There's an After Empire special airing at 10:30 on FOX5. I'm wondering if it's locally programmed, but still with plenty of FOX affiliates airing it.

None of that is being promoted on the Fox Philly affiliate. Mostly Fox shows discussing Empire are the commercials.

I'm referring to those shows as being promoted during Empire's commercial breaks, at least on the main FOX feed out of New York (the #1 market). It's never been done before, at least not as consistently. Heck, even BET's The Game is getting promo time. That show stinks!

Being Mary Jane, The Haves and the Have Notes, Single Ladies, Will Smith's crap Focus movie and even The Real Housewives of.. all promoted during Empire. When was the last time specific types of cable shows were promoted as highly on a broadcast show?

A question was asked on which character he thinks the show could spinoff and I for some reason remember hearing Porsha, but I'm not 100% I'm 50/50 on what I heard because I heard talk about cops and stuff too. Will listen back to the audio when I get a chance.

Took part in a conference call today with Danny Strong, co-creator of "Empire," and he confirmed talks for how many episodes to produce next season do not include discussion of 22 episodes. Expect less.

Looks like the Cookie accidental murder will be revisited as expected next week. I just want to know what they'll pull off next week that'll have us salivating until next fall/spring. CAN'T WAIT!!!

When Hakeem was asking Lucious to fund his video, Lucious said he would as soon as Hakweem was as big a star as Tianna. That was the episode where Tianna and V had the pushing incident while filming the video. I don't see how Tianna would have had time to do a third album, but maybe more time has passed than I realized.

Oh, yeah. I remember that now. In hindsight, it made no sense to "fund" a video after one became a star. Doesn't a video make one a star these days? Did I dream up the 80s? Vevo is the new MTV. I do know that.

On a side note: How the heck did Hakeem know that was Anika coming out of the cab? He called her name before the cab drove off.
