I'm not saying I need cast members to performatively go out and pull their hair for us. It just seems like usually someone will remember a colleague. I wasn't expecting Selma Hayek to make a statement before an AMC alum.
I haven't fully investigated, but in my article on his death, I noted that Alicia Minshew liked Adam Sandler's post. But I'll circle back after I compile a post on people who remembered him, similar to Bill Hayes.

Just four months into its fourth season, the nationally syndicated daytime show “The Drew Barrymore Show,” hosted by Drew Barrymore, has been renewed for a fifth season, Wendy McMahon, President and CEO of CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures, recently announced.
Originally set to launch its fourth season on September 18, 2023, during what would become the tail end of the since-concluded Writers Strike, producers opted to delay the new season’s start after the show came under fire for continuing without its striking writers. As a result, the talk show received a major rebuke from members of the Writers Guild, becoming a target of striking writers that led to a notable presence by picketers outside the show’s New York studio.
Despite officially returning to production in October, with the new season launching on October 16, the show’s three WGA-affiliated writers declined to return to the series, forcing production to replace them.
CBS Stations will continue as the anchor group for the daytime talk show through the 2024-2025 television season in major markets, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
“‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ is firing on all cylinders this season,” McMahon said in a statement. “Drew continues to catapult the show into the cultural zeitgeist with her empathetic and thoughtful interviews transporting viewers into her living room, where they feel like they are listening to a conversation between two friends that they are a part of. It’s an experience unlike any other in television. Drew is truly creating magic in daytime, and we’re thrilled to continue to bring that to our stations.”
So far this season, the talk show is averaging 1.1 million viewers and seeing growth from October to December in several key measurements, including +9% in Households and +4% in Total Viewers. In New York alone, “The Drew Barrymore Show” is up in both Adults 25-54 (+23%) and Women 25-54 (+18%).
Featuring Barrymore’s signature interview style, the show has quickly become a destination for entertainment, information, and important conversations. Composed of exclusive celebrity interviews, unique lifestyle segments, social media influencers and feel-good news stories, the show’s mission is to touch all aspects of life through Drew’s unique optimistic lens.
Recent guests have included the full cast of the new “Mean Girls” film, including Renee Rapp, Angourie Rice, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, Auli’I Cravalho and Jaquel Spivey, plus guests who’ve already appeared in recent episodes or will appear in the near future such as Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Annette Bening, Dan Levy, Isla Fisher, Lucy Hale, Clive Owen, Andie MacDowell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jamie Oliver and Chrissy Teigen, among others.

Yes, it's FOX News, but it includes an interview/conversation with his fiancée which talks about COVID. I just find it odd how it's now all of a sudden a gun shot wound to the chest. It's so weird.

Yeah, I would think she meant the latter because the reports I originally read following news of his death claimed COVID-related things, but to go from that to now being an apparent suicide in the manner stated in the medical examiner's report is just odd.

Appearing in 123 episodes of ABC’s “All My Children” as a recast Del Henry from 2005-2007, actor Alec Musser has died. He was just 50 years old.
According to a press release issued by the San Diego Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday, Musser’s manner of death was declared to be suicide, with the cause of death listed as an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
The report further notes that on the morning of Saturday, January 13, Musser’s fiancée, Paige Press, “awoke and went to find the decedent seated and slumped forward on the bathroom floor.” After noting a firearm near him, Press called 911, where paramedics and law enforcement responded and confirmed the death.
While the official date and time of injury is listed as unknown, the medical examiner’s office indicated in its report that the “decedent was a 50-year-old White male who lived with his fiancée in a home in Del Mar [California]. His fiancée last knew him to be alive on the evening of 01/12/2024 when she had gone to bed.” Musser was declared dead at 6:43 a.m. local time on 01/13/2024, according to the report.
In a series of posts to her Instagram story on Saturday evening, Press shared several images of Musser and herself, together and separate, with one captioned saying, “Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy.” She said in another message, “You were the best fiance [sic] I could of ever asked for. I don’t even think I can drive my g wagon anymore.” In a third message, Press noted, “I am never taking off my ring. @alecmusser I love you forever.”
Other photos shared include some with Musser and his dog(s), with one message saying, “You were the best dog dad,” while another said, “Rue will never stop loving her dad,” which accompanied a photo of Musser holding the dog in his right hand while his left hand is on the steering wheel presumably steering the aforementioned Mercedes G-Wagon.
Born Alexander Barrett Musser on April 11, 1973 in New York City, Musser resided in various parts of the New York Metropolitan area, including New Jersey and Connecticut, before eventually setting up roots in San Diego, California, which is where he achieved his higher education, graduating from the University of San Diego.
An avid athlete with experience working at a ski resort and as a lifeguard, Musser eventually caught the eye of a modeling agent, leading to his first modeling job working for Abercombie & Fitch. He appeared in campaigns for Gianfranco Ferré, Speedo and Target. His work was also featured in magazine ads, including those shown in Men’s Health, GQ and Cosmopolitan. He also appeared on the cover of several magazines, including Maximum Fitness.
While transitioning from modeling to acting, Musser made a name for himself in 2005 when he joined the SOAPnet reality competition series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star” during the show’s second season.
As the winner, Musser landed a 13-week contract on “All My Children,” playing a recast Del Henry, first played by Winsor Harmon in the mid-1990s.
Following his stint on “All My Children,” Musser continued acting, appearing in such shows as the Lifetime comedy series “Rita Rocks” and ABC’s mega-hit “Desperate Housewives.” In 2010, Musser made a notable appearance in the 2010 film “Grown Ups,” playing the Water Park Stud that the wives drooled over, at the annoyance of their husbands.
Co-written by and starring Adam Sandler, “Grown Ups” grossed over $270 million worldwide and led to a sequel film, released in 2013. Musser did not appear in the film.

Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.” Since its posting, Sandler’s post has received nearly two million likes, including one from Musser’s former “All My Children” co-star Alicia Minshew (ex-Kendall Hart).
Also sharing memories of Musser from his work on “Grown Ups” was actress Salma Hayek, who posted on Instagram a clip of the actor during the aforementioned water park scenes in the film along with a touching message from her time working with him.
In her post, Hayaek said, “In loving memory of Alec Musser. He was so kind professional and absolutely hilarious [sic]. His early departure breaks my heart. I feel so blessed that I got to meet him. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for this great loss.”

Okay, thanks for confirming. Seeing that downgrading the TLS version doesn't change things, it would seem not to be the issue then. I don't know the software used by the other sites you are comparing, but I'd imagine they aren't using similar technology.
Sorry that you are going through this. I hope you are able to resolve this soon by upgrading your software or finding an easy workaround.

(even though I hadn't been able to update Chrome or Edge in over a year).I'm not sure if you saw what I posted, but I need to know if the issue is resolved as I've temporarily reduced the TLS-acceptable version to TLS 1.0 and later (TLS 1.2 and later should be the only ones allowed at this point).
Please let me know ASAP!

But embedded tweets displayed fine in all browsers for me until one month ago (Dec. 15). And I can still see embedded tweets on other messageboards. Just not SON. And as I said, I can see properly embedded tweets on some websites but not others.Nobody else has mentioned an issue, so this is different from the last time when Twitter was at fault.
I guess it's my PC, and nothing I can do about it at this time. I know how to clumsily figure out what people are posting, it's not perfect but it will do until I can upgrade my technology.That is definitely the issue, then.
Behind the scenes, we are slowly removing support for TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and soon TLS 1.2. Currently, we're allowing support for TLS 1.1 and later, but that'll be gradually changed to TLS 1.2 and later and finally just TLS 1.3 support.

Nothing. SSL/TLS certificates are not contingent upon protocol versions and vice versa. When a new version of the protocol becomes available – or is deprecated – that’s a server-side configuration task. For reference, TLS stands for Transport Layer Security, which is an updated, more secure version of SSL (the key lock in the address bar).
- TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 were depreciated in 2021. These versions are security issues which is why we are removing them.
- TLS 1.2 is pending depreciation and has been in use since 2008
- TLS 1.3 is currently the standard version and has been in use since 2018.
How does TLS work?
A TLS connection is initiated using a sequence known as the TLS handshake. When a user navigates to a website that uses TLS, the TLS handshake begins between the user's device (also known as the client device) and the web server.
During the TLS handshake, the user's device and the web server:
- Specify which version of TLS (TLS 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, etc.) they will use
- Decide on which cipher suites (see below) they will use
- Authenticate the identity of the server using the server's TLS certificate
- Generate session keys for encrypting messages between them after the handshake is complete
The TLS handshake establishes a cipher suite for each communication session. The cipher suite is a set of algorithms that specifies details such as which shared encryption keys, or session keys, will be used for that particular session. TLS is able to set the matching session keys over an unencrypted channel thanks to a technology known as public key cryptography.
The handshake also handles authentication, which usually consists of the server proving its identity to the client. This is done using public keys. Public keys are encryption keys that use one-way encryption, meaning that anyone with the public key can unscramble the data encrypted with the server's private key to ensure its authenticity, but only the original sender can encrypt data with the private key. The server's public key is part of its TLS certificate.
Once data is encrypted and authenticated, it is then signed with a message authentication code (MAC). The recipient can then verify the MAC to ensure the integrity of the data. This is kind of like the tamper-proof foil found on a bottle of aspirin; the consumer knows no one has tampered with their medicine because the foil is intact when they purchase it.

Do you have an updated version of Chrome? or Edge?

Bill Hayes, the beloved actor who portrayed Doug Williams continuously on “Days of our Lives” since 1970, died on Friday, January 12. He was 98 years old.
“I have known Bill for most of my life and he embodied the heart and soul of ‘Days of our Lives,’” said Ken Corday, the executive producer of “Days ofour Lives” and owner of Corday Productions, which produces the series alongside Sony Pictures Television. He added, “Although we are grieving and will miss him, Bill’s indelible legacy will live on in our hearts and the stories we tell, both on and off the screen.”
Born William Foster Hayes III on June 5, 1925 in Harvey, Illinois, Hayes fathered five children with his first wife, Mary Hobbs, whom he’d been married to from 1947 to 1969. Five years later, Hayes married “Days of our Lives” co-star and on-screen scene partner Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie Williams) in 1974. Two years later, the couple would not only see their characters get married on the show but they would also see themselves featured on the cover of Time, marking the first and only time that performers on a daytime drama series had ever graced the magazine’s cover.

TIME During “The 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” in 2018, Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes were dually presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by co-star Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans). Bill Hayes received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his portrayal of Doug Williams on “Days of our Lives,” first in 1975 and again in 1976, both in the category of Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series.
Outside of “Days of our Lives,” Hayes appeared in numerous television shows and movies throughout his career, including “True Story,” “Kiss Me, Kate,” “The United States Steel Hour,” “The Yeomen of the Guard,” “Decoy,” “The Cardinal,” “The Bell Telephone Hour,” “Cop Rock” and “Frasier,” among others.
Recalling his freshman year attending DePauw University in 1941, Hayes wrote in “Like Sands Through the Hour Glass” of his decision to join the Navy Air Corps, saying, “As time wore on, all the men either enlisted or got drafted into the service.” He added, “The music of the serenades changed drastically as families and couples were being torn apart by war.
After enlisting and serving three years in the Navy, Hayes returned to DePauw, where he double majored in music and English and was a Rector Scholar at the University. Shortly after graduating in 1947, Hayes became a regular on “Your Show of Shows,” a popular variety television show at the time.
As a singer, Hayes is well known for his rendition of “The Ballad of Davy Crockett,” which spent five weeks at the top of the music charts in 1955. Hayes also appeared on Broadway, most famously in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “Me and Juliet,” which celebrated its 70th anniversary last year with a performance by Hayes of “The Ballad of Davy Crockett.”
“‘Me and Juliet’ opened at the Majestic Theatre in New York City on May 28, 1953, where it ran for 358 performances. Featuring music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, the show was directed by George Abbott with Dances and Musical Numbers staged by Robert Alton. The best-known song from the score “No Other Love” (introduced by Isabel Bigley and Bill Hayes) reused a melody known as “Beneath the Southern Cross,” originally written by Rodgers for the 1952 documentary series “Victory at Sea.”
In a 2017 interview with Soap Opera Digest, Hayes told the magazine of how he got asked to sing his rendition of “The Ballad of Davy Rockett,” recalling, “Archie Bleyer was the head of Cadence Records, and he called me in the morning of December 16, 1954, and he said, ‘Are you able to record a song with me?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I am.’ He wrote the arrangement and I studied the song and we met at 10 o’clock that night, recorded it in one take, and we were on the way. It’s a gold record and it’s on my wall and I’m looking at it now.” Hayes later went on tour following the song’s success, telling Digest, “Everybody in the audience would know every word in the song. It’s just that good a song! Everybody in the country today still knows it. If I start singing, they’ll sing along with me. It was quite a magic ride. It just took off like a skyrocket.”
In 2022, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day,” a video of Hayes singing his rendition of “A Little Bit of Heaven” was posted to the “Days of our Lives” official YouTube channel. The folk song was first introduced in 1914 with music by Ernest Ball and lyrics by Keirn Brennan.

ABC’s “General Hospital” (2.175 million) was the big winner among Total Viewers during the week of January 1-5, 2024, adding +135,000 viewers week-to-week and hitting a new season high. Overall, the series attracted its largest audience since the week of May 1-5, 2023 (2.179 million vs. 2.175 million).
Since hitting a season low of just 1.915 million two weeks ago (week of December 18-22, 2023), the daytime drama series has seen two consecutive weeks of increases, climbing by +260,00 viewers during that period.
Among Women 25-54, “General Hospital” tied with CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.741 million), both with a 0.4 rating. However, in the unrounded demo, “General Hospital” actually beat “The Bold and the Beautiful” for the first time this season (0.43 rating vs. 0.40 rating). The ABC series saw a big jump in unrounded over the week ago, going from a 0.36 rating last week to a 0.43 rating this week (+0.07).
“The View” (2.453 million) hit an eight-week high among Total Viewers (since the week of November 6-10, 2023), marking its second most-watched week of the season. The daily talk show continues to outrank all other daytime network talk shows and news programs, including “TODAY 3rd Hour” (2.217 million), “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” (1.969 million), “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.413 million), “NBC News Daily” (1.303 million) and “The Talk” (1.290 million).
NBC’s broadcast of “The Tournament of Roses Parade” and ABC’s broadcast of “The Rose Bowl Parade” topped the list among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, ranking first and second, respectively. Both specials were up over their 2023 broadcasts.

While the cast of “General Hospital” are who we think of when talking about ABC’s sole remaining daytime drama series, with glimpses of executive producer Frank Valentini and head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor shown from time to time in interviews and on social media, it is the people behind the scenes who we never get to see and hear from that also make the show what it is year in and year out.
To help honor those who play a significant role in the daily production of “General Hospital,” the series aired its full 2023 end credits on Tuesday, January 2, listing all those engineers, lighting directors, costumers, hairstylists, music connoisseurs, assistant directors, editors, office assistants, accountants, producers, technicians, carpenters, boom and audio operators, art directors, and so many more positions that are needed to make life in Port Charles, or more specifically The Prospect Studios in Hollywood, an easy one.
Although airing after a dramatic episode in which Carly (Laura Wright) learned her mother, Bobbie Spencer (the late Jacklyn Zeman), had passed away, the end credits are an annual recap to honor those working behind the scenes throughout the previous calendar year. Therefore, the music played during the credits was meant to highlight the holiday season and in no way detract viewers from the storylines shown on-screen, which is something that caused quite a stir on social media shortly after it aired, but we won’t get into all of that.
What follows is a breakdown of those people working behind the scenes in 2023 who helped in some way, big or small, to create the “General Hospital” fans have come to love and enjoy.

GH would have to be the number one show on ABC for that to happen. Not saying primetime actors aren't fans of the soap, but that ABC would have to get them to film a promo would only happen if the show was ABC's top program.
When/if Grey's Anatomy were to end in a year or two, or whenever, I'm sure it'll get that treatment. Same for GH if/when it gets canceled, but just not for an anniversary right now.

It’s safe to say Deidre Hall won’t be attending any of Jo Koy’s upcoming comedy gigs.
The “Days of Our Lives” stalwart, who played Dr. Marlena Evans for over 45 years on the long-running soap, slammed the standup comic as he was hosting the 2024 Golden Globes in Los Angeles Sunday night.
“The Globes Globes host, Jo Koy, is a complete embarrassment to himself and the Academy,” Hall, 76, wrote in a heated Facebook post. “Skip it.”
I saw when Deidre made that post yesterday, and I took her advice, lol. Sounds like it went from bad to worse. Let's hope Ricky Gervais gets a call next. You can hate the dude or dislike his jokes, but at least it gets people talking for the jokes themselves and not for tanking in front of a live audience and a live audience on TV. That's just bad, and I even like Jo Koy for the most part. I've found a number of his stand-up jokes funny and will watch a clip or two on YouTube from time to time. There's even an Asian woman who takes his jokes and presents her content with it by acting them out -- she does the same with other comedians, including Kevin Hart.

To be clear, I'm not saying fans can't campaign on something they believe in, but they should at least know the facts behind certain decisions. We can't always blame the show or the network for things.

On Saturday, January 6, one week after soap alum Jordi Vilasuso (“The Young and the Restless,” “All My Children,” et. al) shared an update on the pending birth of he and his wife Kaitlin preparing to welcome their third child, another daughter, into the world, the couple took to Instagram to announce the birth of Lucy Noelle Vilasuso.
“It is with overwhelming joy and the fullest of hearts that we welcome the answer to our prayers, our sweet Lucy Noelle. We have been waiting so long for you, little girl. ‘You are something between a dream and a miracle,'” said the couple in a dually posted message on Instagram.
“Thank you, beautiful friends and family, for the part you have played in this chapter. I wish I could say that it was a purely faith filled journey from our first loss until today, but the God’s honest truth is that knowing you were holding our family in your prayers was often what got us through. I know I’ve said it before, but we are truly forever grateful,” the post continued.
“And to anyone who sees these pictures and feels an ounce of hurt for your own hearts dream- please know that I will never not think about you as I post. I truly never thought this day would come- as evidenced by my complete lack of preparation for this little bundle.. I literally had not bought a thing. But this little girl in my arms is proof that God’s promises are greater than our fears, no matter how big those fears are. I see you, I have been you, I am praying for you. Hold onto your hope. “We love each of you to the [moon emoji] .. and also, Riley and Evie are the best big sisters on the planet.”
Lucy Noelle joins older sisters Riley Grace, 11, and Everly Maeve, 7, into the family.
In the Vilasusos’ previous Instagram post, the couple noted that their new baby was coming early at 35 weeks.
“It looks like we are in for one more surprise before we ring in the new year! Baby girl is a bit early (35 weeks) but we are so blessed that we were able to make it this far. What a miracle! Thank you for each prayer that has been sent up for our family and we ask for one more as this little lady comes into the world! God bless you all!” read Vilasuso’s message. He added, “P.S. my wife has been and continues to be so strong and faithful. I’ve been in awe of how you’ve been able to keep your and our spirits high throughout this arduous and joyous journey…you will forever be my Katie girl…LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!”
In the months and weeks leading up to the birth of the couple’s third child, the Vilasusos had asked for thoughts and prayers as Kaitlin shared in a post on Instagram in September that her body was “struggling to hold her and she’s at risk of coming far too early.” Their daughter was originally due this month but came early, which Kaitlin explained could happen in her post.
“After many visits with some incredible doctors, we’ve made the decision to undergo a procedure called a cerclage in hopes that it will help keep her safe in my belly. There are risks to the procedure, but we are standing in faith that God did not bring us this far -with Riley and Everly feeling her move in my belly night after night- or bring her this far (20 weeks!) for her to not breathe the breath of life and have a long, beautiful one at that,” Kaitlin said in the post which included a picture of the couple posing for a family photo with their eldest daughters holding a sonogram photo of their baby sister.
A few days after Kaitlin posted her message on Instagram, her sister, actress Bailee Madison (“Good Witch,” “Once Upon a Time”), said in her own Instagram post, “My sister is expecting her 3rd baby, the journey getting here has been filled with faith and heartbreak along the way, however we are here, and this sweet baby girl already has our hearts and our family is so excited to wrap this new bundle of sweetness in our love… however, there’s some big steps that have to be taken to make this happen. My sister is going in for surgery today to try to give her body a little support to be able to carry this sweet little girl. She wrote so beautifully in her last post, and so I will direct you to that for all of the info (and feelings). But for now just want to say thank you for the love, and messages and prayers.”
Madison’s post included photos of her and Kaitlin and an intimate photo of Kaitlin and Jordi embracing Kaitlin’s baby bump.

In the post, Kaitlin said, “ I can’t stop thinking about what a blessing in disguise it has been to have had my best friend home w/ me during the ups and downs of the past 12 weeks. While there is no doubt that her heart has been with me- grieving with me and hurting for me- in every trial and loss of the past few years, work /distance has often kept her from physically being here. And while the SAG strike has certainly come with its own share of stresses, the fact that she has been able to be here WITH us has undoubtedly been the silver lining in it all. My goodness have I needed my baby sister.”
Kaitlin also thanked Bailee’s boyfriend of nearly five years, Blake Richardson, a singer in the band New Hope Club, for his support as well. “[Blake] has been RIGHT next to her every step of the way, loving on us as if he were an extension of her, fully jumping into uncle mode and bro mode in ways that I wouldn’t have thought even possible. We are forever grateful.”
In sharing congratulations to the Vilasusos for welcoming their newest member, several of Jordi’s former cast members at “The Young and the Restless” and “Days of our Lives,” among other soaps, filled the couple’s comment section with excitement and congratulations, including Jordi’s former on-screen sister, Sasha Calle (ex-Lola Rosales; “The Flash”).

It's not offensive. It is an opinion which I happen to agree with. Fan campaigns can work if the show made the decision they are campaigning to reverse. Without going into specifics, there are other reasons Bo and Hope aren't on the show, and it isn't because DAYS doesn't want them.

I just checked, and yes this is the outfit they are supposed to wear although the episode date is listed as January 9th for this particular photo. The episodes with these outfits were filmed on November 14, 2023 (airdates 12/26/2023; 12/27, 2023; 12/28, 2023), November 28, 2023 (airdate January 2, 2024), and November 30, 2023 (airdate January 9, 2024).

Yeah, I found out because a video I got from Corday for the Digital Series from a few years ago got a copyright note that was attached to Sony (even though Corday gave me the video for sharing purposes
), and they recommended the Liquid Soap channel in the notes. I did further digging and also remembered that Sony created a lot of YouTube channels during the height of the pandemic, including ones for Norman Lear's shows, The Nanny, and so on.
In fact, they also created a channel for classic talk shows called Talk Show Rewind which has old clips of "The Rikki Lake Show" and "The Tempestt Bledsoe Show." There are also dozens of other topic-specific channels they created on YouTube. I guess someone finally woke up and realized they could make some money off of the content.
As for accuracy, it's totally wrong in many cases, I agree. For instance, the DAYS videos say the show airs on NBC still and link to the NBC.com website which ironically redirects to the Peacock page for DAYS. FOX Television Stations and Hearst Television have renewed “The Jennifer Hudson Show” for a third season, keeping the daytime talk show hosted by EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner Jennifer Hudson on the air through at least the 2024-2025 television season. The show is produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
In addition to FOX and Hearst, the talk show also airs on stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, TEGNA, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media, and Gray Media Group, among other station groups.
“Jennifer is a rare talent, both in front of and behind the camera. Her enthusiasm and endearing demeanor radiates from the stage and onto television screens everywhere. It’s no wonder her audience continues to skyrocket. We are so proud of the entire Jennifer Hudson Show team for their amazing success, and we look forward to another year full of exciting moments, engaging conversations, and stellar guests,” said Channing Dungey, chair and CEO of the Warner Bros. Television Group, in a recent statement announcing the renewal news.
“I am so humbled by all the love the show has received these past two seasons, and I thank YOU for watching every day,” said Hudson of the show’s third season pickup in an exclusive shared with fans via her show’s weekly newsletter.

“We look forward to further growth of the show in year three, but we’re aware the real reason Jennifer wanted to extend with the Fox Stations is so that I’ll keep giving her singing lessons,” said Frank Cicha, executive vice president, programming, Fox Television Stations.
According to the latest Nielsen figures shared by Warner Bros., the show’s current second season is averaging 4.4 million total P2+ weekly viewers and has seen triple-digit increases in social engagement. Season two launched in early October after producers delayed the show’s premiere due to the WGA strike. Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, Taye Diggs (“Guiding Light”) and Cedric the Entertainer were some of the show’s first guests upon its return.
Distributed in national syndication by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” is executive produced by Hudson, Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner, Corey Palent, Graehme Morphy, and Walter Williams III, with LaNeé Griffin as co-executive producer.
