  1. Joe Manchin should just switch parties already. Yes, we'd be stuck with Turtle again, but at least we would be held hostage by the devil we know instead of having "I got my yacht, screw you!" Lucy Van Pelt football holder Manchin.

I think I hate Manchin as much as Turtle right now.

And Chuck Schumer is WORTHLESS as Senate Majority Leader. Say what you will about Turtle, and I have, but HE knew how to whip his party into line for his evil ideas. Chuck is WEAK.

Miranda and Steve were one of my favorite parts of SATC. I am not surprised that Michael Patrick King is lying as I never felt that he had much use for the pairing, and much of the material for Miranda  in his time as the main showrunner was shaky - the best was her relationship with Steve.  Just another relationship ruined by hackery and what seems to be another case  of having a  character become gay just because the actor who plays them went  the same path.

I am a glutton for punishment for following a show led by people I dislike and characters long ruined.

I loved the pairing of Miranda and Steve. Make no mistake: I'm ALL for LGBTQ+ representation and would have been fine with the main characters exploring such had it made sense. Miranda's turn doesn't. If you recall on the original show, she once explored that [think her job was connected somehow, my memory is hazy there], kissed a woman and felt nothing. There was nothing to suggest Miranda had any doubts about her preference/life, etc.

So Michael Patrick King claiming Miranda only married Steve because she was pregnant (and no; they exchanged ILYs at Brady's first birthday party in "One" and Miranda proposed to Steve later in S6 in "The Ick Factor") and feels trapped is just a load of crap.

I can't support such a change based on laziness and a lie. And I also don't get why Miranda has to be a lesbian/bi just because the actress playing her is. Isn't that why it's called acting?

(Steve calling Miranda to tell her about the blue moon will always be a favorite scene of mine.)

Hence why I am peacing out on this disaster.

  3. The Chris Noth news is disgusting and disappointing. Always liked him as Det. Mike Logan on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. I remembered something happening with Beverly Johnson, so...yeah.

That said, why wouldn't these women come forward when his casting announcement for The Equalizer was announced? Why did it take the SATC reboot and Big to do it?

  4. After seeing today's bull schitt interview at TV Line with Michael Patrick King lying about how and why Miranda and Steve got married, and Carrie again acting like an imbecile with Natasha, I'm done. This should have stayed a memory.

Kim Cattrall was smart as hell for not returning.

  5. An old L&O tie in with new cast member Hugh Dancy (I believe he will be an ADA/EADA?): His now-wife Claire Daines starred in an episode of the show all the way back in 1992 (pre-My So-Called Life and pre-Lennie Briscoe) as a teenage girl infatuated modeling and with a photographer that she ended up killing called "Skin Deep". (A Logan/Ceretta [Paul Sorvino] episode from Season 2.)

Same, but I love her on Chicago Med!

If I recall, had the show been renewed back in 2010, S. Epatha Merkerson was going to leave, anyway, as she had been on a long time. And I know there has been a decade-plus break, but it appears Wolf is leaving  Merkerson in the Chicago franchise (hence the Camryn Manheim casting news) and Jeremy Sisto in the FBI franchise, hence Jeffrey Donovan's character being Anthony Anderson's/Bernard's new partner.

A desk in the bathroom? That's a big Nope from me. But then again, keeping work clothes on more than 5 minutes after I get home is also a No, so CLEARLY I was not made to be a soap opera character.

Switching from bathroom talk, MAN Nancy Lee Grahn is knocking it out of the park with this pregnancy storyline. You can really feel her hurt that Mason married the drip Torie. And poor Mason too. He's stuck with the drip.

Yeah, but at the same time, it just made Mason/Julia's interactions burn that much hotter, because of the forbidden aspect. I probably should have felt sorry for Tori, but I never did. I was just annoyed by her.

  8. I thought Kyle Lowder's Brady and Chloe had chemistry, but it was a sweet/cheesy chemistry what with all of the singing, etc. This time around, I think Eric Martsolf's Brady and Chloe have a hotter spark, as adults.

I like it. And I hope Brady/Chloe get a second chance before the cartoon that is Kristens 1 and 2 (whichever one) makes Brady's life hell again.

Phillip, to me, has always been a bit of a creeper, as mentioned, he did really go to extremes to try and get Belle. Really not feeling the character anymore.

I never believed Trump had Covid either. I thought the Covid diagnosis was a successful attempt to divert attention from his tax returns and his disastrous debate performance.

Oh, he had it. If you look closely when Dump had his Evita moment on the balcony of the White House following his return, he was desperately trying to take air in. He likely got the antibody therapy, etc., being "president", and that's what saved his fat ass.

...when he lives in New Jersey.🙄

As many on Twitter were quick to point out. I guess he filed using his in-laws' address. (And Josh Hawley, Nazi-sympathizing representative of Missouri, actually lives in Virginia; again, he used an address of a family member... The address loophole needs to be closed. But it won't be.)
