Just 0.71 seperates first and third place in the Ladies competetion after the short program.

Going into the Free Skate: 1. Mirai Nagasu 2. Sasha Cohen 3. Rachael Flatt Last year's champ Alissa Czisny is in 7th place. For the Olympics the USA can only send 2 ladies. I was rooting for Rachael Flatt but my guess is even if she makes it to second place the USFSA will pick Sasha Cohen to go.

USA Ladies figure skating isn't what it used to be. I am rooting for Rachael Flatt. This year we can only send two women to the Olympics due to how they placed at last years world championships.

For the Olympics I think the event to look forward to for us USA fans is the Men's and Ice Dancing Competitions.

DANG! The commericals NBC is running makes it seem like all the championships are decided this weekend and only Pairs and Men are.

I love this show! It looks like they are going to be adding some soap-ness to it next week with this whole baby thing. The show kind of reminds me of the movie "Election" in particular the Rachel character who seems very Tracey Flick.
