The Terminator: It'll Be Back — As a New TrilogyThe Halcyon Co., a privately financed shingle, has ponied up tens of millions of dollars for franchise rights to the Terminator film series, Reuters reports. The plan is to immediately commence preproduction on Terminator 4 with an eye on an early-2009 release, and to serve as the first entry in what will be a new trilogy. Though an existing script for No. 4 was part of the deal, no talent or distributor is yet on board.

Well if they must do this, I really hope this one takes place in the future. It would be great if they could get arnold/linda back, because linda held down the acting and arnold held down the action, but I have a feeling its not gonna happen. It was inevitable that the machines would take over, but it wasn't inevitable that they could be stopped. If they can get arnold/linda back this movie could be great.

Oh, I so agree. I thought there was mention of Arnold doing a new Terminator even though he is a governor. Linda and Arnold made the series work.
