Kelly Rowland Collapses Onstage in Nigeria

Kelly Rowland collapsed onstage early Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria, where she had been performing.

Dehydration was the cause, her rep, Yvette Noel Schure, said in a statement.

Rowland was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital for a check-up and was reported to be in "good condition."

The former Destiny's Child star, 26, recently released her second solo album and was in the West African nation as part of The ThisDay Music Festival. She's expected to return to the U.S. on Monday to continue the publicity tour for her Ms. Kelly album.

According to ThisDay organizers, performers besides Rowland also included Shakira, Mode Nine, UB40, P-Square, Rihanna, D'Banj, Ne Yo Asa and Sasha.
