  1. the issue was the show didnt wanna lose the originals after they graduated and tied to keep them relevant, when they should have just let them go. they were smart to merge the two highschools, tho it could have been done easier. I also don't think they expected for it to be going this long either. Also, all tings aside it seems like this season they have a mission and are going with it. So hopefully season 10 can be like a new start.
  2. i always figured they were touchy with eachother cuz they were so close due to being twins and raising eachother.
  3. the same as her brother, lol. I cant wait for daily degrassi!
  4. interview was great, ill link it once its edited, approved, and posted on our site. I got to ask most of your questions. She was wonderful, amazing, etc. Also, very open and honest.
  5. These are great! thank you!
  6. Anyone have any specific questions for Sandra Ferguson (Who now goes by Sandra Robinson)? I am interviewing her on friday and figured that i would try and get some feedback from all of you great AW historians
  7. the reaction to the miley comments have been amusing. she pretty much said people busting out into song out of nowhere is something she doesnt like. Its a common complaint about musicals. I feel the same way, for the most part. Now if her show plot was as redic or not is rather pointless... Moving on... Ryan Murphey... Eric, i dont know why you give him so much credit. He is an awful showrunner. He has proven time and time again he pretty much just goes with no plan.
  8. ^I LOVE Killing Mr Griffen. I DVR that every lifetime high school murder movie marathon weekend! And the tori spelling cheer leading movie!
  9. See, i disagree. becaquse Anna stuck around for quite awhile. Sure she ended up dying, thank god, but she went on so long i actually didnt think she would. They bring on A LOT of people because they need all these people to further the story. But they dont really mater in the long run and im happy the show sues for a purpose then moves on. We know E, Bonnie, Tyler, Jeremy, & The Brothers wont die. Its a safe bet to assume jenna & Alaric wont die. Thats a good amount of regulars not to worry about.
  10. I like tht they are killed off. People die, all the time, before their story is done. Furthermore these people live around and some are vampires. There is going to be a death toll. Thats part of the appeal. Building Viki up to kill her off was great. It set a tone. Almost anyone can go.
  11. I felt bad for Finn, not Kurt. But i find Kurt creepy in his finn love. I mean, honestly, im bisexual and even I would be freaked out by sharing a room with Kurt if i were in Finns place. Kurt is kind of obsessed with him. Finn has always been rather nice and polite about it, acting oblvious because maybe he was. But if you think about it.. what if the gender roles were flipped around. What if Finn was a girl who was forced into this situation with a guy from school that obviously wanted to [!@#$%^&*] her?
  12. Apperantly SR met with swat people and they told her only like 5 guys would be sent in. And he only shot him in the shoulder prob to make sure Lexie could get away and by the time she was out of the way she shooter had moved on. That shooter moved like Jason! lol.
  13. I watched it on PAX tv one day, i think the dad from dawsons creek was on it as was that awful babe recast from amc. i wasnt really good. but it wasnt awful. i dont remember a storyline tho because i only seen like 3 episodes and this was years ago, i think.
  14. Also, i felt for Mer when she was doing the operation on the war dr and she was having a miscarriage at the same time. I hate her, but damn. You find out ur prego, u see ur hubby shot, a gunman almost kills you, you think hubby died, your operating, and then ou lose ur baby. thats one sucky day.
  15. Im not going to read that, because i really cant stand her. There were some plot holes. I ignored them. Because the show delivered amazing character interactions and high stakes drama. I have no issue with this, at all. Also, forgot to add that Arizona & Calli may be the best same sex relationship ever shown on tv, def on network tv.
  16. One of the, if not the, best episode ever. It was shocking, touching, heartbreaking. Alex talking to Lexi as if she was Izzy was really emotional. Mandy Moore was great, it seems like she just got a role they were casting instead of them creating a role for her. Those scenes with her bailey and that other dr were all amazing.
  17. However, it wills till get a third season order and unless it really tanks a fourth wouldnt shock me.
  18. Doesnt Fox's ratings usually go up during American idol season?
  19. Oh, without a doubt. However, that tween/teen audience will stick with it, as they normally do with shows, longer than most adults would. I think. Yes, the backlash has happened here or there in response to all the praise it gets. And those backlash articles are show down as being closed minded and whatnot. Im shocked there isnt more backlash about it. The handicap kid, the overweight black girl, the so gay he may as well be a girl guy, the asian girl who is smart, the asian boy who can dance, the random black guy who pops up and can dance, the baby crazed desperate wife, the is she or isnt she butch coach, the dump jocks, the slutty cheerleaders... Can it get any more stereotypical? And at first i embraced this because it seemed like they were goona dive into this and you were gonna see more sides of them and they would break that mold. Nope, they have instead embraced that mold. Sure it makes music work, because its in a musical setting. Something Cop Rock was not. But again, High School Musical actually made it work years before, and it didnt have a glee club as a backdrop. am glad the show is getting ripped apart for relying on guest stars tho. And gimmick episodes. The first 13 epsiodes were great, i dont know what happened during the break but damn did it fall apart.
  20. No, not really. It can rely on the hit music, the gimmicks, the guest stars, the buzzworthy cast and keep it up for another two seasons, at least. people like it, i like it. Im just sick of it being hailed as some kind of new, bold, groundbreaking, show that shows how you be diverse. A diverse show would have have more than "white" people in lead roles. A bold show would go there with finn/kurt & really go there with puck/mercadies. etc.. Glee is like a disney chan sitcom in an hour long format. Those disney shows go on for a long time. never underestimate the power of Tweens/Teens and mindless entertainment.
  21. No, i dont think so. People dont expect greatness. It has a tween/teen appeal, the cast is buzzworthy, the songs sell well on ituned, the ratings are rather steady (as far as i know). If it can keep it up it will do fine for a few season. That said, i do expect season 2 to be on the level of popular season 2/nip tuck season 4. and thats pretty bad. I mean, so many plot holes already.... Where is Quinn living? Is she keeping her baby or still thinking about adoption? The random swapping of couples is already tired. The supporting players are like walking stereotypes with little no depth. Sue is slowly taking over the show (much like Miss Glass on popular) and lea Michelle is on WAY too much. Honestly, the show plays out like a fanfic gone wrong. But again, im ok with that, for the most part, because i dont expect greatness. I expect a cheesy OTT show. It just bugs me when i read people praise how well written it is and how diverse it is. Sure, its diverse cast. Too bad that cast is stuck playing one note stereotypes in minor/supporting roles.
  22. Glee is a cute, fun new show. End of story. Its not groundbreaking, its not amazing, its not well written or all that well acted/sung. But its catchy, it uses pop culture, and it caught on. That said... wow, the cracks are so obvious so early. I knew it woudlnt be good for long after watching other Ryan Murphy shows, but i expected a solid season.
  23. OK, so back to season 5... Blake & Jennifer Cavilleri... errr Lady Ashley .. are like, having an emotional thing. krystal is having a side thing with rock hudson, who i guess is sammy jos bio dad?... idk. i ignore anything krystal related. alexis is with dex and she knows somethings up with him and amanda. she arranged a marriage between amanda and that prince. amanda/dex is hawt. steven/luke <3 Blake just told Alexis about Luke and she offered him a job. I love alexis. jeff is with this annoying nikki girl who needs to die and adam is trying to move on that bore claudia who is like anti divorce from steven for some reason. this is my fave season overall so far.
  24. Thank god Ana is dead. I hated her. I knew E was K at the end. I knew that K had to be in the finale and when she walked up to the house i knew it was her. Nina did amazing. What a fantastic finale. So many cliffhangers!
  25. Oh god, i had blocked Kirby out. Total HATE!
