Victor’s secretary Alexis walks into his office

Alexis

“Ms. Belle black is here to see you sir.”

Victor

“Than you. You can send her in.” Alexis leaves the office and Belle enters and closes the door behind her.

Victor

“Belle, it’s so great to see you.” He says walking over to her and hugging her.

Belle

“It’s good to see you to.”

Victor

“Thanks for coming by on such short notice.”

Belle

“Not a problem at all.”

Victor

“Please have a seat.”

Belle

“So what’s all this about?”

Victor

“Belle, I am relaunching Bella Magazine.”

Belle

“Isn’t that the magazine Carrie was supposed to be featured in?? It was a contest right? But only she got acid thrown on her face.”

Victor

“Indeed, but I choose not to remember that.”

Belle

“So why are you telling me?”

Victor

“I want you to be the face of Bella Magazine. Generous salary, plenty of travels, meeting with important people all over the world.”

Belle

“Wow Victor I don’t know what to say.”

Victor

“Say yes….”

Jeremy walks into the Titian building. He approaches Alexis’s desk. He looks at her and she looks at him and for a moment they are both speechless. They are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. It’s as if they are hypnotized by each other. Alexis is the first to break up this odd moment

“May I help you?”

Jeremy

“Most certainly can, I mean, I’m sorry, I’m here to see Victor.”

Alexis

“Do you have an appointment Mr……?”

Jeremy

“Horton, Jeremy Horton.”

Alexis arches an eyebrow, knowing very well of the Horton family

“Wow you’re related to the Horton’s?”

Jeremy

“I am. Is that a bad thing?”

Alexis

“No of course not, I mean, why would it be? The Horton name is synonymous with charity, civility and peace.”

Jeremy

“Wow, I’ve never heard those adjectives to describe my family. I didn’t hear sexy. That’s usually one I get a lot.”

Alexis, turned off by his smuggish attitude, quickly replies back with an attitude

“Sorry to burst your bubble, but you won’t be hearing that from me.” Looking down at Victor’s appoint book

“And it seems you don’t have an appointment with Mr. Kirakis. He’s busy and booked for the day, so next time call ahead before wasting your time. Good Day Mr. Horton.” Jeremy is absolutely stunned by Alexis’s icy cold 180.

The Dimera mansion

Peter walks into the living room and sits on the couch next to Lexie.

Lexie

“How’s Kristen?”

Peter

“She’s doing a lot better now. Especially since that bastard Tony is in jail.”

Lexie

“Listen Peter, he had a split personality. It wasn’t Tony who raped Kristen. It was Vince.”

Peter

“Lexie, not to be rude. I am not trying to hear that. The fact remains that man, Count, has rapped my sister. I don’t care if he had 15 different people living inside of him. My sister was rapped and some one has to pay. That’s not what I want to talk to you about anyway.”

Lexie

“Ok , what’s going on?”

Peter

“The custody trial. I’m going to represent you.”

Lexie, has a flashback of seeing her father, Stefano and her half brother and sister Elvis and Renee in the basement during the snow storm. She remembers Elvis telling her that he would help her get sole custody of Theo. Lexie wonders if Peter is in on this charade with Elvis and Renee.

“So you know?”

Peter, frowning

“Know what?”

Lexie pauses, and thinks, what if he doesn’t know..

“Nothing. So just tell me when does the trial start.”

Peter

“In one week. That doesn’t give you a lot of time.”

Lexie

“Time? Time for what?”

Peter

“To put together some kind of counter offensive in case I can’t get through to the judge.”

Lexie

“What do you mean? Your going to bribe the judge?”

Peter

“I’m a Dimera right?”

Lexie

“No,..no.. you’re a Blake.”

Peter

“Look, just leave that to me. The less you know the better. I got you an appointment set up with Mike Horton to talk about a possible job at Salem University Hospital.”

Lexie

“Uhm hello, I just got off trial for killing a man, well it was an accident. (Tara insert her other crimes here please). No hospital is going to hire me”

Peter

“Lexie just trust me. Be at the hospital at 9 in the morning. Everything will work out.” he say getting up. “Maybe he does know” Lexie thinks again.

Downtown

The Police Station,

Abe is giving the daily shift change report to his officers in his office.

“Tony Dimera has been brought in on rape charges against Kristen Blake. Also, be on the look out for Hope Brady. I have been getting reports of some new drug dealers in town. Near the pier. Keep your eyes and ears open. Meeting dismissed. The officers leaves Abe’s office and he sits behind his desk . Maggie walks in with a panic basket. Abe smiles

“What’s all this?”

Maggie

“I thought we could have a quick lunch. It’s such a beautiful march day. All the snow from the storm has melted. And besides, it’s rare we get a 65 degree day in March here in Salem.”

Abe

“You now you’re right. How could I say no after you went through so much trouble.” He gets to kiss her. As he pecks her on the lips, Celeste walks into Abe’s office and is stunned to see Abe and Maggie kissing

Salem University Hospital

Dr. mike Horton walks into Jan’s hospital room. He smiles at Lucas and Jan

Jan

“How is my baby?”

Mike

“I am happy to report that the baby is fine and very healthy. Lucas did an excellent job delivering the baby considering the circumstances. It’s not every day a woman gives birth on an elevator.”

Lucas

“Yea, you can say that again.”

Jan

“I want to see my baby Dr Horton.”

Mike

“I’ll have a nurse bring the baby by”

“ Yes I’m just in time to meet my great-nephew.” Mike turns around to see his aunt Julie

Mike

“it’s a surprise seeing you here Aunt Julie.”

Julie

“I don’t see why it would Mike dear. After all, This child is a part of my family.”

Jan

“Julie don’t start acting like a Bitch please. You are his great Aunt. It’s a pretty far relation.”

Mike is shocked that Jan called his aunt a female dog

“Jan I’ will need you not to talk to Julie that way.”

Jan

“Then get her the hell out of here!”

Julie

“How dare you speak to me like that little girl” Looking at Lucas, “You’re going to sit there and let her talk to me like that Lucas?” Lucas is torn between the woman he loves and his family.
