Interesting what appeals to us. Personally a roaring fire with snow falling outside a cabin is the most romantic thing I can think of or beach house on a rocky cliff side by the ocean. A peaceful beach just doesn't do it.

Totally OT…. I just saw on FB that my Grad School - GRADUATE EDUCATION - is encouraging it's students to take part in an Undergrad University's writing clinic. Graduate studies, ya know, one level below Ph.D. and they are being encouraged to take courses from a clinic that's teaching junior high school grammar to Bachelor students because they didn't learn it in GRADE 8 like they should have. I am appalled.

I know Sweetie, that's why I posted "Not PG" on the thread, so you'd know going in it wasn't to your liking. You can put me solidly in the category of NOT believing the GF rumours or associated story. How many times have we heard that and it's still only on DD. Ottawa is one of the best places in the country, I'm told, and because it's still Ontario the laws are the same - which means they don't know we exist. I like that. And no, no dates yet. We should get that information within the next 2 weeks. We've heard the Ottawa office is losing yet another Officer, so they are really desperate to get him. It's all about money and how they want to spend it. We told the kids yesterday, so that's one hurdle behind us. But not knowing is really hard. Do I pack, do I invest more in Toronto…. someone PLEASE give me something definitive. I can be ready to go in a week if I had to, I just want something concrete.
