  1. Talent-wise, Jennifer Landon is a stronger actress. As for Alexa Havins... I feel like she'd sign a typical three-to-four year deal and then bounce out. I feel like Landon is the more secure of the two options.
  2. Oh, he was always on Miller's team. ALWAYS. And she was on his. Once a writer exits or an actor exits (knowing they won't go back) is usually when their true feelings come out. It's commonplace, hahaha.
  3. If I remember correctly, I think he even mentioned him leaving was what he needed to do because of his behaviour surrounding Chad and how he was coming off, and that he needed the time away that he had. From Soap Opera Digest, via Soaps.com: ❝ Because he was afraid to lose everything he had during his initial run as Chad, Flynn recalled trying to control everything, which eventually trickled down from work to other parts of his life. So, during his time away from Salem, “I just focused on myself. There were so many parts of myself that I’d forgotten and I just got in touch with that again.” Those things included boxing, jiu-jitsu, and his wife – all of which he reported makes him better at his job. “Now, I’m in great shape. I’m super-clear-headed. I have perspective on what’s important. I’m a better actor now.” Now that he’s back, he’s learned not to take from his personal life to help tell Chad’s story. Describing that approach as “cutting yourself over and over again,” Flynn said, “Chad is a character that has been through so much and I was going through so much in my life. I just never got out of it. I’ve had so much grief and so much depression I was doing things in my off time to cope that weren’t healthy for me.” Instead, he’s learned he can access the feelings needed to portray Chad without being in it. Admitting he was a little nervous approaching the work in a new way, he relayed, “After the first day, I was like, ‘Oh, okay, I can do this. I can do it in a safe and healthy way. I can still tell the story. I still feel good about my work. It feels good.’” ❞
  4. Finally at the first season finale.... whew.
  5. Laura & Richard annoy me... plus, from the moment Richard met Valene I got this vibe he was going to R-her.... whew.
  6. Not a clue... but it would've been neat, LOL! And then maybe, just maybe, Pam could've shown up in Knots Landing, instead of dying in a car crash. 🤣
  7. Not Priscilla Pointer playing a different character on Knots than she did on Dallas. Missed opportunity to cross her Dallas character over, even briefly.
  8. I'm going through it. Haha. 🤣 It's interesting.
  9. This biker episode is... insane, LOL!
  10. Well, she is English but moved to the States when she was younger. By 15, she lost the accent and adopted a more American one.
  11. Goddamn... Joan Van Ark is brilliant! Oh wow. Thank goodness Knots didn't kick off before Dallas.
  12. Emily O'Brien was using her natural accent as Theresa; she just polished it a bit more. The English accent is the one she puts on, as evident here:
  13. No. Ferrin remains booked in primetime with some film work. Amazing.
  14. No word on cancelation but Finnigan is still living in Canada, and it got an American premiere last year. And considering Vinessa Antoine couldn't pull off her series and being on General Hospital... I doubt they'd do the same for Finnigan. It's clearly one user trying to impose another name over one they don't prefer. They're taking the cast of Lulu serious in landing a series regular to make Lulu viable again. And Landon could do that over Finnigan.
  15. The way The CW's did it was right, honestly. I know people saw problem with that series but when they were right, they were RIGHT!
  16. I am aware, but her name isn't the one being tossed into play. Plus, she's a main character on Moonshine, which seems to still be in active production in Canada.
  17. But the quote is that it's a multi Emmy winner. Havins has only earned one Emmy nomination. Jen Landon won three consecutive wins in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. I like Havins but she is not Lulu.
  18. Seeing Maura West in the top five is how it should be. She's magic and shines when her talent is able to be seen. 🥰
  19. And just like Elaine Princi, I prefer the replacement. And to think, Cherie Jimenez auditioned prior to Banus' casting... oh the ways could've been 100% better.
  20. The problem is: the show was never going to let Steven be outright gay; they kept teasing female partners, and essentially made him more bisexual than gay.
  21. Well, I am finally in Knots Landing... the random placements of the ads is questionable, especially when there are dip-ins and dip-outs where the actual commercials are. Reminds me of when syndicated television networks put their own commercials in at random spots, or even movies. I wish it, too, because I feel like it'd improve a whole lot of things. Especially the shadowing of a lot of scenes.
