Those are the biggest

episodes yet and I

don't think any of

the readers know

what is coming.

Yeah Drew it is the last one.

I looked at my plans and when

I wrote it I didn't think it would

be like this but it's cool. If I do

long shows it's better on Friday

anyway. They won't be like this

though. It did set things up well

for next week which is HUGE.

I love Jillie and they are so fun to

write for. I get huge plans for

them.

Seth and Paul are kind of props

but they have a purpose.

Thanksgiving I started early

because so much happens next

week so I wanted it to be realistic.

Yeah this one was long

but that is my fault.

I had too much happening

in this episode. Monday's

was more reasonable

and things will get

better, especially next

week. They won't be

like other blogs but

it won't be obscenely

long like they have

been.

I put the blame on

me for this one. I

re-arranged some

stuff to do a special

show to honor Days

on Wednesday and

that resulted in a long

episode on Tuesday.

We have had longer

shows then this so

I didn't think this was

too bad but coming

off my vow to make

things shorter it

looked bad.

My apologies readers.

I didn't lie-things will

be shorter. I promise

Yeah and I also

thought it would

be a treat to

long time fans.

Steve/Kayla once

went there to look

for Stephanie and

now they are being

held captive there

and loved ones

are coming for

them.

Oh how I wish

the actual show

could do this. A

location shoot

in Australia would

rock for this story.

Nope. I can't

tell you much

but this is not

going the route

of King's blog.

Will will play a

role in Alan/Sami

though but there

will be no

relationship I

promise you.

They do have a friendship

though which will be

explained in time.

As for Nicole, I can't

tell you Actor but her

story will be huge over

the next few weeks.

Yeah the delivery is

sometimes off but

everyone has a

style. I am

trying to improve

on just getting to

the point but I

won't shorten

things for the

reasons I

mentioned.

I totally see

view though.

I hope you

will continue

reading as good

stuff is coming.

Drew-the reason for the

long episodes is twofold.

1.) I want my episodes

detailed enough where

the reader can imagine

and visualize what is

happening like they

are watching the show.

2.) I want them to grasp

the characters and

understand why they

are doing something,

which is harder to convey

in writing rather then on

TV. I can only do it with

words. I try to mix it up

a little with dialogue at

times and I do keep things

short once in awhile but

I will not shorten an

episode just to make it

easier to read. That is

not my goal here. My

readers have told me

they like my style.

There were times when

an episode was too long

but for big reveal episodes

sometimes it happens. I

personally hate short

episode in fan fic. They

are easier to read but

don't explain anything or

fill the reader in if they

missed something

pertaining to a scene.

It's a matter of opinion

and perference-simple

as that.

Everyone has a style and

you may have lost interest

but others may not. We were

2nd in the ratings last week

so I guess we are doing

something right.

They have been off the

island since July so yeah

that hell is over.

Max/Cassie was not

a plan of mine and either

was keeping Cassie but I

just love writing for her

but this story will go to

places you don't think it

will.

I am not doing a Will/Alan

romance but Will will be

involved in the Alan story

in an interesting way.

Eric and Nicole are short-term.

I really don't like them as a couple

either but this story is being done

for an underlying reason so stick

with it.

Cal is faux Roman and you will

be learning more about him in the

weeks ahead.

Laura is far from being Kate. You

will see in November when I bring Bill

into this. She has different reason then

Kate and the Kate/Laura feud is in full bore.

There is a deeper reason behind Laura's

recent interference.

Steve/Kayla I kept vague like alot

of the way spoilers because they are

the big stories and there is some huge

shockers coming up so the vagueness

was on purpose.

The shorter format will

continue for a while.

There will be long

episodes here and

there but I am doing

my best to keep them

reasonable. I want

people to be able to

read them and not fall

asleep from reading

That was so hard to do

because I never cared

for Shelle but I love

Martha so I gave her

something good .

Shawn will be recasted

but not for awhile. The

cast is big as it is and

I have something in

mind for him that

needs some buildup

first.

what it is but how it is

emotional. I actually

did some dialogue for

it. The Steve/Kayla story

is going to be a very

emotional one and will

be huge over the next few

months .

for people to get into

They are cousins and that is

partly why Shawn wants to

leave. He knows they

shouldn't be together.

That and he hates

what his relationship

with Belle has done

to her. She chose to

stay in Salem and

went back on her promise

to stand by Philip during

his recovery and that is

not Belle-like. He also

wants to make it up to

Philip in a way by joining

the Marines so he feels

he needs this.

Yeah I know daysfan.

I think alot of people

are reluctant to reunite

them right away because

Zach's death and everything

around it is something that

should tear them apart for

awhile. I mean reuniting

them so quick is like saying

the last 9 months didn't

happen and that always

happens with Days.

Couples reunite and then

everything is happy. I am

trying to be realistic and Bope

have a long way to go but it

will be realistic, emotional road

that will take them back to their

roots.

No mind control

or hypnosis but I will

say there is more to it

that will be delved into

the next few weeks.

They are not separate

funerals simply because

I don't have two months

to devote to them .

Thay triple funeral was tacky

but if you think about it these

funerals should be done together

unlike that one.

Jennifer and Mickey are Horton's so

the same people would come to both.

Shawn Sr is a Brady and the Brady's

and Horton's are close and Marlena was,

and may still be a Brady since John may

be Roman, and she is a close friend to

the Horton's.

The same people are going to be coming

in and it would be impossible to keep a large

canvas like that for the length it would take.

I don't see this as tacky. I have actually

heard of multiple funerals.
