  1. I remember rumors that Adrienne Frantz had been cast as Jennifer Foster when she left B&B in 2005.
  2. I'm interested to know what people thought about the Nikki/Josh/Veronica story, which remains my all-time favorite Y&R story to this day. Candice Daly was genuinely terrifying and the scene where she shot Nikki at the ranch was without question the creepiest thing I have ever seen on a soap opera. Unfortunately, MAB attempts a story like it at least once a year and fails every time (although Meggie wasn't without her charm).
  3. *prays it's better than Circus*
  4. ITA. The constantly changing cast was a big part of the reason I stopped watching in the first place. It might not be as bad if the new additions COULD ACT. Most of the younger cast members on the show now are dreadful. Lincoln Lewis (Geoff), Charlotte Best (Annie) and Jordan Rodrigues (Jai) are PAINFUL to watch. It's such a shame, considering they used to have talented actors like Chris Egan, Bec Hewitt, Beau Brady, Tammin Sursok, Ben Unwin... Although, Todd Lasance (Aden) is pretty good. He'll probably make it big overseas some day. The writers have totally rewritten Kirsty. Her marriage has been over for all of four weeks, and already she's cracking onto that toad Miles! A few years ago she NEVER would have given up on Kane so easily. ITA. And I don't think they ever will again.
  5. I recently started watching again because of Kirsty and I don't miss Sally at all. She was the Christine Blair of H&A, IMO - highly overrated.
  6. Kane & Kirsty were my absolute favorite soap couple of all time. Sure, he raped her sister, but Kirsty redeemed him. The family was on Dani's side (and so began my hatred for Dani Sutherland, despite my love for her portrayer). It was a classic Romeo & Juliet storyline. KK just had that "it" factor, IMO, that no other soap couple has ever quite lived up to (although Nick & Phyllis come close).
  7. I am loving Christie Hayes' return as Kirsty. That's the only reason I watch now. It sucks that they split her up with Kane, but I'm glad she's back.
