed-up a lot of history with Steve's return.  When neither the writers nor the actors know the history of a storyline, it's difficult to get it right.  Paul Rauch and Vicky Wyndham would have known the details, but both had probably thrown-up their hands in exhaustion by that time.

Theresa was Carol Lamont's mother and a socialite friend of Iris from back east.  Theresa was diagnosed with a terminal illness while visiting Iris in Bay City, and died on the patio of Iris's mansion.

So Theresa and Carol died the same month?  WOW

Of course he wasn't.  My post explained that Mac was far wealthier, and we don't even know if Mac was the richest man in Bay City. Mac was just the richest man on the show.  Steve owned a construction company.  Mac owned a world-wide publishing conglamorate.   That had been established years earlier on the show.  No need to argue about it.

Blaine was far better as a villainess. And Malone was better at playing her that way.  After Blaine became a heroine, Malone seemed to struggle finding motivation for the character, and Blaine became too saccharine sweet.  Artificial.

He actually was, wasn't arguing, as someone who watched when Steve aka Mr Black returned from the dead  in 81 , I know he was more then just the owner of Frame Construction at that time, we will agree to disagree!

    Who is Theresa?

  7. Blaine was dull af as soon as she married Sandy, Cecile and Sally moved to the forefront, as well as the younger set and Felicia!

Who was writing this crap?  Steve Frame was never as wealthy as Mac Cory -- not even close.  Now they're saying Steve is the richest man in town.   Good grief!

At that time Return From The Dead Steven Frame was  the Richest Man in BC!
