I need some help and don’t know where else to turn to ask.

I’ve been watching the SoapNet run of AW. It appears that most of May 1990-December 1990 is missing. I’m super disappointed in that because I never got to see the fall of 1990 as I went to college and didn’t have a VCR that first semester. Since SoapNet re-aired it, I find it hard to believe that someone out there didn’t keep every episode. Am I looking for it wrong? I used to be able to just put in “Another World June 1989” (or similar) and a ton of videos would pop up. Any help would be appreciated. I never found out who tried to kill Jake and would love to finally watch that storyline play out!

No, you're not looking for it wrong.

Unless they were posted and the uploader set them as "unlisted", there are no complete playlists from May to December 1990 uploaded to YT. There are a handful of episodes and clips uploaded though (Ryan's introduction, Cass and Frankie's first wedding, Jake's shooting).

Marquise... any chance of reposting previous episodes of B&B Episode 1 to 250?... Link no longer working... Thank you... From a huge fan of B&B who would love to see how it all started 1987...

The first 20 episodes are available on Youtube. Episode 21-249, if they were uploaded, they may have been taken down.

Great news for Brook Kerr. She’ll be on Hawaii Five-0 soon. Also looking forward to seeing her in the new Lifetime movie that Lindsay Hartley is directing! This is also a great time for Brook as well because her son is also starring in Grand Hotel on ABC.

Is it me, or does she look exactly the same as the very first episode of Passions, literally hasn’t aged lol

    She hasn't aged a day.

Which actor played Etthan best?  Travis played the sheltered rich kid to perfection,  but Eric played up the more intense and smoldering aspects that of Ethan..imho

I have to say Eric Martsolf. To me, Travis Schuldt played Ethan too much like a bratty, annoying little kid, whereas Eric Martsolf played him more as a mature adult. In some ways, it was almost like they played two different characters.

I know a spot that has DAYS complete episodes from 1993 through August 1995... I just need that to expand through somewhere in '97 when it started going downhill.  The Aremid era is my all-time fave.

I thought Aremid was great too.

Right now, I'm working my way through the 1994 unlisted playlist and loving it.

Ooh, you're right in the thick of my favorite era, around January 1996.

P.S. Where are you watching these?  The Youtube Jarlenafan (or something) used to have the entire Aremid storyline up until it was all yanked down. Would love to see it, as well full episodes of that time, again.

So many good Days channels were taken down by Youtube. One channel had John and Marlena's entire story from Maison Blanche all the way to Kristen's departure in 1998 posted. And then one day, they were all gone.

I'm so glad that full episodes are being uploaded now just as long as they're considered unlisted.

Ciara got fired by her Uncle Roman for never showing up for her waitress job. She has no skills, no credentials and apparently, no ambition. Which can only mean that she'll next get a job as CEO of a DiMera company.

I can see her new company already!

Hers or NBC's, I assume. Most of the older actors were frozen out in that period. I remember some fan talk that Linda Dano stepped in to help Schnetzer as it could have been very easy to just completely write Cass out at this point, but I don't know if that's true.

It probably is true. It's almost like there was a war going on between NBC and P&G at that time over AW. Half of the camp wanted to turn it into a DOOL clone and the other half wanted it cancelled. Either way, I don't think there ever was a soap that was as sabotaged as much as AW was in its final years.

That was the reason given, but the writer who pushed that idea didn't last long (I think it was DePriest) and for the next year and a half Cass was a lawyer and had a backburner romance with Donna. I think he was put on recurring and then eventually made contract again after Richard Culliton began using him more and his romance with Lila took off.

I may be wrong about the recurring part, I don't know.

Was it Charlotte Savitz's decision to put SS on recurring?
