Too funny - and my apologies to all of you for not mentioning the hair-flip. I saw it and chuckled at the time, but forgot to include that in my recap. The Tracy Hair thread is alive and well at SOC.

Totally OT - do any of you get Canadian political news? We're in the middle of a coup. Our sitting Prime Minister is a nob (Bush wanna-be) and has lost much of the national confidence, so the three opposition parties - who actually outnumber the ruling party - are forming a left-wing coalition government (a la Europe). Now there's a east/west argument, Conservatives against the NDP/Liberals/Bloq Quebeqoui. My politics are obviously with the coalition, but this is new to Canadians. We always want it so nice.

Oh, she's also returning at Abigail Bowen and a Russian mobster that Jason has to fight with. I know, it's SD and you have to take it with many grains of salt. As I said, my first choice is that they stay together. Second is that they leave together. Operative word "TOGETHER". But seriously, Some Enchanted Evening... "And fly to her side, and make her your own, or all through your life you may be all alone. Once you have found her never let her go. Once you have found her never let her go." I'm thinking I will have a whole lot of free time if/when JE/TG leave. Given everything TG has said, honestly it could go either way, but as long as they are a united front, I'm good.

Oh... my girl you and I are like THIS on R&H - and Tony/Jane have both shared their love of those classics. I didn't think of that song as an extension, but it would fit. And you know Lukey would rock "Some Enchanted Evening". As for Jane/Tony leaving together - I'm hoping a few things. First that everyone is blowing up our ass and they have no intention of going anywhere. But if these leaks are true (and I'm the first to say we were going to hear this a lot before TG makes a statement - and the economic situations just makes this discussion seem more real) LuNacy leaving together is the perfect way to go. (Not to mention it's a perfect up-yours to a certain few I'm tussled with.) EDIT Oh Lisa - LOVE THAT!!!!

Today's Recaps (Wednesday, December 3rd) STATS Vets: Tracy, Luke, Mac Kisses: not even close Appearance: two outfits. One black jacket and shell that gets soaked, and one of the white flowing shirt Stories: Nicadine in the sticks; JaSam looking for Jake; LnL desperate for Jake; LuNacy in the DR; Scrubs and co. with Emma drama Lines of the Day: Maxie to Emma "You're so pretty and pink and deceptively high maintenence"; Jason asks if Spin has his laptop, Spin says "It is my 5th appendage." Sc. 1 - Tracy in cab looking at a surf hut (yes, same one as the Mexican cantina decorated differently) wondering if she can get a divorce inside. The cabby says he didn't steer her wrong, but Tracy threatens him within an inch of his life if he's wrong. Tracy gets out of the cab and the driver says something about Americans. Tracy walks into the hut and sees Luke at the bar with an umbrella drink. He says "Welcome to the Dominican Republic, Mrs. Spencer". Tracy is aghast. Sc. 2 - Luke encurages her to sit down. Tracy asks if he's stocking her. Luke thinks that's awfully harsh but Tracy counters that that is what you call someone who keeps following you around. How did you get down so fast, she wonders. He says as soon as he heard she was on her was to the DR he hopped the next flight. Luke encourages Tracy to sit at the table with him - he'll even make her a Zombie. "My Pretty Pink Popsicle, how can you stay mad in paradise?" He wants her to kick off her shoes and let him make all of her troubles disappear. Tracy says the only trouble that needs to disappear is him and she's going back to town to get a divorce. Luke asks if she brought her bathing suit or does she want to skinny dip. Tracy says she doesn't care if he runs buck naked through the centre of town, she's getting back in the cab and getting the divorce. Luke just leans back in his chair as Tracy storms out of the bar. The cabby is gone and the heavens open with a downpour. Tracy stands in the rain saying "Damn you Luke Spencer". Sc. 3 - Tracy walks back in soaking and says the cabbie left. Tracy tries her cell and Luke says there's no reception there. Tracy realizes it's the truth and then asks for the phone. In this beach shack, Luke asks. But there is indoor plumbing, he says. Why doesn't she go into the bathroom and dry off, then he throws a Sarong at her and encourages her to put it on. Tracy uses it to dry her face and hair and Luke is disappointed. He says she was supopsed to wrap herself in that. Tracy says she's not playing South Pacific (Hey GQT - R&H reference ), she'll wear her own clothes. Then she blusters that even he couldn't arrange this monsoon, she will wear her own clothing. Luke tells her to enjoy, and before she storms off she says by the time the rain ends he will be begging for a divorce. Luke looks disturbed at her attitude. Sc. 4 - no LuNacy Sc. 5 - Spinelli is telling Emma that Tale of Odysius - it's so sweet; Tracy walks back in her white shirt and Luke says look what I made for you Spanks, a My-tie (sp?). Tracy says let me get this straight, you want to ply me with liquor until I sleep with you and forget it all? Is that your plan? Luke says his only plan is to lie on the beach with his wife, enjoying Rum concoctions and reminising about the good times. He want's her to forget all the cheating? He says she's bull headed. "Bull headed?" "It's one of the things I love most about you." Tracy says no amount of drinks is going to take away the knowledge that he chose Laura. Luke yells at her - I did not choose Laura. YOU are my life. Tracy says "read my lips - give up", and walks away from him. Luke looks frustrated. Sc. 6 - no LuNacy Sc. 7 - Tracy's looking out the door, Luke offers a penny for her thoughts. Tracy says she's not a religious woman but she's hoping God will stop the rain so she can get out of there. Luke says until that happens there's no reason to stay on opposite sides of the room. He sits down and pulls a pack of cards out of his shirt, suggesting they play. Tracy makes some response but I missed it, sorry.

It just seemed like too many names - some of whom are recurring anyway so what's the big dead, just use them less (although KK and JZ can't be used less IMO). I see that Wubs has updated their spoilers again. The only one I hadn't seen before was this: Tracy and Luke try to work it out after he finds out her truth The rest over there goes as follows: Edward is at his wit's end with Tracy and turns to Luke for help. Tracy tries to pull the wool over Luke's eyes. Alan gives Tracy advice; but she doesn't want to take it Luke will try to woo Tracy back And if anyone would like to comment (knowing many of you have) these threads are active on SOC: Tracy's Hair Style... "You bet your sweet coddled ass I am" Tracy divorces Luke Tracy brings Luke to life Luke: "I enjoy my independence but I miss my wife" aww.... She can't. We know it, Luke knows it - although he's scared. The Q's know it. Even Tracy knows it, she's just trying to retain her dignity.

Sc. 1 - no LuNacy Sc. 2 - no Luke; Q's are hiding in the den and talk about how terrible Tracy has been to everyone "Like Sherman burning Atlanta" Edward says. Apparently Alice had to talk the gardener down from suing them. Edward says he saw that exchange and the gardener was within his rights. Monica says there's only one way to solve Tracy, Edward says no. Monica says Edward has to swallow his pride and go get Luke. Tracy yells from the hallway and comes into the den then blasts Monica for moving her hospital charity meeting and Edward for interfering with ELQ. Then blasts Alice for not having fresh ice. As Alice runs out of the room for ice, Monica and Edward skedattle too. Tracy yells "cowards" at them. Alan says "So far, life without Luke seems to be pretty bleak." Tracy says there is no Luke and she's facing life without him. Alan says she's not handling it well and Tracy asks if he is signing on against her and he says no, he's dead. But why doesn't she just admit she misses him and go back to get him. Tracy says no way. Sc. 3 - Edward greets Luke at the patio door and Luke wonders why he is sneaking in. Edward explains the Qs want Luke to move back in, and Luke smells a rat. Edward explains that Tracy is "horrid and retched" on her best days and right now she's gone over the end. Edward says he'll allow Luke to sit in his chair, he'll pour Luke his best Scotch, Luke can choose the best lobster, and Edward will even give him back rubs. Luke tells Edward to keep his hands off and they have a deal. Edward asks when Luke can move back in and he says his bag is in the car. They are shaking hands when Tracy walks in and calmly tells Luke to leave or she'll have him arrested. Sc. 4 - Edward says they can work it out by themselves. Tracy threatens to have him declared senile and have him committed. Edward leaves the room and Monica, Alice and Edward listen to the door. Tracy says she doesn't need him, she's happy with life. Luke says if that's the case than why is she being such a terror to everyone around her. If she's angry take it to the source - take her anger out on him. Tracy said she's the fool because he married her for her money and then she believed he cared for her. Luke says 'care for her', no - he loves her. Tracy says that's only until his real wife is back and she's tired of being the back-up so get out. Monica, Edward and Alice rush in and says Luke has to stay. They give him a drink and sit him down. Then Monica says it's her house and Luke can move back in. Tracy yells that it's only hers because Alan gave it to her. Luke smiles and says if absence makes the heart grow fonder, and misery loves company. Sc. 5 - no LuNacy Sc. 6 - no LuNacy Sc. 7 - Alice giving Luke a pedicure. Edward realizes they are his slippers and Luke says if he wants he can rejoin his own slippers in his small cabin at the HS. Edward says no, no he can keep the slippers. Monica asks what Luke would like for supper and Luke says he heard lobster was an option. Monica says lobster it is and Alice says she will brave Cook for Mr. Luke. Luke replies "Thanks Miss Alice" (very cute). Tracy walks in and Luke asks her what she thinks of Lobster. She says 'not much' and proceeds to place a call, asking them to prepare the private jet. Luke asks if she's going somewhere and she tells them she's going to the Dominican Republic - she's getting a divorce. She looks triumphantly at Luke and Luke looks devestated in return.

How about I trade you for my husband. He really, really, really doesn't want to go to work either - but I think I'd like your company more.

Thanks Hooked. You gotta love the JE love that just pours out of these actors. I wish TPTB would take the hint - almost everyone wants to work more with JE, so lets truly have Tracy "all over the canvas". It wouldn't be that hard. And Yay for the week of the 8th. I imagine where there's one day, there will be more. They still have to be together for Christmas so they've got a ways to go.

Wednesday December 3: Luke sets his sights on winning Tracy back. Thursday December 4: Tracy and Luke's marriage is the stakes of a card game. And they have a picture of Luke looking lovingly at Tracy from last week with the caption "Are they done?"

Geez, I just say the last few minutes of OLTL and there they all were, sitting around Thanksgiving Dinner, all enjoying the food and family. GH could have done that so easily. Passing on information about Laura - she's happy and closely monitored. Luke says he hopes she's enjoying every moment of her independence. Nick asks if Luke is, and he says he always enjoys his independence but he really misses his wife. Nick asks which one, and Luke give him a look. Sc. 4 - No Tracy; Luke and Nick reminisce about the conversation about how both Tracy and Laura were the loves of his life. Nick asks what Luke is going to do. Luke says he's married to Tracy not Laura and he's not going to drop his life whenever it looks like Laura might recover, but it might not even matter. He says Tracy overheard a part of the conversation he had with Lulu about going with Laura if she asked - just to get her settled - but Tracy didn't understand. He says she might not wear it on her sleeve, but Tracy feels and hurts as deeply as anyone and he's hurt her repeatedly and put her second to Laura. Christmas Montage on SoapDish about 1/2 way down This is just the list form the Picture Insider - it isn't the scenes that have been taped EDIT Argh... I'm writing "The Christmas Letter" for relatives I don't give a hoot about and will probably never see again. (Not completely true, but that's what I'm feeling). I hate group letters in principle, but with my hands I can't really personalize anymore. The kids are all well enough to fight but not well enough to be sent outside into the December sleet. Thanks Hooked. I'm looking forward to this week. Last week was manageable only because it was a short week with a dream sequence (and Alan was alive). But I want my LuNacy back. The week of the 8th is when Jake is returned, so I imagine Liason, Cake and LuSam will be dominating that week more than usual. There is still a possibility, though. The spoilers don't give everything and recently we have been pleasantly surprised a couple of times with Tracy on days we didn't expect her. As I was arguing with an ewcbo fan earlier today - they didn't have a 3 decade romance, they had 3 decades of good PR. This is just one more to put in the category "The sun shines out of GF's ass". We've heard from TG, GF and KS..... wonder if we will hear anything from JE.... EDIT We've been talking for some time now about the violence on GH - but my kids are watching Home Alone and laughing their butts off as the burglars get beaten to a pulp. There is just one LnL holdout speaking right now, so SOC isn't bad at all. I've referenced the article and this other person has obviously read it because she quoted part of it as well. Although it's meant to shut some fanbases up (and on SD you know you always have to question content), I love the message it's trying to send: Sunday November 30th, 12:00 pm OK I'll give it to you straight guys, no more speculations anymore and i wont tell you my name. You either believe me or you dont but i'll give it to you straight then you'll see it happening in the coming months. At the moment Frons seems to have the power, ratings are bad so he uses that argument to dictate what Guza must write because he could easily fire the headwriter by using the poor ratings as an excuse, he did on AMC and OLTL, GH is the only soap left with the same headwriter and Guza knows. At this point what Maurice and Steve want at the moment dont count right now because Frons has the ratings as excuse to do whatever the hell he wants by saying '' we're in trouble and changes need to happen'' meaning Steve and Mo will shut up for now and do their stories without a word, so we have Skate done for now and SoClaudia marriage, in the coming weeks you will see Sonny and Claudia living a marriage that they wont realize is actually what suit them both, despite what people think Olivia/Sonny are not becoming a couple, Olivia is being used to set up the arrival of Dante and for that to bring drama, Olivia needs to connect with Sonny on some level but you wont see a couple in them, it will only look that way sometimes because they are also testing them at the same, why not?. Right now however Sonny and Claudia are supposed to be like Luke/Tracy: two people who were never meant to be that are going to realize their marriage is probably the only relationship that will work for them. On the other hand, you will have Jason and Sam, slowly you'll see them becoming allies again, right now Lusam will continue but the plan is to eventually show that Lucky isnt meant to be with Sam, that the cirscumstances will bring Jason and Sam full circle again. This does not mean the end for the quad but a major shift is coming. Frons wants this and nothing will keep this from happening in the new year: Not Guza, Not Mo, not Steve because ABC daytime is in a fragile state right now and those people know right now they must shut up and let the higher ups do what it's takes, Frons is calling the shots now.
