Queen Sugar is the best soap on the air at the moment. I can't wait to see how Novin beats the odds for this relationship. GV and Rutina are fire! I absolutely love everything about them. Really soapy!

I knew about Julie's demise but I had no idea that it would happen in this episode…well, her fall down the stairs anyway. The episode had me on the edge of my seat throughout and the following episode as well done, too, especially with the music as Greta stored her stolen goods in the closet. I loved the look on Julie's face as she taunted Rico and she relished in the fact that she was going to destroy his life.
Yes, I was on the edge of my seat too. At first I thought Rico was going to give in and kiss Julie, but when he left and she started up the stairs,I figured something bad was going happen when she saw Greta with her collection.
You are so right about the music. It really makes the scene. That's what's missing from today's soaps. The only daytime soap that I bother to watch sometimes is TBATB and they play muzak in the background. The scenes are nowhere as compelling as these.
Julie's sinister smile after she further tore her dress chilled me. Clearly, she was going to make life hell for Rico. I'll miss her stirring up trouble at Hope Memorial. Ginger Gerlach was pretty memorable in that role.
Yes, Ginger did a great job. I read that a year later she died of a drug overdose. How tragic.

Just want to say I'm enjoying the show on RetroTV. I can't tell you how much I love Carolee Campbell. By the time I really got into the show Jada Rowland had just taken over. Of course, I adore her, but Campbell is a hoot.
This is a question for MontyB and everyone: Not having seen much of Jada Rowland as Carolee, did she play the role/was it written with the same wry sense of humor or was she a totally different (but acceptable) Carolee Aldrich? Carolee Campbell WAS a real hoot as Miss Simpson!
To piggyback on Jam6242's response, Jada played the role way more seriously, but who could not love Jada. She and David O'Brien had the same type of chemistry.

Cynthia is so fake and she certainly didn't "get" anyone tonight. I was dying laughing when she kept saying "Don't come for me when I didn't come for you"…She's now outright stealing Kenya's lines. So pathetic

I seriously doubt that Peter gives a f*ck about his image at this point. And he'll still come for Porsha, spilling that truth tea and crushing her ass yet again [like the roach she is] like he did last season. She'll once again cower to her nearest corner and play victim, and I'll grin with joy.
Porsha is the main one bumping her gums in interviews as of late, not failing to realize that they'll pile up on her ass at the reunion real quick. Kenya was already too much for her. Just imagine Kenya, Claudia, Cynthia, and Demetria doing it. And Nene nor Phaedra will intervene as they both only care for themselves. So Porsha needs to zip it become she is dragged off the reunion set kicking and screaming because she was mind-f*cked [yet again].
And this whole 'blowing the wind' crap is old. Everyone on all these shows blow with the wind. No alliance [with the exception of Sonja and Ramona on RHONY AND Kandi and Phelony on RHOA] is tight. Cynthia ain't the only one that has flipped on this show. She won't be the last. And I would've flipped on Nene and that bacon strip looking wig on her head too if she dogged me and my significant other for daring to not follow suit.
It boggles my mind how everyone was all for Cynthia when she didn't give Nene grief and co-signed tons of her bulls*it, but when she does act like a true friend and tells Nene some truth to better herself [like maintaing grace under fire at Kenya's charity event], she's a flip flopper.
Wow! You have a real hate for Porsha. Kind of strange. Well, I shouldn't talk because I hate Kenya more than you hate Porsha.

I really don't have any complaints about the show, but one thing I wish TP would do is pick up the pace a little. From watching every week, it seems like only 2 or 3 weeks, if that much, has passed for them.

Why did Hannah trust Crusty Celine to relay a message to Sally for her?

I LOVE HER! I loved her story about her unborn children and how Jeffrey was her punishment for her abortion. Im sorry if this is wrong but I was not feeling Jeffrey. I was laughing at him throughout this scene and cheering her. Its dead wrong but she's such a delicious bitch to watch. For once I loved a long scene as that was very meaty.
I'm going to put out there exactly the way I'm feeling it. I loved that scene. Too long? Child bye!
