JASON47 CELEBRATES "DAYS" 48TH ANNIVERSARY WITH RELEASE OF EPISODES # 3, 4 AND 5!
In celebration of the 48th anniversary of "Days of Our Lives" next week, episodes 3 (11/10/65), 4 (11/11/65) and 5 (11/12/65) are available for viewers to see for the first time since their original airings 48 years ago. Episode 3 was released last week, with Episode 4 being released today. Check the site late next week for Episode 5. MELISSA REEVES LEADS RANKINGS FOR JUST 10TH TIME IN "DAYS" CAREER: Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) led the October rankings, marking the 10th time she has been in front (6/90, 9/90, 11/90, 1/91, 3/91, 4/91, 6/91, 2/13, 3/13, 10/13). Kate Mansi (Abigail), who was tied for the lead, led for just the 2nd time in her "Days" career (6/13, 10/13).

According to my math here's a few changes in actor & character ranking for October!

1) In October James Scott has now appeared in more episodes than Mary Beth Evans. With James Scott's 1313 appearances he passes Mary Beth Evans' 1303 appearances to become the 27th most appearing actor in the show's history and bump Mary Beth Evans down to 28th.

2) In October the character of Nicole Walker has now officially passed TWO other characters to move the character of Nicole Walker up to the 22nd most appearing character in Days history. With her 1839 appearances, Nicole passes the character of Shawn D. Brady (1838 episodes) and the character of Bill Horton (1829 episodes) Nicole bumps Shawn D. and Bill down to 23rd and 24th respectively in the ranking of most appearing character in the show's history.

3) Lastly, in the month of October the character of Kristen DiMera has now appeared in more episodes than the character of Will Horton (at least for now). Kristen's 1077 episodes now make her the 42nd most appearing character in Days history, bumping Will Horton (and his 1071 episodes) down to the 43rd most appearing character.

Thanks as always for the updates!! I'm too busy to update the "overall totals, 1965-2012" page more than once a year, so look for the new totals for everyone (1965-2013) around early January!

I was hoping to have time before the end of the year to add in any errors that I find once I do the final tallies for 2000-2006, but I don't know if I'll have time to do that. If not, those corrections will be added to the overall page later in 2014. By the end of 2014, however, the numbers for everyone should be as accurate as ever, since by then all of my original numbers will have verified for any errors I made through the years (forgetting to list a person for a certain airdate, or sometimes accidentally listing someone as airing in an episode when they didn't).

Well the work you do is MUCH more extensive than what I do, so that is totally understandable I only keep track of actors and characters who have appeared in at least 1000 episodes (based off of your info) or those characters/actors who are anywhere getting close to 1000 episodes. If I get into characters/actors who appear in less than 1000 episodes it gets way to extensive for me! haha. Thant's why I appreciate your work and dedication so much!
