I was hoping that name would never be uttered again.

I was really hoping we'd see some Veronica and Tricia episodes for Villains Week but I guess beggars can't be choosers...

As lackluster and overused as this is, I find that after watching the "classic" from 2014, RC Cates' compositions have improved melodically in recent years as opposed to the JFP trashcan of cues they started using in 2013. Still lacks the punch of the Allocco-Kurtz-Davidson cues from 1984-2002. On the note of Alloco-Kurtz cues, I really didn't care for the compositions from the MAB era. They made scenes sound super campy and this one in particular below at the end of the scene is one I could never stand.

They stopped adding new headshots for characters in this style around 2005-2006 I believe and just kept recycling headshots of the same people by 2012.

Perhaps you can add it to the vault? I'm curious to see what they edited.

There's virtually no difference in airtime allowance from 2013 to today, but the cuts from the 2013 are far more noticeable than the one that just reaired since a lot of the lines were quickly spliced together (or just cut completely), and the pacing as a result of the cuts just seemed far more unnatural than the one aired in 2020. This was around the time Diane and Phyllis had been feuding, and I believe Diane had set fire to the Jabot pool house and wanted to frame Phyllis for it. Phyllis' lack of engagement in this episode gave viewers the impression that she had something to do with this.

Episode from 1998-06-30 completely cut out all of Tony and Grace's scenes to keep the other scenes uncut.

They started to use a heavier weight of Amerigo in 2018 for some reason, which is why the text looks whiter than it used to. 🤷‍♀️

I've always been a sucker for detail LOL. The typeface they use is Amerigo BT (I asked a bunch of font connaiseurs in a forum a while back). I'm glad you noticed too!

You guys are great! I saw them in the folder, thanks! I just moved them inside folders that are from the appropriate year to keep them as organized as possible. Also I had to delete the 2005-2012 folders since I encountered an error uploading my episodes so if you put anything in there, it'll have to be done again, sorry!

All of Raul, Mac, and Brittany was cut. The rebroadcast is on the vault if you want to catch it! One change I do appreciate (and especially because I've communicated this to Mike Dobson over Twitter) was that some of the cues originally dubbed at the wrong pitch was corrected (which had been a problem since late 2001 and wasn't corrected until last year). Also the wedding singer was cut out with an arrangement of "Here Comes the Bride", though if I remember correctly she wasn't all that popular LOL.

Just a small note for tomorrow's US episode in regards to Nikki and Victor's 2002 Wedding: The episode was heavily edited to focus on Nikki and Victor's wedding which had scenes from mostly the 2002-09-05 show, but also a few from the 2002-09-09 and 2002-09-10 show. Scenes that were cut in the original airing included Raul in the hospital after recovering from a drunk driving accident after an argument with Brittany, and a brief Jack and Phyllis scene as Phyllis was heavily distracted by her feud with Diane. Scenes that were added include the Niktor Wedding Dance and Ashley daydreaming about a life with Victor and Abby with a photo montage at the end. In my opinion, this edit was well done.

It really wasn't that bad haha. It's just a run of the mill mass interview/what have you guys been up to session under the guise of the GC Buzz name. It's nice to see the actors outside of their element once in a while.

For full disclosure, I bought a OneDrive business account via eBay. This gives me a "lifetime" 5TB of storage. The only main concern is that it's very possible that the account may cease to work down the road - however from what I've read from other people who've done something similar, Microsoft is unlikely to be diligent about auditing these accounts that are sold. I'm also not terribly concerned about the data on this, considering it's just a collection of videos with no sensitive information. I will, however, continue to research some solutions for backing this up in the event it goes down! I've contributed some episodes and clips in the vault including the events surrounding Macy's Death in 2000 and Brooke going after Ridge again in 2001. This is terrific! I can download them and migrate them over to the new B&B vault I've created.

Victor did mourn Sabrina for a while actually ! He blamed Nikki and told her that it should have been her that died and not Sabrina, and had a breakdown somewhere in between.

I feel like I need to give Joshua Landers a special shoutout in this storyline. He was Nikki's husband who was shot and killed the same night Nikki got shot and she seemed to have forgotten him at the drop of a hat as soon as she married Victor in the hospital. I don't even think they showed a scene of Nikki grieving Joshua beyond her finding out he died while she was in the hospital bed in critical condition. Also, loved Sandra Nelson as Phyllis! 😍😍😍

I have a feeling the Victor sperm saga between Diane, Nikki, and Ashley might be right up there with Kay's infamous storylines, but I personally found it very entertaining LOL.

I have to say after watching this episode, I really don't miss the LML/MAB era, but production values were still very Y&R-ish. Watching this reminded me of the mess they made of the Sharon character around this time. Additionally, Miller's acting as Billy vs Jason/Drew on GH is night and day.

Pre-Nick vs. Post-Nick Phyllis basically.
