Episode # 299 - Thursday, February 1, 2007:

• Hope continues to try and escape the cell to which she is confined. She sees a man in the near distance. He is her guard. She is determined to get out and make Megan Spears pay for this!
• Shawn, Belle, Philip, Jan, and Jeremy try to formulate a plan to find Willow. Bo urges them to wait and let the police handle it, but Belle tells them she refuses to do that! She says she can’t just sit around and wait for Willow to make her ransom call.
• Marlena’s retirement party begins, and she tells John she should have postponed it until this mess with Claire has blown over, but John says Belle insisted this not ruin her party. Marlena still says she should be with Belle, but Belle calls her and absolutely insists Marlena have this party. Belle says Willow wants money…not the children, and she’ll be making a ransom call at any moment!
• Willow pulls into Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and arrives at a hotel.
• Bo reveals to Shawn, Belle, Philip, Jan, and Jeremy that Willow has been traced to renting a car the night she took the babies!
• Billie plans her wedding with Kate, Carrie, and Georgia. Meanwhile, Julie and Megan realize time to stop the wedding is running out!
• Everyone arrives at Chez Rouge for Marlena’s retirement party. The Horton woman - Sarah, Melissa, Maggie, and Alice - invite everyone into the restaurant to try and have a good time, despite all of the pain going on all over Salem.
• Eric struggles with how to tell his mother, Marlena, that he slept with Kristen!
• Meanwhile, John keeps trying to get Marlena alone to tell her he discovered he is Greta’s father!
• Bo, Shawn, Belle, and Philip wait impatiently for word on Willow and the babies, Claire and Trey.
• Philip informs Victor of the situation regarding Claire. He asks Victor to pull some strings. Victor is OUTRAGED! He vows to do everything he can to track Willow down and make the b!tch pay. Victor lashes out at Philip when he learns Philip slept with Willow and invited her into their home - making Claire a ripe picking to be her victim.
• Kate, Vivian, and Victor discuss the merger of Titan and Alamain International with Frankie. Frankie is confused as to why they want to do this…legally. All three flashback to how Vivian and Victor both have big secrets that can destroy the other’s company - Victor knows that Kate gave birth to Stefano Dimera’s twins over thirty five years ago and Vivian knows Victor started the fire that almost killed Caroline!
• Will blames himself for what has happened to his parents. He thinks if he did not come out of the closet and if he didn’t fall for Alan's lies, his parents would still be together and Lucas would still be in town. He begins drinking heavily.
• Meanwhile, Georgia flashes back to her modeling coach giving her a bottle of amphetamines to help her lose weight.
• Victor and Kate share a dance at the party. Later, outside, they share an unexpected kiss!
• Simone says a tearful and emotional goodbye with baby Roman. Carrie and Austin are moved to tears. They thank her for raising their son all this time and apologize that she is one of many victims of Sami. Simone says goodbye to the baby she has raised and wishes him the best of luck.
• Dr. Rae Choi tells Austin and Carrie she has big news regarding baby Roman’s health.
• Jack and Billie share awkwardness at the party. Jack tells Billie that he absolutely CANNOT continue this! He says they kissed, and it was stupid and no big deal. He apologizes, but he says they can’t let this ruin their friendship! He says he is grieving Jennifer’s death, and he needs his best friend, Billie, now more than ever!
• Kayla refuses to even look at Steve for what he has done! He tries to apologize, but she tells him to get out of her life…forever.
• Billie hugs Jack and accepts his apology. She then stuns him by asking a shocking question! Billie asks Jack to be her….MAN OF HONOR!
• Megan and Julie are mad to see Jack and Billie acting normal. They thought the awkwardness around Jack was the key to stopping the wedding! Julie says there is only one person who can stop Bo and Billie’s wedding - HOPE!
• Hope finally manages to escape her cell! She taps into her skills as a former police officer and manages to knock her guard unconscious! She searches for his keys in his pockets. She is shocked when she sees a tattoo of the Phoenix on the guard. “STEFANO!”
• Stefano and Kristen sip on red wine and talk about Marlena’s retirement party. Stefano tells her she has to set into motion a plan so Marlena learns either Eric or John’s secrets! He says this will continue Marlena on her downward spiral into insanity.
• Will sees Georgia’s pills pop out of her purse and fall to the ground. Will, who is blaming himself for everything that has happened to his parents, is drunk. He blurrily sees the label. Not knowing what they are, Will pops one of the pills and knocks it down with his glass of champagne that he has stolen and is secretly drinking.
• Carrie and Austin shock everyone when they enter Chez Rouge with their baby! Everyone is moved to tears at the sight of Carrie and Austin having their baby - a baby they once thought was dead - back in their arms and healthy.
• But unfortunately for them, the Fury is plotting the deaths of Austin and Carrie while he/she holds a bottle of pills and plans to poison them both!
• Hope finds the keys in the pocket of the guard. She is furious when she sees the tattoo and realizes she has been kidnapped by Stefano once more! She is confused as to why Megan Spears would kidnap her on Stefano’s behalf, but she says she’ll figure all of that out when she returns to Salem and reunites with Bo, Shawn, J.T., and Zach! Just then, the guard grabs Hope from behind. *FREEZE FRAME.*
