^^^ The same thing happens in prime time. They film too much, and then end up having to cut scenes. At least prime time DVD's usually feature some of these cut scenes... I can only imagine how many of Jane's scenes have been cut throughout the years. We deserve to see that goodness!

 

There was a daily spoiler years ago during the monkey virus story when Dillon almost died, and Mac was supposed to comfort Tracy. That got cut too. I wasn't rooting for a Tracy and Mac romance or anything, but I love when Jane gets to play vulnerable, and she would have gotten to do so in that scene. We still got the really good stuff with Tracy at Dillon's bedside, but I think Mac comforting her would have been good as well. 

 

hooked, as you know, I was able to see the Periscope that WUBS retweeted, but it didn't have Jane... It's expired now 'cause like you said they only last 24 hours, but there wasn't anything with Jane in the one I saw.

I am not feeling too optimistic about the new writers. It will be only their stories from October onward, I believe, but they've had input before then. And unfortunately, they've already cut scenes from this month involving Tracy/Paul/Dillon. It's also been spilled by someone credible IMO that Tracy/Laura/Paul and the ELQ story both have been scaled back. Thinking yesterday was the last time in another month or so before we see Tracy again. But she was of course awesome. Loving her and Paul. He doesn't seem like a jerk this time around. Woo hoo!

I didn't realize until last night that Tracy/Paul/Dillon August scenes had been cut. I just thought that Tracy/Paul/Laura story (and the ELQ one) had been scaled back which I interpreted as they'll still be on at one point, just not as much as planned. Who knows now, though...

 

I too prefer Michael as a Quartermaine. And I miss Avery at the Q's. And it makes me mad that Tracy is one of the few characters NOT at the Carson wedding. Not that she has a reason to go anymore as Luke is out of the picture. But I just hate when large cast events don't involve our girl.

BILLY:  Maurice and I talk about it all the time in the hallway … we are ready to fire it up.  You know, Tony Geary (Luke) on his way out said to me, “We had one scene together. This is b*s.”  Tony was very good to me, and so too has been Jane Elliot (Tracy).  I like to think I am easy to get along with.

Now if we can just see her onscreen again. I know there is FINALLY a spoiler for Tracy for the week of August 24th, so hopefully it plays out. She and Paul are supposed to bond over their love for Dillon. 

Jane and Finola at the end is the most recent opening, right? Separate from the opening that has Tony at the end.

 

I have a feeling that Jane will be mixed in the middle somewhere. I think her importance on the show and in the credits is less now that Tony is gone.  

 

I know this isn't the first time she's been offscreen for so long, but it's still really frustrating.

I know real life is hectic for a lot of us, and in a couple days, I don't think I'll be posting as much as I did over the summer, but if anyone is lurking and wants to say something, please oh please!!! This Tracy drought is driving me crazy!!!

No Tracy makes me sad.  March and June were really only her "good" months in terms of screen time this year. Last month we just had 7 episodes, but I guess that's not terrible. Nancy Lee Grahn isn't getting much to do either. I know not all of us are a fan of her, but I like her, and both Tracy and Alexis are worthy of more screen time.

 

No Tracy spoilers either... but there supposedly is a casting call for an assistant district attorney to the new district attorney, Paul Hornsby.

Great nomination list. So hard to think of everything that's happened with LuNacy. It shouldn't be that hard, especially since they didn't even have that much compared to other couples on throughout the years. But yet, I am having difficulty.

I should be around. Sometimes I go to my parents on the weekends for food, lol, but 3 is after lunch time, so it should be fine.

As for Tracy, post-Luke... I do want Tracy and Paul. But not Paul of the past. I don't want him to be pining after someone else while he's forced to be with her. If they are a couple, it has to be because he has feelings for her. I want him to to treat her well, like a lady should be treated, someone like Joe Jr., except without his history. Tracy can maybe express doubts about being in a serious relationship with Paul, but he assures he's not the same man anymore, and then we actually get to proof of that. Now I am inclined to say bring on some soapy drama once they are established as a real couple - maybe he starts to fall for someone else - but Tracy's at that point in her life where she deserves a happy relationship ending, and in my little world, this new relationship with Paul is it. Until Luke comes back. Then, she has a decision to make.

So, that is one option. Another option is that Tracy gets sick... Someone here in the new writer thread suggested Tracy gets breast cancer, and that could result in Tracy/Monica bonding. I know breast cancer has been done so many times before, so maybe another illness. But nothing that kills her or puts in her a coma or anything like that. But Tracy being sick would give Jane awesome material, and it's not something we've seen a lot of. I mean, really, she's been sick twice in her entire time on the show? Funny how it was 2 years in a row - 2009 toxic balls and 2010 on Cassadine Island. Am I missing a time?

And another option would be to continue to focus on ELQ and get it back from Nikolas. Tangle with Helena. More of the Quartermaines coming together. Michael/Tracy had some good scenes. Let's see more of that. Tracy/Sabrina. Bring Ned back, Brook Lynn... Maybe Maya and Ethan? Get Monica involved. So silly how Tracy may forget about ELQ to "find herself." As if she would take time to do that while ELQ is in the hands of an outsider. We know Alexis is already on the case, so we could get Tracy/Alexis scenes. Maybe Paul plays a role. Laura is on Nik's side, so you get Tracy/Laura. You get Tracy wiping the floor clean with Elizabeth. Lulu doesn't know which side to be on but she has bigger things on her mind because she finds out the truth about Dante and Valerie, and then Tracy/Valerie can get confrontational scenes. Tracy/Dante. Tracy/Lulu. Laura/Lulu.

What else? They can finally do that rumored long long daughter story line...Hayden's been rumored. Ellie was rumored at one point. Skye was rumored, but she and Ned were an item, so there is that ick factor. A new character perhaps? Pretty sure Sam was rumored at one point too before it came out she was Alexis' daughter, but again, the ick factor with Jason...

I don't like that there haven't been any Tracy spoilers. I thought there was supposed to be stuff for her and Paul coming up, or I guess I was just assuming, but seems like that's not happening in the near future. And that conversation about Tracy finding herself and doing something non-Luke and non-ELQ related makes it sound like Jane won't be on GH for awhile. Noooooo!

TL, what browser do you use? I think a chatroom should work on your iPad. But Chrome seems to have compatibility issues, and you will need to update Java, but that is on a PC too.

As for vidding, I have very few clips of Lunacy from recent years. It would just be repeating the clips from other videos, lol.

^^^ Hey ILTQ. Hope things are okay with work. And I'm sorry we didn't get to do the posting live thing. I think a lot of us wanted to watch as soon as we could. Sad to think that no more TG/JE scenes.

I agree that it's surprising RB hasn't been on more. All the other new actors are on all the time, it seems, why not him? I liked the breakfast scenes and am hoping for more of that.

I would also like Dillon/Tracy to discuss the end of Luke and Tracy's relationship. Would be interesting to hear his thoughts. Seems like he has stuff coming up with Valerie? Ugh.

Did anyone else think it was kind of odd the way Luke was so insistent that everything was fine, but then he was like, "You're right. I need to figure things out." Maybe if there was an episode in between and he had more time to think about it, it would be different. But he changed his mind so fast.

RC is out as head writer. The new writers are ones recently fired from Y&R. Points to RC for seeming to like Tracy, though, and for writing for Jane outside of Tony. But it was clear GH wasn't doing well overall. Not sure if these new writers are the answer, though, and I hope that Tracy's fall story still pans out.

It seems like he doesn't want to live with the fact that he killed his mother. I didn't get the impression that it was because he couldn't be with Tracy. Maybe that made him more vulnerable, but it wasn't the reason. Luke's father appeared (played by Tony Geary, like in April) and encouraged him to pull the trigger, but his sister, Patricia (younger version), and mother (played by Laura Wright, like in April) convinced him otherwise. Bobbie came at the end and was wondering about the gun, but Luke said it was a bad, fleeting idea. Tomorrow, he and Bobbie share goodbye scenes.
