  1. When Kat's available. Apparently, my girl, Katlock, is on the Lynette Wise case.
  2. If they did do that, I would stop watching. BTG IS MVJ. She's doing a fine job.
  3. Sooooooo glad Anita is better. Glad to see Peaches. Sometimes I swear the writers read the boards and Reddit. Just look at Ted admitting he neglected Kat and Martin after Anita spoke to him.
  4. I'm hoping to see Darlene hold her own against Leslie mouthing off.
  5. Maybe Bill's existential feelings will circle back to more appearances of Hayley's special brew?
  6. Hey, y'all. I'm sorry if I got carried away "writing" the other day. I hope no one thinks that I'm another play account owned by that person. I'm not. I've been here awhile and I haven't posted as much as I used to, but I read everything. I just wanted to chime in to say that I agree that MVJ is not the problem. She did a great job on B&B and GH and she deserved the chance to bring her vision to life. We all fell in love with the show last year, and that's why we're still watching, and that is thanks to Michelle and her foundation that she built. If anything, Guza was steering the show a bit too Joey-centric (which continues) and Tracey seems to move stories along without payoff. Michelle's consistency is what is holding it all together. Just my 2 cents.
  7. This made me lol so hard that my wine sprayed from my nose!
  8. Tamara Tunie is amazing! There are no words. Why did I put on eye makeup today? My face is a mess.
  9. Oh, yes, completely subjective. That why I said "it seems." I'm glad you're still enjoying the show. I still enjoy the characters (most of them), but I wish more was happening. I want a nice balance between last year's breakneck pace and this year's snail pace.
  10. Hayley finds out from office gossip that Tomas knew Bill kissed Dani. Hayley uses this info to frame Dani for Tomas's murder. In reality, she killed him because he was questioning too much about her and Lynette. Dani and Andre break up. He believes that she did not kill Tomas, but the revelation of the kiss being in the papers and media is too much for him. (This may be because there is still another reason why Andre doesn't want his picture taken.) Hayley realizes Lynette is a liability and asks Randy to arrange an accident. Randy has real feelings for Lynette and can't do that, so Hayley takes matters into her own hands and drugs Lynette with potassium, eventually finishing her off in the hospital, essentially framing Leslie, though her motive for killing Lynette is unknown. There is enough evidence that Leslie is arrested, for a murder she didn't even commit.
  11. Then, eff the plasma story for its own sake, but I would like to see either Smitty or Jacob get gravely injured (and live) and deal with the fallout between Naomi and Martin (who seem close). Maybe Ren follows Smitty to the cotillion and shoots him there, making it an event that means something. Of course, Naomi is pregnant and plans to have an abortion, and is shocked to see Eva at the clinic, without her brother-in-law, Izaiah.
  12. It seems the ONLY good episodes are the depressing ones surrounding Anita and her cancer, and that's a shame. Since nothing else is going on that has any substance, there is no counterbalance to the melancholy. Smitty and Jacob and the whole plasma story is ridic, Nicole and her middle school triangle is pathetic, and the invisible clinic is a huge letdown. Leslie has been turned into a crazy clown, and it is not the comic relief we need. First thing I'd do is get rid of Tomas (have Hayley get rid of him for learning too much), and move Kat into Izaiah's orbit. Have Leslie drive him so crazy that he starts listening to Kat and they get closer. He helps investigate Leslie and has a new appreciation of his law-enforcement family. Fortunately, Kat and Izaiah don't have to play by the rules to get shiz done. Meanwhile, Eva feels that Izaiah is distancing himself from her. She puts all her effort into the clinic to occupy her mind. She leans on Derek for support because Leslie is driving her crazy, too. One day, Eva sees Kat sharing a tender moment with Izaiah. Kat is overwhelmed by taking care of Anita and she breaks down and Izaiah hugs her. Eva misunderstands and feels like Kat finally got her revenge for Eva/Tomas. Impulsively, Eva seduces Derek to make herself feel better. She becomes pregnant.
  13. I've been ghostwriting all types of books professionally for years. I would love the gig! How do you sign up? No, seriously - how? I've been writing professionally since certain writers were nothing more than online soap fan boys (IYKYK).
  14. People don't have to get along and be a happy family just because they share blood. Kat and Eva would never give each other the time of day if they weren't related and shared DNA doesn't just change everything. I realized this in my family when I took a long, hard look and found that I would NEVER be friends with any of these people if it weren't for blood.
  15. I haven't been on here in a long time (see GH's Sonny in a Santa hat), and I'm two episodes behind, but I just have to say this: I have turned Team Kat ALL THE WAY! I was for Eva because I love underdogs, and especially those bullied by the rich, but a situation in my family has helped me see the light. Have you ever looked at a relative and thought that they are so insufferable that you have no idea how anyone likes them? That's what Kat is feeling. And, no one is listening to her when the offender is so obvious and blatant. She's the one that looks like the a-hole, and not the person that slept with her boyfriend and effed over her family. I don't blame Kat at all and I'm tired of everyone saying she needs to chill. I just HAD to get that off my chest. Thx.
  16. Good article! Best and worst of soaps... 2025 https://medium.com/@soapscene/f30712e80625
  17. The eye mites didn't do it for you, huh?
  18. I prefer around December 3rd for the tree. Anita getting horrible news near Christmas IS, unfortunately, realistic. My closest friend died last year on Christmas day. Also, more ppl are off work for the holidays and might see it and think about getting checked.
  19. Don't ppl realize that those that take the time to criticize a piece of media must love it in order to do so? Who has the bandwith, time, or energy to dissect anything that they don't care about? Those that are pressed over that need to log off and touch grass. Only my abusive parents would fight about fighting./js
  20. I kind of liked how the Black ladies from RHOP told Vanessa to stop with that foolishness and that she's a nasty hoe.
  21. I let my teenager help me bus tables at work when others (hired workers) wouldn't pitch in. And, you're right - it didn't go over that big with the boss.
