The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Yup... just read it.... Go Team... Go Team... Okay, just concluded The Annals (a simple touch-up and tailoring the story to match the show) and wow.... reading it now brings all sorts of emotions and memories to the surface. I think I wrote some of my best stuff and some pure garbage, not to mention plenty of fluff and futtering. That was one hell of a journey you allowed me to lead. Thank you. I still think the dance was my best chapter... but I love the food one too. It's hard to believe that saga was written over 5 months and that we all endured that much frustration along the way. Hooked travelled everywhere. My kids had more camps than anyone deserves. Lainey and Addie uprooted their lives. GTQ fought with air conditioners. Funny avoided almost every hurricane. Some of us disappeared while more came to join us.... Jane Elliot is completely correct - viewers do use the show to punctuate their lives.

S'okay.... I'm just having fun a la the cat with a mouse... I actually find it a whole lot easier on the head than the SD board that Hooked hangs out on.

Yeah... that's what I'm thinking. He wasn't sober enough to drive, but he certainly could carry on a proper conversation and walk a straight line. As for the faux wedding, he wasn't that drunk (esp. compared to poor Tracy), he was more on edge that everything would explode. Anyway, I like playing verbal ping-pong with many of them but part of me can't wait until the next three weeks are over and Tracy/Luke are back home. I just hope they don't drop them completely after that because I haven't heard anything about story after ewcbo takes her leave - but that could merely mean that they don't want to spoil anything with Tracy because we would know for sure Luke was with her and they still want some element of surprise (although GF leaving is a pretty big clue).

Agreed! Okay - TAG.... someone else want to go on SOC and point out that Luke is NOT a falling down drunk. In fact he's only been that drunk on three occasions I can remember - after Laura went back to the rocker, when he didn't want to accept his heart condition bringing on the 3rd and final heart attack, and currently in the Mexican bar thinking Tracy had abandoned him. I'm open to be reminded of other incidents, but so far I can count them on one hand in three years and still have fingers left over.

LMAO... they can't do anything easily can they. (I'm ignoring the hair comments.)

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
You're all welcome to the recaps. It was a pleasant surprise to have them on today - they weren't in any of the breakdowns. That's 3 times last week and 4 times this week and at least 2 times next week. That pretty well doubles her YTD appearances. To clarify, Tracy realizes the call came from SB and figures Lulu was trying to contact her. That was all Luke needed to hear and he was off. Tracy knew where he was going and was just annoyed he didn't say 'come on'. She wasn't 'abandoned' in the least. Everyone knows that if Lulu is calling Tracy there is a big problem.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Today's Recaps, October 24th STATS Vets: Tracy, Luke, Scott, Laura Kisses: nada Sc. 1 - Not again, Husband. Tracy is telling him to get up and that she's not interested in scrapping him off the bar. He can stay there until he can get himself up. Sc. 2 - Luke's saying they have to leave. Tracy is telling him to sit, she doesn't want him to keel over again, she wants him to sober-up. Luke says he has a plan - get up there, help Lulu and stomp Baldwin like a cockroach. Tracy points out they can't go anywhere with the laundering charges still in effect, that they just have to wait for Edward. Luke says waiting for Edward was as helpful as waiting for the Easter Bunny. Sc. 3 - no LuNacy Sc. 4 - The bartender gives Luke coffee and wonders why he has to drink it and Tracy doesn't - because she's sober, Tracy points out. She asks what he's going to say to Lulu. Luke says he's going to tell her she's a Spencer and there's no way she will take after her mother. Tracy asks him if that's it, and he says to the letter. Tracy then orders a large bottle of Tequila and tells Luke to drink up, because if that's the best he can do he's more use to Lulu on the floor. Sc. 5 - no LuNacy Sc. 6 - Luke looks at the drink, saying 'you are a master at psychological torture, Mrs. Spencer'. Tracy says Lulu feels guilty, and Luke could make it worse. He compares the situation to Scott, and Tracy asks why he thinks history has to repeat itself. Luke says Lulu's only problem is the seed of Baldwin and now that he's gone she'll be alright. Tracy is incredulous at his myopia, saying things are much worse and he needs to do more than give her a pep talk. Compounding everything is Lulu's love for Johnny. Lulu needs guidance. At that point Lulu is trying to call Tracy but the staff at SB stop her - Scott has told Laura he will drop everything against Lulu if Laura comes with him, and Laura agrees (leaving in her bathrobe, no less). Sc. 7 - Tracy gives him some mouth spray and tells him to clean up, that he won't get across the border looking like he is. Luke takes it but says she's doing nothing for his ego and asks her if she's amused. She says nothing in the whole experience has been amusing, with the exception of his face when she threatened to pour water over him - that was it. As she looks through her purse Tracy says Luke had her so distracted she missed a call. Looking at the phone she says it's not from Daddy, it's from SB and she hopes Lulu is alright. When Tracy looks up Luke is gone, and she yells "not again" as she gathers up her things and moves towards the door. My thoughts: The LuNacy team is strong - hate the constant repeat of conversation, but it actually got somewhere. As for SNL, they are lousy and the story is missing so many beats - and I'm trying not to see it through my anti-ewcbo eyes. It really is poor.

I wonder how JE feels about all of this ewcbo gushing in the rags. I know she knows the outcome by now, but if you think about it, it must be insulting to see a pairing you've worked in for over 3 years be totally ignored for nostalgia.

We're we supposed to get Monday too? I'll watch today and see what happens, but it doesn't sound like LuNacy is on.

Count me in. I just got home and tried to get in the BR, but no one was there. Just tell me how many pooka shells you'd like. (I still think the bears would be cute - but I love the idea of the picture.) And no pressure, but the Canadian dollar is down to less than 80 cents, so your money will go further to begin with. I think we all want to make sure Jane knows her fans love her.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Typo Luke/Lulu helping Tracy, is understandable. Typo Laura/Tracy demanding a choice from Luke - I'm thinking that one they'd be pretty sure of. Besides, everyone would expect Tracy to ask. Laura asking is far better story.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Other shows have duplicated this one, too - point is Tracy did it first, did it best, and has the Emmy to prove it. Wow... I would have thought Tracy or Scott made that ultimatum. Now I really can't wait to see this, especially since we are 99.9% sure of the answer. Hooked, look at it this way - Guza et al is trying to court the LnL viewers. Yeah, I'd like to see Tracy's name mentioned, but we already know she's part of the action and the rags seem to think LnL is always the story. This is just one group of spoiler dates. There will be more - find them for us, Mama!

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Today's Recaps (Thursday, Oct. 23rd) STATS Vets: Luke, Tracy, Scott, Laura Kisses: 1 kiss of her hand Sc. 1 - Still in bar drinking. Luke is mad about Tracy leaving him, saying they could have gone in a new direction. Tracy saying she didn't want floozies and drinking. Luke says they whole world was there in front of them ready for the taking, and she bailed on him in one week and took all his money. Tracy says she didn't want to be the ball and chain around his neck, she could tell he wanted to be free. Luke shakes his head and says "I'll never be free of you, don't you know that? And that's the way I like it." Sc. 2 - "I'm supposed to believe you're crying in your beer over me?" "I'm supposed to believe you came down here only to get me for Lulu?" Luke tries to point out she missed him. Tracy said if he missed her why no phone calls, no emails, no cutesy packages? Luke deflects and asks if Edward has left a message and she tries her phone. Then Luke starts with the cute names and Tracy can't help but smile, doesn't she know how he feels? Tracy catches herself and says she thinks he's an opportunist and she should have known better than to express her feelings, and then gets up to walk out the bar door. Luke remains at the table and says he had a whole adventure planed for them and she bailed... she bailed. Sc. 3 - Tracy sits back down. Two days on the road and she was done - wanting indoor plumbing, edible food and a proper bed. She's high maintenance, 5 Stars, so she came back home. Luke wanted them to find something that was just them. Tracy doesn't know what he was looking for out there, she's a realist. Luke says that's why they are a doomed pair, but they make a great team... a great team. Tracy just looks at him. Anger for both seems to have died down. Sc. 4 - no LuNacy Sc. 5 - Luke at the bar wanting something to drink, Tracy says make it two. Luke likes to hear that, someone to share his debauchery. Tracy says she's accepted his faults - which are legion - including his running away from home and from her. Luke says he has never run away from her, he wants to be with her all the time. Tracy doesn't believe him. She says he gets so suffocated that he has to run and she knows he leaves her intentionally. He says that's not the way it is, that she has spoiled him for all other woman. "All other women bore the pants off me - poor choice in words." With all your scheming and nagging you are utterly irresistible. Luke kisses her hand and she pulls away, smirking. Sc. 6 - Scott admits he's been writing the notes and that he knows Lulu killed Logan; no LuNacy Sc. 7 - Tracy's drunk, saying she should know better than to drink with him because something terrible always happens. Luke offers her another and pours Tequila over her because he's drunk too. Tracy says he's making her miserable, her family hates him and he takes her money. Luke says they are making the old goat happy because now both of them are out of Edward's hair and Edward isn't going to help them. Tracy realizes he's right. They are both playing drunk rather well. Luke says it's time to take matters into their own hands and he stands up, just in time to fall flat on his face again. Tracy just sits there and laughs. My opinion: They skirted the emotion, but it wasn't the scene I had hoped to see. Nothing was said the way we've seen in the past. No "be the man you deserve", or "without a dime" or even "damned lucky". He only said she ruined him for anyone else and he never wanted to be free of her - not that heart warming IMO.

She's also the one who writes all of Luke's rape discussions - she seems to really tap in to the emotional man that is Luke. I hope you're right Hooked, because she will give him amazing dialogue.

This is a great idea. And that banner really needs to be shared - I bet Jane hasn't received anything like that before. and LOL at the SB comment - my kids were wondering why I was laughing.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Tracy is with him, we know that. The thing is that Guza and all the rags are trying to cash in on the LnL garbage, so that's what they are highlighting. The plane is the week of the 27th, but that doesn't mean some new information comes up on Monday the 3rd. Besides, LnL needs to have a heart-to-heart about their past/future so they can wrap it up and go their individual ways. It's perfect really. Genie/Kin can come and go as storyline dictates; Laura is awake so she can be involved with her kids lives; there will still be some LnL tension so that fan base will still have reason to hope; Laura has a partner which is very soapy; and LuNacy is kept intact with loads of future potential. It works all the way around.

I still think Teddy Bears with a "Mama" and "Papa" on them.

Tray was empty. They do continue tomorrow, and Tracy is really confused. I'm starting to see the wider picture here and the crap Luke has been throwing at Tracy these past few days. He's really hurt and upset, and the fact that she didn't come down and appologize immediately has him even more pissed. For her part she's truly confused about his anger towards her. If you think about it, Luke has never had reason to be angry with Tracy so she probably doesn't know that abandoning him hurt him deeply. I think this will be the starting point for tomorrow's heartfelt conversation.

Today's Recap (Wednesday, Oct. 22nd) Stats Vets: Luke, Tracy Kisses: nada Sc. 1 - Morning of a new day. LuNacy in jail, Luke snoring; Tracy bangs on bars with the tray waking him up saying 'I can't take this'. Luke wakes up with a hangover, complaining about the noise and Tracy says it's his fault they are in jail. (All jewelry is gone, rings and earrings.) Sc. 2 - no LuNacy Sc. 3 - Tracy says he's been down there for months and clearly knows the lay of the land so get us the 'hell out of here', she yelled. He was only trying to keep the drunken Fed from 'playing her maracas'. Tracy points out Luke was the one who got the Fed drunk in the first place. Luke says he wanted to keep her from being arrested for bribery. Oh, that worked well, Tracy says sarcastically. Then a young woman comes calling for Luke. Luke smiles and says that's the cavalry, when Tracy wonders who the woman is. The guard lets him out and he hugs the younger woman, then the Luke and the woman walk away arm in arm as the guard closes the door on Tracy. Tracy can't believe it as the guard laughingly says she paid for Luke, not for Tracy. (I'm NOT happy with Lukey right now.) Sc. 4 - no LuNacy Sc. 5 - Scrubs Bridal/Baby Shower; Luke returns to the jail cell. Tracy is sarcastically surprised he's returned and wants to know who the chicky is. Turns out she's someone Luke saved in a card game - he came upon her when she was down to her last peso and the men were interested in taking more. Luke bought into the game and won everything. Then he gave half the money to the young woman for a favour to be paid back in the future, and that's all she was doing. Now, Luke wants to know if Tracy wants to stay there and wait for the Fed to come up with more charges, or does she want to return to the Cantina and toast. She's not sure she should believe him, and he assures her that if he was lying he would be more inventive. (Still no proof that he cheated on her over the summer, and he looks like he's telling her the truth not looking for words to lie to her.) Sc. 6 - Tracy and Luke back to the Cantina. The bartender says they're not welcome. Tracy looks very amused. Luke says Tracy will pay for all the bartender's needs. Tracy asks why she should pay? Luke says he used all his money bailing her out. When they get into the bar Luke orders a large tequila, and Tracy says give him a soda. Why listen to her? Luke asks - because she's paying the bill. Tracy laughs victoriously, and says besides, he needs to have a clean head. Luke says there's lots of time to cool their heel waiting for Edward to come through, and questions if it will happen. Tracy assures him Edward will do it or risk his internet dating information getting to all the members of his club. Then she looks at Luke and says this level of drinking is excessive even for him. What's his problem? Luke glares at her and says you have to ask? Tracy is confused. Sc. 7 - no LuNacy Line of the Day: Spin: "Achems' Razor"; Maxie: "Why are you talking about shaving at a time line this?"

Those are adorable! I love it. Just make sure it's Jane and LuNacy, because we want to underscore that we want our couple as much as we want her alone. On second thought... something with Luke/Tony would be good too. You KNOW the TG fans at that other site will be pushing the LnL crap.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
LMAO - Scotty drops that bomb? I would have expected Tracy to. Oh well, I can't wait to see that one then ewcbo can realize Luke is gone and start to rekindle those feelings with Scott before LuNacy arrives - they've got a week alone at least. As for the anniversary - I think we should be sending her 5 and 30 year somethings. And honestly, I like the balloon idea. Food probably won't get past the front desk, but I think it's high time Jane got some of the fan attention that KeMo and Keg receive. Cards are great, but a balloon bouquet or something similar would have a 'wow' effect. Perhaps balloons with a 'Mama Bear' stuffed bear holding them. Nex, could you arrange delivery? I'm full of ideas but I live in a different country so it limits my contributions. Perhaps the same with a bear called 'Papa Bear' for his 30th anniversary - it would symbolize their fans as well as our love for LuNacy. November is also Luke and Tracy's 3 1/2 anniversary - since the actual 3rd was missed this year.

SFD, couldn't they even add five more letters and actually mention Tracy by name? The week of the 10th can't come soon enough for me (but I'll enjoy to peaks of LuNacy amid the valleys of ewcbo). (Cleaning... in a really, really foul mood. I'll be better at 3, I promise.)

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
When a beautiful woman offers to bail Luke out but leave Tracey behind, Luke takes her up on it. (Oh please, don't let Luke be an ass to her, and let this be a contextually misleading - I'm getting tired of Luke even joking that something is more worth his time) Tracy and Luke have nothing but time on their hands as they try to figure out how to get out of their newest predicament (As long as they work as a team, I'll take what they have to offer) Luke realizes that Edward hasn't lifted a finger to help him return to Port Charles in time to help Lulu. Me: I know what they could be doing during that time!--LOL Agreed!
