it's not hard to lie when you're a sociopath, and Pence is a sociopath. I haven't seen that many say Kaine won. I've seen more trying to hype Pence as their latest daddy figure. I imagine republicans will glom onto him as the new republican hope. It will work into their delusions that if only a real conservative would come along they'd win. Let them pick Pence, because all that will happen is is first his Jesus BS will turn half the country off, and then his anti-gay policies will turn off young people. He's damaged goods except they don't see it yet. It's 2016, you are not going to become president being openly anti-gay and trying to sell it as religious freedom. Except for the religious whack jobs, nobody believes that. That's why the NBA pulled out of whichever Carolina that was with the bathroom bill. The conservatives lost the culture wars, they just can't admit it in the mirror yet. The Koch brothers love him. That should tell anyone all they should know. The state of Indiana wants him gone. His smooth demeanor hasn't fooled anyone including those women forced by law to have funerals for their fetuses. And Indiana like Wisconsin is at the very bottom now with job creation. Wisconsin used to be in the top 10.

That's the moment IMO he and WikiLeaks lost any credibility and so called "aspiration for the greater good". He's a fake and opportunist and if what happened today doesn't show people no clue what will. I honestly believe the fact no one, not even Trump's fanbase seemed to give a crap that Clinton allegedly threatened to drone him, probably had something to do with today. I think his self importance and ego thought people would really give a crap. Now he acts like Clinton's BFF.

Not that Assange hasn't been off the deep-end but this reminds me of Trumps birther press conference where he conned the press. Maybe he's realizing that most people know he's in bed with Putin now. The release of the Panama Papers with the Putin stuff stripped out should have been a clue. Or how he exposed those innocent Turkish women and Saudi rape victims and gays for the "greater good" signing their death sentences. Or just maybe he got spooked because no one not even his "alt right" friends here gave a crap about Clinton wanting to drone him(well not really). Whatever he might or might not release, he's discredited. He's threatened for months to release stuff and nothing. It's amazing how quickly his downfall has escalated. What was once a somewhat noble effort has turned into his own personal toy to use at his whims. Good riddance and I hope he ends up in prison in Sweden at some point for that rape.

Just an FYI WikiLeaks is dumping a bunch of anti Clinton stuff at around 3am I guess so prepare yourself. We will see.

Crap that's even worse.

What's going on is that a lot of the press is remembering what made them want to be journalists to begin with. Also, Trump humiliated them with his birther conference and that was the last straw. Do you think LeBron's endorsement is going to have any impact on Ohio? And why does Trump have the support of so many union workers particularly since all of this stuff is made outside of the US and now this steel story.

He just gave a speech in Colorado and bragged about his brilliant knowledge of the tax codes that allowed him to not pay taxes and how he's the best one to fix them.

I'm not even sure anyone other than the usual suspects is going to take anything dropped by Assange with any credibility. Roger Stone the wacky right wing conspiracy nutjob has bragged about working with Assange and the Russians, Assange himself has threatened for 8 weeks about dropping info on linking Obama and Clinton to arming ISIS. So far nada. And I agree, he would have dropped what he had to distract from what is still a major distraction. I haven't seen one person talking about the recent WikiLeaks drop anywhere. On a side note at a town hall this AM in Virginia Trump said another gem on vet suicide: “they see things…a lot of folks in this room see & you’re strong & you can handle it, but some ppl can’t handle it.” And someone explain again why any military person is supporting him.

LMAO In reality world 1. Apparently the ground game for the RNC is non existent and they are practically broke 2. WikiLeaks cancelled their drop citing "Security reasons". But they did drop something today that included a quote from Clinton jokingly saying about Assange "Can't we just drone him". Like people are going to be outraged by this. I used to think Assange was doing a service until those drops exposing those Turkish women and Saudi innocents and his recent drops about Syrian money exchanges between Russia and Assad where they allegedly "lost" the emails that showed the money going directly to Russia. Assange has let it go to his head and is now using it to fabricate issues to take down people he doesn't like rather than exposing real troubling information. 3. The Apprentice crew is coming out talking about how Trump harassed them. 4. And speculation. Marla Maples was the one who possibly leaked the 95 tax returns and if so no legal issues at all as her name is on the returns also. Remember she left Trump and he threatened to cut off her alimony so this could be sweet revenge. Plus she was apparently in NY the last week in Sept so the timing could be right. Yeah they kind of lost a lot of credibility when they got on their high horse along with the MSM and led this country in a war that should have never happened. One who's damage still permeates. I don't even really care that they hate the Clinton's but their fair and balanced reporting is a joke. They turned into a hit squad with the Clinton Foundation stuff which turned into a load of nothing. And in the midst tried to discredit a foundation that has actually helped millions around the world yet stay mum on the Trump Foundation stuff. No one is looking for a Clinton love fest just fairness and maybe some guts, of which they have none.

That's what happens when you isolate yourself with Fox News and Breitbart people. Georgia is close to going blue. It's one of those states that's lost white residents and continued to diversify particularly in the higher populated areas. I read(correct me NBA) that they actually have a fairly large and growing Asian population also. I read Kasim Reed met with the DNC leadership and Clinton's team recently to get support to helping to flip it as they feel the potential votes are there.

I'm not kidding myself in regards to anything. I'm pretty sure he didn't pay any taxes and it honestly isn't any of my business. I think this whole brouhaha is a media controversy at its core. I don't care if it's democrats or republicans I rarely see the need to see someone else's taxes. The whole public has a right to now thing Is just bs that the media has concocted and hidden behind for ages. And it would be so nice to have a reasonable conservative voice around here. Even if it's just to debate tax policy and economics. The taxes are more about transparency, conflict of interest, and validation of some financial stability. You may not personally be interested, but it's one common element we all have that can be looked at to at least partially validate those things. Mitt Romney got criticized for his low tax rate but I don't think much else and honestly I had no gripe with it myself. But when someone sells their key expertise as being successful in business as one of their assets in being president, than I don't believe reviewing their tax returns is a huge demand. Particularly when many already know his shady business history, and what he himself has said about "freeloaders(the 47 percent). Plus there should be concerns about his business interests in terms of interacting with foreign countries. His coziness with Russia is still very shady IMO and likely lies with financial backing he got from there which we really don't know much about. And it's common practice for the last 40 years and he was all over Romney 4 years ago for not releasing his until he did.

No what it means is they didn't have anything. I'm still waiting for all those emails showing Hillary and the POTUS funding ISIS that Assange said were coming in August then in Sept. I am still of the belief they have nothing and are waiting for info from their Putin hackers. WikiLeaks has become Assange's personal grievance tool. After he released the names of those Turkish women, I lost all respect I had for him if I ever had any.

WikiLeaks doesn't hack they disclose info others get. THe DNC stuff was a lot of nothing as was the foundation stuff. Stone basically admitted he and Assange are potentially working to manufacture. He's a huge conspiracy theorist and just blamed our CIA director for making up the Russian break ins to election info. And Assange has been blowing for months on having info. Where is it? My guess is he's been hoping the Russian trolls with their hacking would find something. Ah ok. I am hoping Wednesday comes and goes and if nothing is revealed, things will continue to look upward. But if there is something, I don't think it's anything major, but I think it will be presented like it is. Meanwhile, Trump had his own 50 percent gaffe and recently grabbed a female reporter's wrist and silence from the media. At least they are reporting the latest (I assume so anyway). They have tried making that comment from the audio by HRC a story and it went no where. She actually said nothing wrong and you even have Bernie supporters who don't like HRC coming out and supporting it. Sanders this morning on CNN with Jake Tapper make him look like a fool. He said "you're trying to make a non story a story when we have evidence of what we've been saying all along about how the rich don't pay taxes? And Trump's tax plan continues to favor those same people. I think your focus is misdirected." Of course Tapper is basically a male hair model anyway. But didn't the foundation story with the Huma's emails hurt her? I don't think the media even came close to covering Trump's foundation the way they did hers. IMO, the supposed surprise could go either way. Not a big deal like the Bernie audio or somewhat of a big deal like the foundation. I think the media had every right to investigate but once nothing was discovered, they should have let it go, and they didn't. Hurt her how. She got a huge bounce from the convention that was never going to last, she never fell behind Trump in the polls so? I think the fact is(PLEASE READ @PROPANE_JANE and not the MSM talking points) is if you follow Sam Wang(not Nate Silver this election) you find his methodology shows very little swing. What HRC has that is not not going to change and will support her are the democrats yes even the whiney Bernie supporters and same with Trump. HIs numbers will not change because his supporters are the SAME VOTERS WHO VOTED FOR ROMNEY. Actually a tad less. As long as democrats turn out(and we've already seen democrats killing the GOP in early voting) she's going to win and win easily. I'm no longer going to allow myself to get stressed over what might be that will never happen or the MSM talking points which still wants it to be a horserace. I have to say once I stopped checking out Nate Silver, I was a lot less stressed. Obviously, I am still worried, but not as much as I was before. I came across Propane_Jane's account awhile back but just started visiting again after it was mentioned here. Also, Obama's 2012 campaign manager tweeted to stop panicking; that she's going to win, so that's another positive. Plouffe as part of Obama's hidden secret his data team. Clinton's is even better and she has a lot of the same people including the genius behind it. I put my money on their numbers vs data polls. Their team predicted Obama's win by 5000 votes. Polls underestimated Obama's lead. Things to be worried about. Russian's trying to tamper with our elections and voter suppression like what is happening in Wisconsin as we speak.

So far Assange ain't got [!@#$%^&*]. Yeah I am still waiting for those emails confirming Clinton and Obama armed ISIS. He's been promising to release those for 2 months. They might have something but I expect it to be as ineffective as the DNC stuff was which really did nothing. And Stone was babbling the other day about Brennan being bought off because the entire idea of Russia tampering with our election is a fabrication by Clinton aided by everyone tied to Obama.

On a side note, Roger Stone is tweeting the #WikiLeaks stuff on Clinton coming on Wed and damaging. Of course it could be a deflection because this guy is the king of conspiracy theories. But he also claims he's working directly with Assange.

I don't even get the logic here. The issues with Brexit are not the same, this country has a much more diverse population than ours. But rather than bringing in a Xenophobe why not bring in a debate coach to help him keep focus on the issues he might be able to make points on. His campaign frankly is way out of tune, not that I am stating anything not obvious, but this is a real head scratcher. Well Farage is kind of a pariah now in the UK so maybe he volunteered to get out of the country.

If I sound condescending forgive me but I was where you were at. So I decided to channel my frustration through volunteering and trying to make a point of getting a better handle on how supporters really feel. I actually took @propane_jane's suggestions(follow her and read her stuff I beg you) and started paying attention to sources other than the same MSM talking points. It was a change and frankly uplifting. Are there concerns absolutely. And I don't think anything ends with the election. In fact it's probably going to be harder. But I am hopeful that there are enough good people, and yes I do think there are many of us white people who may not understand minority issues entirely, but who do respect and appreciate diversity and know what it represents and will work hard to help bridge that gap. Maybe I am too hopeful and optimistic, but I want to believe that there are still enough good decent people in this country to make a difference.

But Carl with what you're saying, you're repeating again MSM talking points. There have been record numbers of Latinx registrants this election, and it spiked even more with the Ms. Universe stuff. Trump's connections in Cuba has outraged Little Havana in Miami. Follow Ana Navarro. He likely lost Florida with that. Texas will likely turn purple this election. No one talks about that and that doesn't sound like voter apathy. I don't disagree with you on some things, but I do think you are underestimating voters. You want to revert back to GWB, a different election, different demographic makeup, and a candidate who won because he got 44% of the Latino vote. Was there a huge amount of enthusiasm in that election? Not that I recall. I do recall the MSM pushing GWB and Gore blowing it by not leveraging Clinton's popularity. HRC has not made that same mistake. Is she a flawed candidate absolutely and she'd be in real danger if a Marco Rubio was running(not that I have any love for him) but he comes across at least normalized. I don't mean to sound preachy, but you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't pay attention to BET or Telemundo or other media that doesn't sound like what all of us are used to hearing. I finally started paying attention to Latinx and AA radio and the talking points and lack of enthusiasm continually being brought up are not something I am hearing. Maybe they are wrong in their assessment of their own communities. But ask yourself who runs Politico. And that article they just published about the audio that was leaked there was nothing wrong or hurtful in anything HRC said. Maybe she sounded elitist, but it wasn't a slam on millinials. You wouldn't know that from Politico's headline.

No you have no trust in democratic voters. The same coalition of Blacks, Latinx, and Women who helped get Bill Clinton and Obama elected, will again save the panicked white voters from themselves. And there are more of us. No, I have no trust in voters as a whole. To pick and choose random groups would just insult them and treat them as tokens to use or throw away. There are a lot of voters who are smart and who work hard, but there have been so many times that other voters, through apathy or stupidity, ruin it for all the rest. I hope this time won't be the same but it's hard to forget so many previous elections. No you have no credit in democratic voters. I may be showing my bias, but people act like this group of people supporting Trump is some new group of voters who have taken over. WRONG. These are the same dimwits who have been conned into voting against their own best interests for the last 35 years. Clinton got elected in all fairness because some of those people woke up for a time and voted for Perot, someone who actually had business knowledge and was well intentioned and flawed in his own ways but spoke to what concerned many at the time. Clinton got re-elected because times were good despite the ugliness in his background. I think you're naïve to believe that this base of voters has changed somehow and that there are more haters and uninformed people. There aren't. And these people believe what's on Fox and Breitbart because they want to. And no I don't believe in general there are enough of those people. Maybe I'm wrong but I saw this same argument from many when Obama ran. And if you don't want to discount voters, please don't start on the lack of enthusiasm by AA voters. You would be wrong about that.

I really don't know how anyone would believe that. All this stuff has been was in the public eye in the 90's and you have to show me where any of this hurt her. And from a man who has a pending rape case coming of a 14 year old child? You believe what you do I guess. The Clinton's have been drug up and down for years and are still standing. I don't excuse a lot of Bill Clinton's actions but no way will I blame that on the wife. Anyone reading this and thinking this is not delusional I don't know what to say. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/01/us/politics/donald-trump-interview-bill-hillary-clinton.html GOP leadership is begging the man to let this stuff go because THEY remember and it was not just about Lewinsky. People who think this is going to really damage Clinton, who has dealt with this stuff for years, I don't know if I can say anything else.
