The last time the world championships were canceled was 1961 - 50 years ago when the entire U.S. world team, along with coaches, family members, officials and judges were killed in a plane crash en route to the championships in Prague.

Yes tonight is the night when I see Rise - just saw a story on the Today Show about the movie and 1961 skaters tragedy - the weather is suppose to be nice today so I am glad and excited about tonight!!
