Ya'll see Cynthia finally decided to end her marriage to Papa Smurf? I wonder what he'll do to get a peach now.

That damn vid of him all up in some girls face had me in tears. I felt bad for Cynthia but the recorder's facial expression was just too funny. I think she truly loved him but he was just using her... now if only she can reunite with Leon or at least someone better than Peter. -

LOL! His show has Heather Locklear too.
So... I guess Ava couldn't direct all of the episodes as it was initially planned but like a BOSS, she's hand-picked some pretty awesome women to direct the other episodes. I guess this is the breakdown of how it will go.The directors of Queen Sugar
Ep 01 & 02 - Ava DuVernay
Ep 03 - Neema Barnette
Ep 04 - So Yong Kim
Ep 05 - Victoria Mahoney
Ep 06 - Tanya Hamilton
Ep 07 - Neema Barnette
Ep 08 & 09- Kat Candler
Ep 10 & 11 - Salli Richardson
Ep 12 & 13 Tina Mabry -
He better. Because it is TRULY sad when you see the production style of both Greenleaf and Queen Sugar and then you... just have... Tyler Perry comedies and dramas... ... ... ... ... Yeah.
EXACTLY Khan! I was thinking, Oprah ain't playing! She is coming out strong and heavy hittin' a la the great Ali. -

They FINALLY released the trailer for the highly anticipated series from Ava DuVernay & Oprah Winfrey, Queen Sugar... last night during the premiere for Greenleaf. I am so ready for this show, Thanks to Ang (ChitHappens).for telling me about this back when the GL thread was initially started. I'm going to try and read the book before the series starts this fall. This is ALSO not from Tyler Perry and the (I keep using this phrase) visually stunning trailer shows you that.
If the video from FaceBook doesn't work, then click here. -
Beautifully said Cheap. And I get what you mean now, especially with your first paragraph. I just wish he could watch some other hour long shows to show him that you don't need to be repetitive to fill up an hour which in retrospect is mainly 44 minutes, because you have to factor in the commercials.

Wyatt dead? That's kinda sad because he's super hot. But I wonder if some of these people eventually want out of this crappy show because they can't take the dialogue. I mean TPs writing for his plays and movies is nowhere near as bad as his television shows. I just don't get it.
Good that Thirsty is dead because I really could not take her and her thirst for that man.
I too questioned that scene Cheap. I happened to tune in at that moment when he had her against the fence and I was wondering if he was in the act of raping her or not. -

Last night was AMAZINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG! I am loving Grey's post Patrick Dempsey and it only took 11 years for this to happen!
Man, the anxiety coming off of Meredith and the sounds they were using for her were just amazing. Ellen did the damn thing with this episode.
I did feel bad for Penny, I felt bad for her in her initial episode and I felt bad for her last night. She was not the sole person that "killed" Derek, that was a team effort and she wasn't the only one. She was just more empathetic and shouldered the blame. She should have pushed harder for a CT but even with one I don't think he would have made it because they had to wait for the damn neurosurgeon who couldn't be bothered because he was at dinner.
I loved Alex and how attuned he was to Mer and how erratic her behavior became after Callie and Penny showed up. He had me in tears when Mer closed the door on Callie and he leaned over to mouth Sorry to her.
Drunk Arizona was a hoot.
Kepner was the voice of reason, which was sad because they all had to have realized that they have had a Derek Sheppard on their hands at one point or another and definitely more than once. Sure their patient wasn't a brilliant neurosurgeon with the capability of healing the world, but they were someone's loved one and that person died while in their hands. But I do get Mer's and Amelia's anger and I loved that Mer still told her to show up on Monday and judging by the previews there's going to be a sh!tstorm but at the same time I can see Meridith doing all this to push her to become a better doctor so that what happened at Dillard will hopefully not happen again while on her watch and give her the voice she needs to push for what she believes to be right. -

I really enjoyed this episode and I'm enjoying this season!
Jerrika/Stephanie knocked it out the park this episode! You could tell that she was uncomfortable with the care for the patient so I knew something had to have gone down in her past. But I love how she eventually, in a way, became her mother and helped.encouraged the patient to reach the chair even if she had to hit her to do it, she would be by her side helping her get better.
Wilson continues to be the absolute worst. I mean I get that Steph used white lies in the opening to get her labs and results rushed.... I found that downright funny, but you can't help that she thought it up and didn't try to capitalize and do the same. I mean, if she sat there and thought that story up in a New York Minute (as Wilson believed) then slow clap. But she should have simply asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
I loved Richard just telling Amelia that the story was true and then saying after all the hours, days and surgeries you've spent with Edwards, how can you go on the word of someone you hardly knew? That was such a mic drop moment.
Mer's speech about talking to someone and breaking the news that they have gone from wife/husband to widow/widower was beautiful and really tied in with that episode from last season when she told that Dr. how Derek will stick with her for the remainder of her life, just as she'll stick with Mer. But that fricking ending.,.. WOW! -
Denzel to direct a pair of episodes. I thought he would have did HTGAWM before this since his play connection with Viola.

They've changed networks like 4 times in Canada. It should've ended years ago.
I really hope they bring back some of the older characters. We don't have to have them in any in-depth story lines but I'd like to see them again. I know Drake/Aubrey Graham would NEVER. LOL!
If you say you want the old Drake, maybe we'll tempt him.

We get a new cast member on TWD.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
in NBC | Peacock
Cat! Your damn sig makes me laugh every single time I see it!
Aww Thanks -- I never read her but I was looking at it like O_O and then I looked at the photo and saw that it was Leon in "Like A Prayer." I think they'd be so hot on the show. I liked all the times he would pop up on ATL in her segments.
