The Paley Center in NYC will be hosting a farwell tribute to ATWT on August 18 at 6:30pm with many of the stars in attendance (as they did last year for GL). I am a member of the Paley Center...I went last year to the GL Tribute and I have my tickets for the ATWT event. In fact, I have an extra ticket if anyone would like to get in touch with me and join my group. Member prices for tickets - $15. General public tickets are $20, but they won't go on sale until August 6.

      I know the later Phil Brent (Martin West) best from his infamous role in John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 - the deranged, grief-stricken father who attacks the local gang and spurs the siege of the local police station which the movie is centered around. He spends most of the film incoherent and babbling. I think he must've done it right after GH.

      Wow. That's a big one. I just rewatched Good Morning the other day. Ozu's work has so much to teach us still, and a lot of resemblance to soap.
