While it was pretty obvious after the DNC, Cindy McCain formally backed Joe Biden as president tonight:

Of course. But, for good or bad, many people hated Hillary. Unfair, but a reality. But it seems many (non-Trumpkins) like or at least respect Joe Biden. I mean, when you have Meidas Touch AND The Lincoln Project - mainly GOP - going to bat for him, that counts for something. Not to say Trump's cult still won't declare him the winner in any debates, but where it counts is the voting ballot/booth. And Biden seems to be doing better than Hillary was at this same point in 2016. Time will tell the tale. I just hope I'm right. For the sake of the country.

Peacock TV
I don't know if it extends to the Amazon Fire TV box/stick/TVs, but Peacock has finally inked a deal with Roku. You can now access the channel - if you have a Roku - in their Channel Store and add Peacock to your home screen.

Bet it's just an excuse so, if one is not done, Dump can refuse to debate at all. Biden would annihilate him, even with his own issues.

And my vote belongs to the ages! (My absentee ballot came today! Hope Joe and Kamala appreciate it! )

But the responses were awesome. Including reporting the tweet and placing phone numbers to contact for election interference.

Crowd in front of the Supreme Court, chanting "Honor her wish!" And I guess a "Ditch Mitch or Die Trying!" fund has now passed the $8 million mark. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/getmitch

If Collins is trying to SAVE her seat, as she is a Republican, she won't join Romney/Murkowski. And even if she did, there would need to be a 4th. And good luck with that.

Let's face it. There will be another zealot sullying the court. All we can hope for are two things. 1. Biden wins the election. 2. Dems take the Senate. If these two things do occur, then they can add two or three more justices and pack the court. Otherwise...

Without the Senate? No. But if we DO flip the Senate? Absolutely. Packing is the ONLY option. Murkowski only did that for cover. No one else will do so.

Oh, good. The GOP is just SALIVATING for Gilead now. No "let the voters decide!" THIS time, I'm sure. I wish there was a way to move to Canada. And may Ms. Ginsberg RIP. She was a WARRIOR.

Between the positive buzz about Biden's town hall and the Nate Silver news, it's nice to feel hopeful on my birthday. (Watch it turn back to schitt tomorrow. But I'll take what I can get! )

Sort of politically adjacent: Biden will be portrayed on SNL by...Jim Carrey.

I did like Biden's response to Trump on Twitter asking George Stephanopoulos as to why Biden did not issue a national mask mandate: "To be clear, I'm not the president. But if you donate, we can change that in November."

Yeah, good luck there. Republicans are apparently close to finishing an "investigation" (can you say BENGHAZI, PART DEUX: Electric Bugaloo?) on Hunter Biden and Ukraine and, per this article, the "results" are expected just before the election. No accident, I'm sure. And, like with Comey announcing the whole Hillary e-mail probe a week before the 2016 election, idiots will buy it, I bet.

The Hamptons
Wow, I don't recall "The Hamptons" at all! However, of the cast, Martha Byrne and Bibi Besch would act together once more, not on a soap, but in a Season 1 (1991) episode of "Silk Stalkings", titled "Dirty Laundry", where Besch played the alcoholic mother of Byrne's character.

The Hits Keep Coming for the Retail Sector
I have lived in New York State - upstate - my entire life but I have never heard of that store. Still, any retail store going under is sad, if just for the loss of jobs. I only associate Century 21 with real estate.

And surprise, surprise: Susan Sarandon is defending Ryan Knight. To think I used to like her as an actress.

Hey, y'all! Guess what? We, the taxpayers, are now paying for Don's defense in his rape case against E. Jean Carroll as the DOJ had papers filed to move the case to federal court AND name the US Government - rather than Dump - as the defendant as the accusation was made, Barr argues, while Dump is on the job. I don't want ONE CENT of my money defending this piece of schitt! https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/jean-carroll-trump-justice-department/2020/09/08/37faa380-f22a-11ea-b796-2dd09962649c_story.html The corruption NEVER ENDS.

GH: AMC FAVE Joins Cast
Wow. This surprises me. Too bad the writing sucks horribly, so she will be wasted as everyone else has been. My little preteen self loved her as Jenny in the 1980s, all the same.

That picture of a masked Joe Biden with the press. I STILL see Trump supporters using the "Joe hiding in his basement" crap. They literally have NOTHING, so they cling to outdated Trumpkin tropes. I *almost* feel sorry for them, but then I remember who they support, and that fades quickly.

Ah, @DRW50, you know I like you, but I have seen nowhere that says the GOP will keep the Senate. 538's Generic Ballot still goes for Dems, and WaPo had a recent list of flippable seats in play. So don't give up just yet.
