Brooke took a sample of the cologne to the lab and found that it has some kind of pheromone in it that first attracts - then masks a nasty scent after it’s worn on the body for more than two hours….so Brooke scraps it or is about to - but they don’t know yet. Enter Ridge “So you were doing all of this, to get the company back to us, and so now what Logan? You release this high end perfume and - then what, what’s your plan?” Enter Steffy “Sorry, Dad, but I had to hear this myself, because I never believed this whole lie for one second - lemme get this straight, you started all of this scheme of you being the CEO to try and cover how underhanded your daughter is and now - this perfume is your first move to a high end all you can grab fashion house? All on the back of - well, the perfume is a great idea but….” Brooke: You can both save it. What’s my plan you asked? Steffy - let me tell you something. Tosses pictures smashing at their feet. In come Carter, Hope, and Katie, arms crossed. enter Eric and Donna. Eric: “so it’s true? Steffy? Your plan was to hurt Forrester just to get it back again?” (messy but quick and very just had to get to Brooke repeating that scene of Susan Flannery tossing pictures on the floor).

I am tuning in today and last time - seemed unsure that whatever takeover plot would unfold. Ridge: Hope is out of control - going after my son, then Finn, then Carter! Will the writers please have these other characters speak up? Brooke should be reminding him his son is a *ucking stalker KOOK who schemes and blames it on diseases. Your current wife made the biggest discovery Forrester ever HAD you unshaven egomaniac bozo and you come back at my family repeatedly. Holy crap, I just typed that and then Brooke said it. Good. I saw a few minutes, and was Tanner Novlan wearing a bad piece? There was no part and it was noticeably longer and not moving. But I only see bits once in a while so maybe he’s been on regularly and his hair is longer? Looked like a piece. I’d use this as an opportunity for Steffy to exert power, Ridge dives into Taylor, they ditch Carter’s idea and berate him, HFTF is axed. Carter and Hope find solace in each other, and Carter gets a call returned - from Genoa City. Only it’s Sally Specta. Something could be brewing with a former brand and name - since Forrester doesn’t want the idea. They also discover the HFTF copyright expired, Forrester rarely retires a brand to worry about protecting a name of a failed brand. Carter and Hope and Sally form the new Spectra; maybe some faces from the past, as Carter also schmoozes the Abbot clan because why not bring Spectra back with a bang. Be the brand all the way around - kick it off all together - fragrance, gowns, cruise wear, casual wear in Hope for the Future; Liam continues to sniff around and in hoping to win Hope back, focuses all Spencer media coverage on Hope for the Future and the return of Spectra. I could go on and on. Quinn returns to LA in hopes of rejoining Forrester, but finds Donna has truly supplanted her with Eric, he’s committed to her; Ivy is now the Golden Child of the jewelry line but it’s only going so-so. After some other tiffs and conflict, Carter is reminded that Quinn was talented; hire her at Spectra; but Hope of course balks because of their history. Finn grows weary of Steffy’s obsession with Hope, Carter, the new Spectra, and finds himself drowning his sorrows more than usual. Wonder who he could meet at an AA meeting if he goes - just to see what one is about? Wonder who shows up because she finds out he’s going to AA? Brooke helps counsel the young, ignored Doctor, leading to an affair.
