I suspect LuNacy is as "safe" as any couple on the show. For one they are the only Vet couple anywhere, for two who else would they be paired with?, and three GW did them justice like we've never really seen before or since except briefly in Helena's dungeon and at their wedding. Except for a few lone LnLhardliners who will cry out forever, there isn't any real desire/need to have either Luke or Tracy paired with anyone else. It's the younger Spencers who are going to be dickered with long before LuNacy is even threatened. As stable couples go on GH, LuNacy is sound. If it wasn't for TG's vacation schedule (which by definition means it doesn't drive more story for Luke) they would probably be even more stable.

Ironic, of course, because if these people truly Valued Family they would see to it that children had their medical and dietary needs met, parents had employment that could sustain their families, education would be more balanced, recreation wouldn't be limited to the "haves", and the list could go on. The truth is there isn't a politician alive in either of our countries trying to pull the "Family Values" card who actually values anyone else's family but their own, and it's merely a euphemism for doing things their way only. The whole term angers me greatly and again refuses to deal with the real issues. If Edwards did do what he's accused of, the only difference between him and another politician is that he got caught.

But Baby Boy, that house hasn't really been used. It was GV/Lucky's house - it hasn't been JJ/Lucky's house since he grew up. In fact that set was retired and changed to SB ages ago (and only resurrected with the ill-conceived "Laura wakes up" thing in '06). We also don't know if the whole house is going or if it's just Lucky's reaction. The loss of the Webber/Scorpio house was plain stupid and a useless plot-point, but if Lucky is setting fire to the LnL house as a statement or protest, I want to see what happens and what he's trying to do. This entire story seems to be Lucky trying to still wrestle with the Spencer family the way it is vs. the way he wants it to be.

This I will never get about American political interests - who gives a f*ck who they f*ck? The right wing in your country is obsessed with bedroom antics. But you recently had a president who lied to the world, invaded other countries using that lie, and killd countless thousands of Americans and others while lining the pockets of his oil buddies, but NO ONE thinks he deserves to be investigated? Backwards IMO. The neo-cons have used political money for a lot worse, why aren't they called on it? We are investigating them up here on a regular basis and KNOW we haven't even scratched the surface of misappropriation. But when a politician is having an affair….. actualy we don't care. We never know when a politician has had an affair…. Except a Trudeau, then someone writes a book about it.

I don't think any of us can jump to conclusions about anything at this point. Every story is written with an implicit "and then what",and this isn't the first time TG's summer exit has people wondering if it's the end of Tracy/LuNacy. Wait and see is always the way to approach this. With so much up in the air behind the scenes I think anything is possible - both negative AND positive.

Ugh. I knew about CC and wasn't thrilled, and couldn't care less about LS. But the DH2 ate the show like the Unholy Trinity eats GH, so that's not good news. If Magic doesn't start to surge I'm just going to drop the whole thing. Yeah, we're in our house. Today the unpackers took the last of the boxes away and I'm now starting to get room organized. It's going to be awhile but its great fun. I was up at 2:30 AM just getting books and toys put in their places. I already have plans for painting and finishing up things as I go. Its all good fun and much more interesting that what is on TV!

I see in daily spoilers that Luke/TG is still around. Now it makes more sense. I couldn't see the story being successful as it was - the After School Special with Rehab being the ultimate conclusion - and just an empty "Luke skips town" would have been a waste of everything they had done. Now I'm actually interested.

Sh!t. Oh well - I was hoping wiser minds prevailed. Luke is not this much of an a$$hole. I am not anywhere near a TV nor Internet so I really have no idea what is happening. Spoilers - as usual - are conflicting and misleading. We are supposed to get our new house today but we haven't heard back about the key exchange yet. Here's hoping the next time I post it's from the comfort of my living room.

So TraLu was cut finding out Luke skipped town? That's great and means that they might be taking this story in a better direction. Luke bailing is a Guza's speciality and Wolfe might see this with more meaningful story for the Spencers. I realize that lack of Tracy wears, but it isn't always a bad thing. BTW we have arrived in Ottawa and it's hot! We are supposed to get the keys tomorrow (for some reason the landlords aren't available to guarantee a time) and the Internet people and movers should arrive. Won't have cable to watch GH so I will be counting on clips and YT.

Movers are here so I have a little time to catch up. Funny, I not altogether convinced the writers have made Luke an alcoholic. Drinking too much for sure, but this whole "Luke has a problem" has been lead by Lucky who doesn't want to deal with the fact that Luke acidentally killed Jake. I'm hoping when he returns we will find him in a different place having got the grieving help he needs but strong enough to accept he wrestled with his demons of his own father and has come out the other side. They can't give us a dry Luke - that would kill the character. NP spoke to that very point in his most recent interview and having this be "Luke the Alcoholic" is too easy an out.

Has Luke skipped out or is it just assumed he's skipped out. Moving: packers here tomorrow, movers take everything on Monday, we fly to Ottawa on Tuesday, get the house on Wednesday and our stuff arrives either Wednesday or Thursday.

There is also some suggestion that the new HW at Days will be ruining Magic. If they do then I could potentially be soap free.

Dismantling my house today. I know now why they had barn and house bees in the olden days. Something valuable has definitely been lost in our Modern Myopia.

I loved the passion in the kisses, but this picture was the one that I found most touching. For all the drama, LuNacy has always been the most real-to-life couple on GH.

They said specifically today that it's only a 30 day rehab. Do we have dates on when Lante is looking for Luke in Florida? That still takes us to the end of June, which is the usual time for TG to be off canvas. End of May is really early.

But to be fair we don't know if A- it was a set-up, B- Luke was seriously trying to bribe him, or C- Luke was trying to retain face in what will be a struggle. It could have gone any of those ways and we will have to see tomorrow.

It was a beautiful LuNacy scene and I'm so glad it was Tracy he asked to take him to rehab rather than the rumoured Lucky - his WIFE should be the one to see him through this. But you're right about us being in withdrawal so anything seems like manna.

I think the only thing we can be assured of is that somethings are going to change, so keep the faith Baby Boy, and remember GW has to not only include Bobbie but he has to give a plausible reason why she's been missing form all sorts of significant family events these past two years.

I really didn't. I think she's someone I've grown to really appreciate, but on the surface her characters didn't work for me. I know it's because Anjelica, Cynthia and Tracy all reminded me of my r/l Auntie Joyce and Aunt Barb. Way too close for comfort. Now as someone much older I can truly appreciate the power of the bitch.

I have never had any use for GF - not on GH, not AMC, not Days…. not even North and South. Overrated all the way around IMO. Now JE I didn't have any use for until LuNacy. Sometimes it is all in the pairings not the actors themselves.
