It's about the wedding. Luke and Maddie decide that they need to check with their friend who said he found Will passed out at the bus station, Sam. Sam [played by InTurn's Ian] confesses that he never found Will at the bus stop. He explains that he came to the party, but didn't touch any alcohol and once he saw Will highly intoxicated, he offered him a ride home and Will told him to drop him off at the Lakeview. Luke asks Sam if he minds being questioned and though hesitant at first, Sam finally agrees. Meanwhile, Will has another flashback of a male screaming out him to get out. Andy tells Susan that he doesn't care where Emily is. Susan explains that Emily left hours ago following Andy. She also tells him how Emily's phone seems to be on silent. As Frank and Emily continue to argue over Emily getting out of the car, Emily secretly calls Andy on her cell phone and tips him off to where they're at and where they're headed over the phone. Frank sees her had besid the seat and asks her what she thinks she's doing. Emma goes off on Grant for hovering her farm above her. Grant quickly apologizes and the two leave together. At Jack and Carly's...the two sit down to have a romantic dinner together. However, Jack gets a call from Luke about a lead in the hit and run case and Carly is left alone. Time passes by and Grant appears at the door. Carly comments how late it is, but Grant tells her that Emma has agreed to Grant helping her get her farm back. While Carly wonders aloud what might have changed Emma's mind...we see a bedsheet-clad Emma crawling out of bed at the Lakeview, leading the viewers to believe that Emma and Grant did a little "negotiating" of their own. 3. Lucy asks for Dusty and is surprised when Meg comes in with him. She breaks down and starts crying, explaining that she never meant to come between Dusty and Meg. It all seems to be a bit too much for Meg, who leaves the room. Lucy explains to Dusty that she’s going back to college now to get her life back on track and promises never to bug Dusty again. Meg returns to the room just as Dusty begs Lucy not to go. Emma and Grant settle down for lunch and Grant can tell Emma is smitten by him. Once he starts talking legal terms, Emma gets nervous and tells Grant that she doesn’t need his help after all. Grant begs her to sit down and hear him out. He tells a surprised Emma that if he wanted to, he could get her the farm back today. Luke and Maddie take their cue and asks Lisa if they can accompany her. When Lisa starts to ask questions, they just lie and Lisa agrees. Once in the woman’s room, Luke and Maddie notice the portrait of a sunset on the wall and realize that the friend that they talked to, who told them they found Will at the bus station, was lying. They head back to Java to re-meet with Will and Gwen, while Gwen is reassuring Will that she’s there for him and that she knows he could never do such a terrible thing, unlike the person who really hit Elaine. Emily refuses to budge and tells the man, Frank [played by Peter Falk], that she is not going anywhere. She does, however, promise him a ride to the police station. Frank becomes infuriated and pulls out a knife, telling Emily to get out of the car and give him everything she has of value…or else. Meanwhile, Susan contacts Andy and asks if he’s seen Emily.
  4. Will, Gwen, Maddie, and Luke all go for a cup of coffee at Java and run into Lisa. Coincidentally, she says that she has to go due to one customer who’s been giving her heck all day, whether the beds are too stiff or she wants that hideous picture of a sunset taken down off the wall. Everyone looks at one another, knowing that something’s not adding up. Jason wakes up from his morning slumber at The Wagon Wheel and finds he has a new voice message from his father, urging him to return home. Alone, he wonders if he’ll ever be able to escape all the fame and the chaos. Meanwhile, Katie tells Mike that she refuses to sleep in the same bed with him until he apologizes to Jason for all the times he’s jumped on him in the last few weeks. Roxie returns to her apartment and gets a visit from Barbara, wanting to ask a question about one of the designs. Roxie is shocked to find the initials “G.N.” on one of the designs. Roxie lies and says that she wrote that as an abbreviation for “Gown/Nightwear”. Barbara accepts Roxie’s lie and leaves. Roxie seems relieved that she’s passing off Gwen’s designs as her own. Emma arrives at the Lakeview and finds Grant waiting for her in the lobby. She asks how he knew she was coming and he explains that Carly has told him what a sensible woman Emma is. Emma tries to not let it show, but is secretly smitten with Grant…and even more surprised when he asks her out on a date…to discuss getting the farm back, of course.
  5. I just can't picture Christie as "Michelle". She seems too young for the part. I could definitely see her as a "Marah" or a blonde, slightly aged "Marina"...but "Michelle" should be in her early-thirties and Chrisite (IMHO) doesn't fit that mold. However, I am very pleased with your casting of A-M and Lucy. Though I love Dinah/Mallet on the current show..
  6. Gwen returns to find Luke and Will about to go for some coffee at Java and tags along. Will explains everything that he can remember, including the flashbacks he's had. Dusty spots Meg and tells of how Lucy asked for her mother and grandmother (who are going to break the new of her miscarriage to her) and wants to talk to Dusty after she's done talking with them. Meg and Dusty have a heart to heart and Meg quitely tells Dusty that she's there for him if he needs her. Dusty asks what made her change her mind. Meg confides that Roxie made her realize how lucky she really is and the two then hug. Emma shows up at The Wagon Wheel, still furious from her earlier meeting with Jack about Mr. Hamilton being called to town on her behalf. She finds a note from Meg explaining that Lucy's been taken to Memorial. Emma goes to leave, but Mr. Hamilton arrives. He tells her to sit down and that they need to talk. He informs Emma that her children and her children's children and all her family have all been helped by Emma. He asks why Emma won't let them help her, seeing as how she has lost her farm. Emma throws Grant out again. Later, Emma thoughtfully recalls Grant's words and heads out the door. Susan learns from Emily that Andy has left for Chicago and Emily is following him. Emily promises to call her mother as soon as she can find Andy and work things out with him. On the way to Chicago, Emily finds an old man on the side of the road and gives him a lift. She's stunned when the old man pulls a gun on her and tells her to stop the car, get out, and give him everything she has.

Meg makes plans for Emma to move in with her until Iva can find a good home for Emma in Iva's neighborhood. "I'm really looking forward to this. I've heard alot of great things about the direction the show is headed and I'm just glad to be a part of it," says Douglas. Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford also was thrilled when Douglas accepted. "Basically, if he couldn't do it, we weren't going to even bring the character on. Jerry is phenomenal in front of a camera and I wanted to get that same charisma and bring it to 'The World Of Oakdale'," says Alford. "And thank goodness he said 'yes' ". Douglas will be portraying the newly created role of Grant Hamilton, a wealthy financier from New York who comes to town to help Emma Snyder get her farm back. 20. Aaron & Alison Return! 'The World Of Oakdale' is thrilled to announce the return of fan favorites Agim Kaba and Jessica Dunphy. [laughs] Did I just say 'stoked'?," joked Kaba. Dunphy was all giggles during her interview. "I just can't wait to begin working again. It's been almost a year or two since we left and it has felt like forever," she says. Craig: Jailbird No More? Word has it that TPTB at 'The World Of Oakdale' are looking to cast the role of Craig, just like the regular show recently did. We sat down with Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford to get the scoop. "I've had plans to bring Craig back for some time now. Way before the regular show ever announced their intentions of casting the role. But the timing sucked back then. Now, it's perfect." Alford also went on to say that their should be an announcement sometime next month. He also hinted that Craig may be a changed man when he gets sprung from jail. "I just never liked the way that they portrayed him in recent years. He definitely will be a changed man, I think, and that will turn some Oakdaleians' heads." Extra! Extra! HOT! 'The World Of Oakdale' has been taken by storm. Thousands of fans have acknowledged their continually growing interest in the pairing of Andy Hughes and Emily Stewart. Oakdale Digest caught up with Scott DeFreitas to ask him what it's like to be part of such a fan-approved coupling. "Oh, it's awesome," says DeFreitas. "Kelly and I love working together and we just go in there and do our thing. I think Emily's a good fit for Andy because they're so much alike. They just don't see it." But recently, Emily's done something that Andy won't approve of. She's been snooping around town trying to take photos of newly arrived celebrity Jason Summers. "Emily has always been the type where she'll do anything for a good story. Like a true journalist. But Andy just doesn't see why she's so insistent on running this story," says DeFreitas. With the new issue of The Enquirer flying off the printers at the end of last Friday's episode, a viewer begins to wonder what Andy's reaction will be. Stay tuned to find out. Pregnancy Shocker!
