RIP.

I was never a fan of his or his entire genre. Just listening to that clip of him and Judy Collins singing This Land Is Your Land reminds me how annoying the whole preachy, messagy this music can be and of course it has to be sung during periods of civil strife to make it extra important.

Well he had some other songs that were more entertaining, less about message (they weren't his but he helped revive them), like The Midnight Special, Guatenemara, etc.
