  1. That's true. Revenge completely came apart in S2.

Revenge should never have gone beyond season 1 anyway, due to its premise. Empire has a lot more to work with, even more so if it stays committed to being edgy. Its family drama, business drama, and gangster drama all rolled into one.

  2. I'm glad they put this one up.

I notice Hakeem is holding Cookie hands, I wonder did they come to some understanding.

"Please do not withhold your blessings, even from hoes who hire skanks to spy on me." - Cookie Lyon

    Love this woman!

  3. Bipolar is when you have a lot of personalities, right.

No, it isn't. But why do I get the feeling that this show simply will not care? The wife has already threatened to have him committed! I can easily see Andre morphing into some tough thuggish street hood named "Antoine" who acts as Andre's "protector" so to speak.

  4. Ha! Yes, let him go completely insane, put his life and others in danger (maybe even worse) and get that divorce.

    THAT'S the response!

    DAMN laugh.png

Stay with him and put HER life in danger? I would say that the bimbo doesn't care very much about HERSELF does she? The bling bling and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ drives her.

  5. YAS. Don't get me wrong -- I love me some Cookie. But, damn, Anika shut it down with that comment.

For the sake of story and interest, I want Anika to get even better.

Exactly! Especially if she's dealt with this many times. You do what you gotta do (especially since, clearly, there's money and status involved for her).

Again, DIVORCE the alleged problem that you're married to. It's very easy!

  6. I think she probably realizes she needs Andrea mentally strong and on top of his game to hold onto the status and money.

For me as well, although Hakeem is coming up fast. lol

Yes, that was amazing. She also happens to be right. Listening to his wife does not make a man a "pus$y"

Threatening to have the man committed while he just stands there and takes it does make him a pu$$y. I personally would not have found that particularly tolerable, but that's just me.

  7. Hell, yes! I saw nothing wrong with that at all. He's probably completely unstable when he's off his meds. Who knows how many times she's dealt with his issues in the past? It's not like he just has a touch of depression.

DIVORCE? But she's too much of a gold digger for that, I'm sure. Cookie WILL step in in due time.

  8. I didn't quite care for this episode the way I did the pilot, but it was still good, and I'm in it to see where it goes over the rest of the season. Andre is bipolar, but how disappointing to see how seemingly controlled he is by his scheming wife. P-U-$-$-Y now comes to mind when describing Andre. She threatened to have him committed if he didn't stay firm on his medication. Really?

  9. This was a great premiere! There was so much being done to hook the viewers for the next installment. I find myself very drawn to the character of Andre. Not only is he sexy (I love his lips) but there's a potential story there with him that intrigues me. Could he indeed have some mental illness requiring medication? Perhaps a split personality?

  10. I can't see a character like Eddie lasting very long, not in his current state. He is way too vicious and angry. Characters like him usually wind up with a bullet between their eyes sooner or later. He admitted to Esperanza that he's crazy and I keep thinking that he'll probably end up raping her or something.

  11. I just saw this and the acting is so bad from all parties. The actor who plays Edward is seriously over the top. This isn't the first time that tv shows have had jealous, bitter ex-husbands, but he's too far over simple bitterness and jealousy. He has a military background so two scenarios seem possible to me: 1.) He's suffering from PTSD. 2.) He's an angry closeted homo who got kicked out of the military back when DADT was in effect.

  12. Wyatt is NOT gay! Lol, you are the only one trying to make that happen. The show has addressed it and moved on from that. Wyatt and Jeff aren't happening outside of fanfic

I'm trying to make Jeffrey and Wyatt happen? I am not a WRITER on this show. And your rather silly and abrasive response to a simple post makes it appear almost as if you're worried.

  13. Good black don't crack. He has GOOD skin too. I thought he and his character were about 24-26ish myself

btw, the actor that plays Landon looks good. He will be the obligatory eye candy with Benny still out of commission

Jeffrey's boyfriend is so handsome. Kudos to TP for depicting handsome, sexy, and somewhat refined gay dudes rather than the ordinary stereotypical joes often seen on daytime soaps. I still wonder though if Jeffrey and Wyatt are endgame, and Landon has been added as a catalyst to that.

  14. I remember this soap vividly. It aired during my years living in Chicago on WFLD channel 32 weeknights at 7:30p.m. I watched its entire run and I knew throughout the whole time that the show was struggling. To this day, I think that's too bad because I always felt that there was some potential SOMEWHERE with this show. Like it could've been really good with much better writing and stories. I thought many of the actors were great, so they already had that in place. Better writers were needed to really make it work. I just loved the name: TAYLOR CHAPIN VON PLATEN! WHAT A NAME! LOL.

  15. Wyatt telling V her son is gay is one thing----telling her Jeff propositioned him is another. All Wyatt wants is Jeffrey to keep his horny ass out of Wyatt's personal life. So I say Wyatt wins either way. Jeff is only telling Mommy 'cause Wyatt's forced his hand.

    I don't know---it looks like Katherine is on Wyatt's side. That's a win.

I will say TP can sell his show. I hadn't seen the after-show-promo before now. It's too bad he can't live up to his own hype.

Wyatt can TELL Veronica what he wants but where's the proof? This is why I keep wondering where's the hidden tape? The photos? Something? Does he still have the hidden webcam which quite frankly can be interpreted a number of ways? And Veronica would probably ask Wyatt why it took him so long to tell her or show her the info on Jeffrey. Quite frankly, I'd like to know why it's taken him this long myself.

  16. I don't think Wyatt has to have Jeffrey on tape; the threat of going to Veronica is more than enough to get whatever he wants. Veronica already knows---but hearing that Jeff is propositioning his patient/rehab client/whatever the hell Wyatt is to him---will make Jeff's life a living hell.

I want to like the Katherine/Jim showdown---but it was so repetitive and long---Jim must have asked/told/harassed her to go to talk to Amanda 15 times----that it kills the momentum for me. It's great that Katherine knows all about Seline and keeps her employed to make her miserable---but then again, what makes Kat think Jim GAS if his "sin" is staring him in the face every day?

I get that Katherine is so emotionally scarred that she literally doesn't trust her friends or family to GAS about her now that she's sick---but WHAT THE HELL is wrong with these people that neither Jim or Amanda can look at her in her bed all day long and think something's wrong? Not to mention she's missing one or more boobs?

TP really needs an editor. Between Jim harassing Kat about talking to Amanda and Veronica lecturing David on his "graceful" lies, I wanted to puncture my eardrums. Candace could have shown up in more than two scenes if each of those points had been made ONCE and ONLY once.

Wyatt has NOTHING! LOL. He wanted to run off to tell Jeffrey's very firece mother that her son is gay. If Veronica didn't want to hear those words from her own son, she definitely would not have stood for hearing it from someone else. Either way, Wyatt's threat to tattle on Jeffrey is neutralized by next week because he spills the beans himself. Wyatt loses on all fronts, including the fact that he goes back to using again.

  17. This episode made the entire first season for me.

Perry let Wyatt use his brain and trapped Creeper Jeffrey perfectly. Right up until he hit him with the golf club. Did anyone else see him try and plead his case to Wyatt to keep him from leaving?

Trapped Creeper Jeffrey how? Again, if it's not on tape, Wyatt has nothing! I think Wyatt just saw this as fun and games, and he now has a really hurt head as a result.

  18. OK, so did Wyatt get any of this on tape? Because if he didn't, I have no idea what his ongoing "investigation" into Jeffrey was about. Seems like the only "payoff" Wyatt received was getting his head bashed in and I'm sure that wasn't the payoff he was looking for.

  19. I can't wait for next week, from the previews. When Wyatt is like "don't you wanna sleep with me?" to Jeffrey. Total set-up. Love this crap.

And when Jeffrey slipped and said "me" in regards to people who want to sleep with him... dead. What a hot mess.

LOL. But next week, Jeffrey is also seen telling Wyatt "I'M NOT GAY". Who's playing whom? I think they're both coming off silly at this point. Jeffrey knows himself and Wyatt has known about Jeffrey for awhile now as well, but he chooses to engage in this ridiculous dance with Jeffrey.

  20. Just caught up with the last two episodes. Or Lordie. biggrin.png OK We've been told how incredibly smart Wyatt is and he has squandered that with the drugs... I don't know what made them think he was smart. He has no idea what a friendship bracelet is. *pause* "What's that?" He still needs "evidence" that Jeffrey is in love with him? (Oh and I thought Wyatt gave him that bracelet from before, but now we're told that Jeffrey fetched it out of the garbage...) But Jeffrey has the emotional intelligence of an 8 year old with a crush on her best friend's older brother, so... How he got a therapy degree is amazing--maybe he was raped by his prof too.

Wyatt and how he delivers every line passive aggressively exactly the same--even the "nice" ones is hysterical. As is that detective who apparently now kinda has a heart....

OWN must be making a big profit on this--each episode looks cheaper than a PP online soap.

If Wyatt knew that Jeffrey retrieved the bracelet from the garbage, why did he confess to having given the bracelet to Jeffrey? I'm keeping my eyes on Wyatt!

  21. I assume that Katheryn and Veronica are very much aware of the sleeping arrangement that Jeffrey the therapist has with his patient Wyatt. Given that both women know about Jeffrey's "sweetness", I'm surprised that they, and especially Veronica, haven't tried to discourage Jeffrey and Wyatt sleeping in the same room together.
