  1. I knew about Julie's demise but I had no idea that it would happen in this episode…well, her fall down the stairs anyway. The episode had me on the edge of my seat throughout and the following episode as well done, too, especially with the music as Greta stored her stolen goods in the closet. I loved the look on Julie's face as she taunted Rico and she relished in the fact that she was going to destroy his life. Yes, I was on the edge of my seat too. At first I thought Rico was going to give in and kiss Julie, but when he left and she started up the stairs,I figured something bad was going happen when she saw Greta with her collection. You are so right about the music. It really makes the scene. That's what's missing from today's soaps. The only daytime soap that I bother to watch sometimes is TBATB and they play muzak in the background. The scenes are nowhere as compelling as these. Julie's sinister smile after she further tore her dress chilled me. Clearly, she was going to make life hell for Rico. I'll miss her stirring up trouble at Hope Memorial. Ginger Gerlach was pretty memorable in that role. Yes, Ginger did a great job. I read that a year later she died of a drug overdose. How tragic. Here is the episode where Julie Forrest dies. Her death sort of came out of nowhere. https://youtu.be/igtqaucfDCM

  3. I love it when Retro TV slacks off and leaves in the bumpers and first commercial.
  4. LOL! I hear you!!
  5. I was excited I got to see the showdown between Julie Forrest and Rico Bellini before Julie's demise. Here is the full episode to enjoy! Julie antagonizes Rico
  6. I love seeing how Billy became to Carolee's son.
  7. Celine to Jim: You stopped touching me. You stopped making love to me. Jim: Of course I did, bitch! You went crazy on me. Oh my!!!
  8. This is a question for MontyB and everyone: Not having seen much of Jada Rowland as Carolee, did she play the role/was it written with the same wry sense of humor or was she a totally different (but acceptable) Carolee Aldrich? Carolee Campbell WAS a real hoot as Miss Simpson! To piggyback on Jam6242's response, Jada played the role way more seriously, but who could not love Jada. She and David O'Brien had the same type of chemistry.
  9. Just want to say I'm enjoying the show on RetroTV. I can't tell you how much I love Carolee Campbell. By the time I really got into the show Jada Rowland had just taken over. Of course, I adore her, but Campbell is a hoot.
  10. I totally agree. Porsha came out as the adult and Cynthia acted like a high school girl whose feelings where hurt because someone talked about her. It really was pathetic.
  11. Wow! You have a real hate for Porsha. Kind of strange. Well, I shouldn't talk because I hate Kenya more than you hate Porsha.
  12. Of course she can't. They took her props away.
  13. This how I feel about it. I believe she got exactly what was coming to her. Phaedra's read was classic. I get a kick out of how Kenyabots keep trying to turn it around on Apollo.
  14. I thought the finale was okay. Veronica had me hollering. I really don't have any complaints about the show, but one thing I wish TP would do is pick up the pace a little. From watching every week, it seems like only 2 or 3 weeks, if that much, has passed for them.
  15. If i have any complaint, it would be this. Hannah clearly knows this woman is off. Why does she continuously bother with her.
  16. This is exactly what makes me love this show.
  17. I'm going to put out there exactly the way I'm feeling it. I loved that scene. Too long? Child bye! Thought I completely do not agree with Veronica, she is the ultimate bitch. Love that woman.
  18. Wyatt: What's the bulge?? Hmm, I wish I could have seen that
  19. I just can't with some folks. Some idiot on another board wrote the TP is writing Jeffery as a stereotypical gay man who cannot be around straight men without interest or arousal. Ugh! The ignorance is beyond astounding. IMO, Jefferey is not doing anything different that some "straight" guy would do. I give TP points for not making Jeffrey some boring gay moral compass.
  20. Don't give a damn what anyone says, that was one the best reads ever. I hollered. I don't think I'm going to erase that for a very long time.
  21. Cool! I'm not a major fan of TP. In fact, I truly hated a few of his movies, but for some reason, with all it's flaws, I like this show. I agree it needs a new writer just for simple continuity purposes. On that note, I just can't with tjhat other show of his on OWN.
  22. True that! Trust me, I meant nothing negative by my comment. I just think it's funny the show gets picked apart, but somehow people can't tune out.
  23. This is why I take all the criticism with a pure grain of salt. LOL! Obviously, there's something redeeming to keep people coming back.
  24. What an evil selfish bitch that Veronica. I love it!
