GH: Whatever Became of...

I remember back when I was a faithful viewer of the show in the 1980's one of the saddest events was the day poor Tanya Roskov Jones was run over by an auto and then tearfully died after saying goodbye to her family and friends. In her honor, there was a big recurring storyline in which her friends, family, and colleagues opened the Tanya Jones Daycare Center on the first floor of the hospital (if I'm not mistaken I think Lucy Coe was running the facility at one time). Whatever became of the place? Perhaps if Satan's spawn Michael Corinthos (Quartermaine) had been enrolled there he might not now be in a coma... ;)

If you watch NightShift, the DayCare center is listed on a board that lists the departments by floor. It was seen in the first episode of NS2.

Really? I honestly can't believe it! I gave up on the program masquareding as GENERAL HOSPITAL a few years ago, and I would never in a million years have thought the daycare was still around. Perhaps there is a shred of hope left for the show...LOL
