January 12, 200620 yr Member Anybody who can tell me what to do, thank you. I am flying to New York next weekend to visit a friend. I have just realized that my driver's license has expired, and I am worried that I will not be allowed on to the plane. I will go get my license renewed this week, but I know that it takes more than a week sometimes for them to send you the new one in the mail. Do you think I should ask for some sort of "temporary license" when I go have my picture taken? I just don't want to get to the airport and be told that I can't board the plane.

January 12, 200620 yr Member Shane, you can get your ID the same day. It usually takes a week or more to get a registration for a vehicle. Have fun in NY
