  1. I don’t know about these episodes in particular, though I assume it would work the same. I’ve found if an episode isn’t listed you can search the actual episode number (example 1234) and it should appear in the results.
  2. A Y&R equivalent of this would be amazing. I’m not familiar with how easy it is when it comes to rights and who owns what, but i’d definitely sign up.
  3. I don’t know if it’s been mentioned anywhere else, but is this service available internationally as well? I’m subscribed to the youtube membership currently but will happily swap if this is an option.
  4. Appreciate the answer @Dion We don’t get credits here (at least not for Neighbours) so i’ve not seen them since the reboot. Though at least I didn’t miss any kind of tribute/thank you/acknowledgement sort of thing.
  5. Question for anyone in the US/UK watching on Prime, did you guys get any kind of special end credits? To the surprise of nobody, the channel 10 airing just ended abruptly and went straight into Law & Order. I’m wondering if I missed some kind of tribute?
  6. So I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but it’s a B&B thread so i’ll give it a shot. I haven’t been current on the show in years but i’ve been using their YT channel to slowly catch up on stuff i’ve missed. I recently finished 2019 and was curious, was there a Christmas episode that didn’t air? There’s a lot of mentions of a Christmas party happening but i’m not sure if that was meant to air or if it was just an off-screen event that was spoken about a lot. Also on the show New Year happens around what would be the 2nd week of Jan (real time), i’m guessing there was some kind of interruption to the show around the Christmas period to push things back? It’s totally irrelevant, but I am curious.
  7. I was absolutely heartbroken hearing this during the show this afternoon. I’m genuinely devastated. I grew up with Harold, teenage me watched Harold and now i’m late 30’s watching Harold. I’m glad Ian got to have one final run in his amazing career.
  8. Don’t think it’s been posted, but here are spoilers for the rest of the year. From reading it, it sounds exciting hopefully it comes across on screen too. Obviously don’t click the link if you don’t want spoilers. https://www.backtothebay.net/news/2024/11/18/neighbours-gives-first-details-of-huge-2024-season-finale/
  9. So in the continuing world of Channel 10 having no clue what on earth they’re doing, Neighbours will in fact be staying at 4 days a week in Australia. https://tvtonight.com.au/2024/10/network-10-reverses-neighbours-decision-continues-at-4-episodes-a-week.html Why they changed their minds? Who knows but personally i’m glad they did. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks 10 wanted to axe the show once the initial lot of episodes were up (unless they already are) and decided to use this to test audience reaction to losing Neighbours a second time. The realistic side of me then kicks in and remembers that 10 doesn’t care about viewers reactions. (end rant)
  10. Interesting, for me it’s the opposite. I’ve enjoyed this new version of Neighbours better than anything that was put out from 2011-2022 (obviously with a few exceptions). It hasn’t been perfect, I hate the 4pm timeslot and i’m still not used to 4 days a week, but otherwise I think the writing’s been mostly solid (aside from anything involving Wendy).
  11. Firstly, Shane naming his son after his father is an excellent choice, I love that. Secondly, it’ll be great to see those episodes 2 months after the rest of the world does because Channel 10 here in Aus has bizarrely decided to drop to 3 eps a week until mid-December. https://tvtonight.com.au/2024/10/neighbours-slips-back-to-3-episodes-per-week.html
  12. I have no clue how it actually rated in terms of viewers, but here in Aus Neighbours was trending on twitter during and after the Thursday episode which is something that doesn’t ordinarily happen. It probably doesn’t mean much, but at least there is still some decent level of audience for the show over here which is good to see.
  13. I know this is long overdue and others have probably already said it, but Hannah Monson has been absolutely brilliant as Nicolette. She’s managed to turn around a character that originally had no redeeming qualities into someone I enjoy seeing on screen. So great.
  14. A couple more recommendations for you, the death of Helen Daniels (mostly because of how significant a character she was) and whatever episodes are available of Karl’s affair with Sarah.
  15. If we’re including Australian soaps as well, Neighbours had a brief period of time in the late 90s-early 2000s where none of the original Robinson family was on the show. Eventually Paul returned in the final episode of 2004 and has been on the show since, but there was a Robinsonless time which now seems unheard of.
  16. It’s been years since i’ve watched B&B (though i’m trying to catch up) but many of the complaints I used to hear were 10 not uploading uncut episodes of B&B even though they’re supposed to be same day, can any other Aussie’s confirm if this is still the case. I only ask because i’d hate to go from HD quality, same day as the US, unedited Y&R to the really clunky edits I remember B&B having.
  17. They must’ve seen the story of Dr. Karl: Poo Jogger and thought it was Emmy-worthy. Seriously though, i’m absolutely thrilled for Neighbours. Ever since they returned they’ve put on some of their best stuff since at least 2010.
  18. I don’t know if it was just me, but today’s ending knocked me for a loop. I genuinely did not see that coming.
  19. @Liberty City I won’t mention anything regarding the current spoiler (mostly because I don’t know how the spoiler tags work properly). However (insert character here) was planned to leave the show before its cancellation in 2022 and their storyline was changed around. If I remember correctly it was going to be part of the end of year cliffhanger. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they do end up leaving now. That said i’m thinking about things from 2 years ago so I could be way off mark, it could be best to completely ignore me.
  20. Very surprised about Summer coming back, I can’t even remember the last time she or any of the Hoyland family were referenced on the show (well aside from Izzy I guess). Also is it not a bit early for the Christmas stuff? Unless the show’s taking a break for a few weeks over the Christmas/New Year period in which case their end of year is happening pretty soon maybe?
  21. Just a heads up for any Aussie viewers, due to the Melbourne Cup events this week Tuesday’s and Thursday’s episodes won’t be on 10 but instead on 10Peach at 6:30pm.
  22. November 13th-16th confirmed as Flashback Week. It will be filling in the gaps of the 2 year timeskip. Very minor episode descriptions in the link if you want to avoid spoilers. But no characters are mentioned at all. https://tvtonight.com.au/2023/10/neighbours-flashback-week.html
  23. I loved the little tribute to Lou in today’s episode. The love/hate relationship between him and “Jellybelly” was always a highlight to watch. I can’t remember if they gave him a mention in the finale so this was nice to see. Also I hope they’re not getting rid of the school. One of the best parts of the show was each time period having its own class of students. The Toadie/Billy/Anne/Lance/Hannah era of the late 90s, the Stingray/Dylan/Sky/Serena era from the early 2000s, Rachel/Declan/Donna/Zeke and occasionally Kyle when they needed a bully from the late 2000’s. It wasn’t so great going through the 2010’s but I always thought it was an important part of the show.
  24. Did anyone find Nell interacting with Paul weird at all? Not because it was badly acted or anything, just the idea of Paul and Nell having conversations just seems odd given that for her entire life on the show Nell’s been a toddler that very rarely speaks.
  25. Very fun episode to start the week. I’m completely on board with Evil Nell. I think it’s a great idea and a character direction I never saw the show going. I can’t wait to see how it progresses. Also something I noticed was that Neighbours was trending on twitter here in Australia this afternoon. I normally don’t think much of twitter trends, but this doesn’t happen. None of the 4 episodes last week did decent ratings (Top 20 shows) in any category. So to see the show actually being talked about by an Aussie audience is so refreshing.
