*SPECIAL NOTES*

  • The World Of Oakdale will be pre-empted Thursday, Nov. 23rd and Friday, Nov. 24th.
  • Sorry for the long episode. Don't get used to it, though. This long format just ain't my cup of tea ;)

Iva calls in the middle of the Snyder's Thanksgiving dinner and apologizes for not coming, saying that the kids are sick and she's coming down with something, too. Lily addresses the tension in the room and Emma denies that there is any as she and Lisa lock eyes. Holden excuses himself and says that he has an errand to run. No one knows that Holden has noticed he is missing his Worldwide safe access card. Emma stares as Grant and Lisa smooch and cuddle and do everything execpt "the deed" on her kitchen counter. Emma, disgusted, walks out for a breath of fresh air and Meg advises her mother to let it go and enjoy her holiday. Later...Dusty, Meg, and Nicole say goodbye again and head for Louisiana. Meanwhile, Lucinda and Lily go looking for Holden. As they help Emma clean up, Luke and Maddie wonder how Will and Gwen's Thanksgiving is going.

Barbara, Jennifer, Nick, Will, Gwen, and Johnny are all pleased when they receive a call from Paul, wishing them a happy holiday. Later, Will raises a toast to his and Gwen's happiness...as he announces in front of everyone, much to Gwen's chagrin, that he is now a married man. Barbara is livid and soon, the small family reunion is spoiled. Jennifer warns her mother not to mess things with Will up...or she'll never forgive herself. Barbara thanks Jennifer for coming and jokes that if Johnny wants to stay behind, she can FedEx him back to Paris in a few weeks. Will and Gwen get the 'okay' from Jennifer to return to the suite as Jennifer, Nick, and Johnny head home home for Paris.

Ben and Jessica brief Isaac, Bonnie, and Curtis on the recent events in Oakdale and Bonnie is shocked to hear that Lisa has a long lost granddaughter. Ben, Isaac and Curtis all have a man talk and before long, dinner is over. Ben and Jessica share goodbyes with the three and Bonnie promises to phone her mother a week before her due date.

Chris is shocked to see that Emily is with his half brother and calls her on it. Andy stands up for his love with Emily and Kim tells Andy to keep it down. Andy, in a once-in-a-lifetime scene, shouts that he could yell it from the rooftops! He's so in love with Emily Stewart!! Emily blushes and even tells Andy to quit making such a big deal out of it. Nancy thinks that Andy has a really romantic heart and later, shares a private conversation with him...during which she hands him something. Andy stand son top of the dinner table, in the middle of the turkey, dressing, cranberries...and tells the room of the way that he and Emily met all those years ago. Andy tells Emily that he would have never guessed in a million years that he would fall for her..but he did..head over heels. Andy jumps off the table and gets on one knee. While music from Rascal Flatts's "God Bless The Broken Road" cues up, Andy asks Emily if she will marry him. Kim faints. Roxie rolls her eyes and she and John quickly realize that they have their work cut out for them. A montage of Andy and Emily starts playing, but is soon interrupted when...

Panzico demands that Lyla hand over the money to make up for the big diamond heist he had planned that Lyla squealed about. When Lyla refuses, he tightens his grip on Katie and threatens her life again. Lyla lunges for Panzico and Katie breaks free. Just as Panzico raises up his gun, Katie take off running to step in front of Lyla. Panzico fires his gun as Jack tackles him from the side. Mike runs for Katie. Katie trips on the root of a tree buried in the ground and goes flying, eventually landing and hitting her head on the exact same branch. Katie lies unconcious as Mike tearfully begs Katie to come back to him. Though she's not, Mike starts to think that Katie's dead and screams "NNNOOOO!!!".

Out on a split screen of Jack arresting Panzico, Margo and Lyla clutched together in tears and fear, and Mike with an unconcious Katie.

I'm simply amazed at how different TWOO is from ATWT. I know you have been writing for longer than most of the other blogs, maybe yours is the oldest? Either you or King? Everyone's blogs are different from the real shows, but most of the cast is the same. Not TWOO. You have so many new faces. I love it! You have truly made this show your own, and I hope to do that soon with ADGB.

Great job on today's episode! Holiday episodes are always so fun to write!

Awesome! This is what should have been on the show. Taking time out to celebrate the holiday, but also having the storylines make some kind of progress. I loved it!
