Emmys apparently not classifying AHS as a limited series this year. Apocalypse will compete as a drama.

LOL! I was wondering why that ATP tweet in my earlier post was missing.

After Mary's death in 1986 was a good example.

Thank you! I’ll search for those episodes.

Very mature response from the 18-year-old Canadian.

I also liked the complex brother/sister relationship that Mason and Eden had. They could (and did) quarrel like nobody's business, but were always there for each other when the chips were down.
I wish I’d seen that during the bits of pre-1991 SaBa I watched (Eden’s rape). Any particular era when that relationship really came to the fore?

So disappointing that Vika had to retire.

And Roger, not the most decorated clay court player in history, gets the prime position. (Yes, I know RF hasn’t played the clay season in years, so there’s novelty, but still. And RF has only committed to two clay tournaments this year.)

at Edmund profiting from Murray’s absence in Britain. Benefits of being The One in a pretty big sports market.

Chris Daughtry became a huge star after he got elimated from American Idol.
Totally, which is why that was such good shade. Katharine was trying to throw Taylor Hicks under the bus (in a very classless way), but she got her tactics thrown right back in her face.

Vika vs. Garbiñe could be a popcorn match in Monterrey if they both bring it.

Abby and Meghan are children of conservative politicians and of extreme privilege so they’ve been steeped in a worldview since birth, although I agree Abby at least comes across as insincere in her convictions. I just don’t buy her. At all.
I couldn’t stand Elisabeth, and most of the time I even appreciated when Barbara would check her. Barbara has always been imperious, and I imagine as a pioneering woman in TV news she suffered a great deal. But her behavior in that audio clip as well as throughout much of her tenure on The View showed a real ugly side.

Yeah. My sense about Goutman (I lost interest in ATWT) was that he was bad in addition to callous and stubborn and made poor, ugly choices, even when he didn’t have to, out of nasty spite.
