You know we disagree on the Paul!Hair. It was longer and kind of bouncy and just pretty (IMO of course). We do agree on the BusKiss!Hair though. However, I don't think the length bothered me as much as the style. It was like plastered to her head.

knh, about the hair...Didn't like Day 1 of Court!Hair or Who's your Daddy!Hair, but MetroCourt!GH!RedBlouse!Hair was nice IMO. And I'm not Italian, so I couldn't help you out with that tradition. Sorry.

Good, positive thinking about the catonic one returning. I guess if she is coming back, and they are going to agree to her terms about time on and off, they really can't do much of a reunion storyline with Luke. Actually, they can't do much story with her period. I don't know why thy even bother, though. "Because her kids need her" is pretty lame for a soap opera. Hell, I am a mother who's kids need her. I watch soaps because the are NOT my life. There's no real story there.

Anyway, got to get the screamers off to day camp. Sinus cold broke something through the night, so I actually feel human again, Yay!

Just voted and had the priveledge of getting LuNacy to 200.

Another thought - I wonder if they could come up with a way to have Diane know Ned from year ago. They have got to get Diane and Tracy in a scene somehow. I miss having Tracy on (glad she'll be there tomorrow), but in the meantime, watching Diane has been hysterical.

Oh say it ain't so! Doesn't do anything to my blood presure, but makes my stomach drop out. Wouldn't this be under the category TG refered to in the article Ms. Q, scaned as "picking scabs off the past", or something like that. They shouldn't have brought her back last fall, it just ignited those old fans who want the past relived. You just can't go there - not in soaps, not in real life. Unless they want to finally put the last nail in her fictional coffin....

Something I was noticing in the various avitars, is the reoccurance of TG and JE in what looks like a series of pictures. It's on a blue back ground, she's wearing something teal, and he's in a dark khaki green. I don't recall where those pictures came from. Did they do an article or interview or something together that I haven't seen yet? I don't see anything on Jane-Elliot.com that includes it. I know I haven't seen/read everything, so it's obviously something I've missed.

And for my belated birthday present, I would like an avitar of her with her new haircut and salmon pink jacket. Nothing too fancy, and you can add any comment you think appropriate. Please and thank you.

Well, Hooked, hope you're reading this. My membership (thank you very much) at HG has been validated - after having to run their security gauntlet. Do they have state secrets or something? My husband has free rein with all our nation's modes of transportation, and my security background check for his job wasn't this demanding.

Oh well, I'm in. As of my vote (now that I can finally say I have one), Tracy was 213 and Sam 87; while LuNacy was 188 with Robert/Holly next at 46.

Now, turning to this week, are we getting much of TQ? Someone obviously gets better spoilers than I see. Is this the week she pushes the DNA test?

Wow...and Ms. Q is actually home to edit the clips for us!!! Give poor Nex a break! Although she has had a long break with no TQ for 2 weeks!

I'm feeling too excited for words. I obviously picked a good week to be gone. I'm flying home in the next couple of hours, and looking forward to some clips from today. (no presure, or anything - still can't spell)

Reunion was a blast. Lots of memories shared, lots I had forgotten. 20 years seems like nothing. No one has really changed that much. The men are losing their hair, and the women their wastelines, but other than that... It's really amazing to be with a group of people who haven't been together for almost 2 decades, and realize that time means nothing. We just picked up where we left off all those years ago. Wish all reunions were this easy.

Hi everyone. I've arrived, safe and sound. Everything I put on my PDA while I was in the Breakroom the other night, was gone my the time I set down in Montreal. I was NOT amused. Luckily everything has it's backups, and my friends have many computers!

Oh just thought I'd mention, see if anyone else read it (it's sad we have to find so much other stuff to talk about without TQ on. Not sad cuz I love it, but you know what I mean) I just finished a book called Sarah by Marek Halter. My aunt told me about it. It was awesome. It was about the biblical Sarah so I hope that doesn't turn too many off. I'm catholic, but I'm not so religious that I read these things very often, or really even go to church, so I'm not trying to push this becuase of that but it was such a good story. Ok, just wanted to se if anyone has heard of it.

I haven't heard of this one, but another I'd recommend (in the same vein) is The Red Tent, about Miriam. I agree, you don't have to be religious to enjoy these - they're great stories about iconic women.

Can't stay long, Happy Birthday, Hooked; hope there is some TQ for everyone - at least potential spoilers, if not the real thing. Went to a dinner theatre with my friend last night, and the people we sat with remembered me when I was a small child. There's something unsettling about seeing people who remember me and my mother (who has been dead 10 years) and I have no idea who they are!

Another sinus infection and I have no voice at all right now. I'm getting it all this year, aren't I? At least I'm getting out of the way before I go to California in a few weeks. I have to tickets now so I'm outta here from Aug 25th- Sept 9th, so hopefully that'll make for some good Tracy for you guys. I havcen't been gone in a long time so I don't know that will work out for me, but here's hoping.

I'm just here to take a few minutes to SCREAM.... my flight for Moncton leaves early tomorrow morning, the kids have made more mess (if that's even possible), my PDA isn't working - so no books, no music, none of the writing I've been working on (screaming again), I'm not packed, the laundry isn't totally done, I haven't had a chance to eat, and my idiot husband is riding my very thin last nerve.

Otherwise, I'm happy Tracy is in the spoilers for the 13th. 'Bought time someone demanded a DNA test. BTW, how many more weeks is TG supposed to be gone, and any suggestion of when our girl gets out of SB?

New haircut! It is shorter, and was oomphy! JE also had some brown eyeshadow on that usually isn't there, I don't think. She looked absolutely gorgeous and younger, to me. Tracy was arguing with Scott about keeping Logan from Lulu, and Scott said that she didn't care about Lulu at all. After he left, Tracy asked Alan why he didn't say anything, and he said it was because he was "fading," which is because he is agreeing with Tracy's actions. Lulu even used Luke along with her as a reason the Q's were freaking over her being with Logan- because the two would kill them if something happened to her. aww. When she asked Alan if she had "pushed away Dillon for good" (because he hadn't contacted her at all since he left), and he wasn't there, she seemed sad that she really could be Alan for good.

I had to pick the kids up from daycamp, so I missed half of it. She does look good, doesn't she. The jacket was a fabulous colour on her - has it been worn before? She really should stick to red/pink. It works for her.

Highlight is that she's in the prevues for tomorrow as well. So, that's at least two days this week.

Not only do I not think she's going to be on today (judging from the SZ Live Post), but I believe watching today's episode might actually cause my skull to explode.

Oh, and someone on SZ called my girl a witch. As a pagan, I don't use that word as a derogatory term, but this person did--insulting both my favorite character AND my faith simultaneously. Nice Job, Beautona!

The episode was hard on the head. No real story, just moving stuff along. Kinda like watching someone else play checkers. Boring.

As for SZ, don't worry about it too much, Deb, that has got to be one of the most hateful, insulting boards I have ever seen. I'm amazed how worked up people get over fictional characters. I figure if Tracy's getting negative attention, someone ain't getting their "angel" back - and realizes it.

But they did have this old, loud, skirt chaser, shaking his little vial, talking about the "keys to the kingdom". I can't tell you how much A: I was grossed out, and B: I was glad my daughter had just left the room. Ewwwww

I can't see them getting RC and TG back together. That ship sailed. TPTB have seen how TG and JE sparkle - something they've both wanted for decades. There is way too much to be mined with Luke/Tracy. Skye is so pale in comparison.

My instinct about Skye is that she'll be the next one Allan haunts. Did you catch the day of Dillon's farewell - Tracy told Allan to haunt Skye, and he looked like he considered that a good idea. Ghost Allan said he couldn't haunt Monica because her conscious was clear, but Skye's is anything but. She does come forward, so the spoilers say, with evidence to help clear Jason. Perhaps that's what Allan will haunt out of her. And Skye appeared to openly want to commune with Ghost Allan.

Did I also read that Ted King is back in negotiations?

Please someone find another Tracy spoiler...I think what happened yesterday was the only one I have seen...

Guess they are planning to keep her shadybrook storyline going for a while...unless she convinces Scott to get her out. Edward doesn't seem to be budging.

I can't find anything about Tracy in the spoilers that I see, other than she's let out of Shadybrook soon. The shtick in SB is getting a little drawn out, IMO. Anyone she interacts with has to come to her, and they are usually only one at a time. She needs to be out, mingling, causing trouble. I hope something new comes with the weekend spoilers.

Even today's only say that Lulu defies Tracy - well, she did that yesterday. I hope she's on, but I have my doubts.

Okay, I watched live. Didn't think I'd have to be the one to tell, so forgive me for the lack of details.

Unless my count was off, she was in every segment. I know she was in at least 6 of the 7.

Opened with Tracy and Scott walking in on Lulu just as she leaned over to kiss Logan. Tracy looked relieved, even as she was balling out Scott for his son being all over Lulu (or something like that). Lulu's face was a mixture of "what are you doing" and "wow, you really care". Lots of insults, Scott denying Logan's identity, yada yada. Tracy tells Lulu she wanted her to work Logan, but this was not what she had in mind.

Tracy pushed Lulu out the door and took her back to the mansion. We find out that Edward allowed her a day pass to find Lulu, but Tracy is still very much an inmate of Shadybrook.

Um.... Tracy want's her to have a curfew of 11 pm (yeah right), and didn't want to go back to SB. Scott informs her it's either SB or prison, so she goes back. Before she leaves, though, she admonishes all the Q's (Edward, Monica, Sky - who Edward called to come look for Lulu, as well as Alice) to watch out for Lulu. There was a definite sense of "maternal Tracy" in all of this.

Once back at SB, Tracy continues to give Scott what for, telling him to acknowledge his son and reign him in - Lulu is Laura's daughter, after all, so he should care more. Scott still denies Logan. Tracy tells him that if he doesn't stop this, when Luke returns there will be hell to pay.

And Lulu, being Lulu, sneaks out, goes to Logan, shows more interest in him then ever before, starts kissing him, and we're off to the races tomorrow...

BTW, JE was georgeous as ever. Green jacket, black pants (I think) Sorry, these things don't usually register for me

I'm disappointed, but not really shocked. I was a little suspicious that the show and the previews were one day off when Dillon's last day ended up being on Monday, rather than the Friday originally suggested weeks before.

I'm just hoping that Tracy will walk in with a big relief hug and act like a real mother, not stand back and do her unemotional thing.

Who knows, there might be a pattern here. Wouldn't that make it Wednesday, Thursday and [possibly] Friday, three/four weeks in a row since Luke left?

Opps, forgot she was only on once last week. So much for my pattern theory.

I told him not to get contacts cause I couldn't help him and the whole thing eeks me out...he is now crying and freaking out that they are never coming out. THey were a fortune and I KNEW he wouldn't be able to do them properly. It is getting worse each day, not better and I want to scream! The eye doctor gave them to us at his cost which was still $750!!! NOT A GOOD MORNING SO FAR! I don't know what to do....I might have to take him back to the eye doctor's office and let him take them out. "

Oy, hooked, I got contacts when I was your son's age. Don't know if this helps, but tell him to wash his hands really, really well, then stare into the mirror and pinch the contact out. Just do it fast, and don't think about it.

Secondly, go buy his some cheap mascera that will wash off easily (or the boys will give him no end of grief). I know it sounds funny, but the mascera will train his brain to allow hands around his eyes without flinching. I got an old boyfriend comfortable with contacts this way.

MinervaFan, I often see now that the deleted scenes are on the DVDs so people are more interetsed in buying them. Hold tight, not all it lost yet. McGonagall is one of my favourites, as well. She gets the best lines!

Any idea how Tracy gets out of Shadybrook, and is with Scott to walk in on Lulu? I've got to be out this afternoon, but I'm thinking they've got to do something before tomorrow - or maybe they'll just have a throw-away line. There've been lots of spoilers having to do with Tracy and Shadybrook that just haven't happened yet. (This make believe world is so much more interesting than my laundry pile.)
