Rachel was a decent actress, imo. She was obviously casted to put with JT, but the writers overestimated interest in the pairing. They should have wrote Mac out once Ashely left the second time. And I won’t even start on casting Clementine. A huge miss and probably the reason why Villy was put together. 
 

 Kelly at least had  believable chemistry with David Tom, but he covered up her acting deficiencies for sure. Once he left, her days were numbered. I’m guessing they brought her back last year because no liked Clementine and Kelly was actually there during tail end of the Mac/ Billy story plus the Darrin connection helped.  Ashley doesn’t really act anymore it seems. It would have been awkward to see Ashley as Mac with Jason playing Billy. He looks too old to play Billy compared to the other GBJ kids aside for Thad. 
 

I actually preferred Liza as Gwen but I barely watched when Natalie was in the role. I thought she had chemistry with Eric unlike Lindsay Hartley.

Speaking of ATWT I was so glad Benjamin Hendrickson returned as Hal after year or so after enduring  miscast Randolph Mantooth in the role. Likewise I was happy to see Ashley Bashioum return in 2004 as Mac on Y&R after Kruger’s turn it was a shame she didn’t last longer.

I’m not sure why they brought Ashley back only to get rid of her the next year. They claimed they needed her to be more available for a new story, but Mac was one of many women in JT’s orbit at the time and they bombed after a few months together. I think the writers overestimated the appeal of a Mac/JT coupling.

I believe they claimed because he looked too young next to the actress playing Kelly, but I believe it’s because he didn’t mesh with AH on screen and they wanted an older looking Billy. This was on JFP, Imo. Of course she eventually brought Jason over from GH 2 years later....

Given how far they went to redeem the Baldwin/Fisher clan, I’m not surprised.

She came back last year. She also blamed everyone else for the reason why she didn’t return. 

Victoria wants her job back. She’s probably needs money. I get it, but she’s also exhausting. She was willing to come back years ago without any changes, so I believe she mostly wants her job back because she doesn’t have any other work out there at her age. Why else would she want to work in a hostile environment? I hope she comes back because the show could use Dru especially because Lily and Devon doesn’t do it for me. I’m sure all her social media post will go away once she has a new contract with Y&R. 

Victoria seems exhausting to be around.

They should be saving episodes and trying to come back in September with Y&R.

When I read this title the first couple that came to mind was JT and Victoria, I still don't understand that pairing and never got it during it's first few iterations. I guess that's why the writing team fell over themselves when they saw dailies for "Villy" not that, that specific pairing was all that great either but at least I could see a potential story there. 

 

 

 

I figured  Billy and Victoria only  happened when the writers realized Mac and Billy with Clementine playing Mac wasn’t working, so they couple switched to JT/Mac and Villy. It worked out because they were able to get rid of Clementine when Thad decided to leave. Mac and Victoria are literally the same characters with Amelia in the role.

I thought for sure they hooked up once sometime after Phyllis returned in 2000. I don’t think they were shown in bed though. I need to go back and look.
