Members ChitHappens Posted January 3, 2016 Members Share Posted January 3, 2016 Really good movie, and once again, Cate Blanchett elevates mediocre material. Kyle Chandler was great too. The movie didn't go the usual predictable route and it wasn't about a man punishing his wife for being gay. He was doing everything in his power to get her back. Not the cliche of discovering she was gay and finding a lover. She was gay during the entire marriage and tried to conform. The Oscar is going to go to either Cate or Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl). I just love Cate Blanchett. There's nothing she can't do! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
