That, and it just doesn't make any sense. The show goes from boring and dreadful with nothing really happening to suddenly a jolt happens and we get Sheila "dead" on a Monday? Plus, someone who was fired doesn't promote their death beyond an exit interview, so Kimberlin "liking" posts and sharing stories on Instagram isn't necessarily proving to be something we can expect to be truthful from the show. As pointed out, they already did this in 2022 with Finn.

and when SC did an IG post awhile back we heard in the background "Crime scene" so that must been the Sheila stuff, alot of us thought it might be something else lol

How long has it taken Steffy to take her down and it’s finally happening, so it’s going to be a big shock.” As a fan of the soap before she joined it in 2008, Wood adds, “For someone who used to watch the show, and to [now] go toe-to-toe against Sheila, that’s a really cool moment.”

I think Steffy is hallucinating that she "got up and left" hard to tell

Brown, meanwhile, had her own challenges playing out the death scenes. “Can I just say that the aftereffects for Sheila, laying on a concrete floor for hours, that really hurts!” she relays. “I was bruised for the week from laying on concrete!”

It also gave her time to think about the future. “Laying there on that floor when the paramedics pronounce the time of death, my eyes were closed and you’re holding your breath so it doesn’t look like you’re breathing,” Brown shares. “It was just like, ‘Wow, OK, I guess we’ll have to see what might come next for me.’”

In an exclusive interview with TV Insider, Kimberlin Brown, who has played Sheila on and off since 1990, when the character debuted on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, admitted that exiting the show was “a tough place for me to be in right now,” adding, that playing Sheila was “my happy place where I have been so blessed to be for over 35 years.” Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Steffy’s portrayer, shared in that same interview that the scripted turn for her character was “bittersweet because I absolutely love working with Kimberlin.” The actress noted that dealing with the aftershock of the stabbing will lead to “an emotional roller coaster for Steffy.”

Sheila hasn't given them much of a ratings boost since at least 2022. Maybe if they just let her be her and stop trying to say she  has "changed"(without actually doing any work to justify that) then I I could buy it
