The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
I think her being offscreen was actually storyline related tho her return was anticlimactic, maybe something will come when she sees rick. I think the difference with her and the other two women is her popularity. Lori was universally hated from the start. Andrea was by the second half of that season cuz she was poorly written and used as a plot device and not a character. But carol doesn't get that treatment and is liked. Yeah Lizzie has been slowly snapping all season long. This wasn't sudden and they built to this.

Yeah I'm not sure why people are worried about carol. She's popular, she's pretty unique to the canvas, they've invested in her. I know basically anyone but rick or Darryl could die, but I don't see it happening.

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
Last nights was a really interesting and thought provoking episode. I did assume that Lizzie would die. I thought she'd hurt herself thinking they wouldn't kill her if they turned. I did not see her killing her sister. The set up tho of it was great because you easily believe that she did it. She didn't have a view on right and wrong because the lines are so blurry. You don't kill humans, but you kill walkers who were once humans and who she views as people. Except people do kill people. And walkers kill people. The give her was a good guy but then he wasn't. In our modern world, she'd need help - therapy, pills, etc. in a world not so long ago it's likely she had been locked up and labeled insane. In this world of TWD carol did what had to be done and eliminate the threat. They couldn't leave her because what if she had linked up with another group and killed one of them? Carol confessing was interesting and it was absolutely the timing that saved her life. He now understands why she did it, the sickness was a threat. And while there was a chance it would have passed and they could have been cured, the risk wasn't worth it. Had she told him earlier I think he would have snapped. It was a great twist. Production and acting totally pulled it off. I know many will say it was too much, too far, but I don't think anyone would say that had an adult killed another adult, and in the world they live in the fact that they are kids a doesn't change anything. A threat is a threat. I don't think it was done to be shocking just for the sake of shock, it was a reminder that this world they now love in is effed up. It'll be interesting to see how or if they explain this to the group.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think RHOC looks good. I'm not happy Gretchen is gone and vicki/Tamara are still here, but I'm thrilled horse abd jesusjuggs are gone abd heather is here. One of the new wives reminds me of Peggy. The other has left no impression so far.

This Kenya/Kandi/Cynthia scene about motherhood and being a single mom is great. Yes I left nene off for a reason. Appolo/Kenya ... Like... It's just wrong. Kenya is only speaking to him to piss shady off, appolo is approaching her to piss his wife off... Yet if this were a soap I'd be rooting for the affair. Lol. Papa smurf is so thirsty. Todd was funny. Kenya was spot on about appolo using her in his game and against Phe. But she's acting like she didn't use him for story. It was a mutual use.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Bravo airs the first 15-20 mins on Saturday of all the series. I disagree. I don't see anyone except the regulars calling her out. She seems really popular still, as of now. Brandi is still by far the most talked about in the cast. Both in the tabloids/online/on entertainment shows and by fans. The difference between Jill and Brandi is Jill was hated by 99% of the audience/media/production and it was a pure hate. Brandi is hated, for sure, but she also has a ton of fans and support. She's more buzzed about. And from what I hear, basically loved by production. Brandi won't bow out. I don't think anyone on BH will ever because they all are desperate for the attention.

Maybe they were not terrible, but they were not stellar. Not good enough to offset the bad image it created by any means. Miami was only renewed and revamped cuz they didn't want two failed installments IMO.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Rhodc was panned by the media and fans. It's become kind of whitewashed over the years but it was quite the embarrassment for bravo at the time. It didn't get high ratings either. I don't think it was as bad say Miami. It was better than what nj became. But I'm not sad at all it was axed. Miami needs to go abd they need a RHoDallas.

I feel like Yolanda da and carlton are both almost great, but just don't quite make it. Lisa honestly is dressed terribly and her hair is just too much, a bad hair day they tried their best with. She's not terribly looking, at all, but it's def not a good look. It also greatly ages her IMO. Joyce is ready for miss teen Alabama. Re NY: I do think Carole is being bitchy but I think it's totally deserved. Aviva hasn't, farm who I figured, talked to anole really when not filming. Carole/Heather I think defended her last season cuz they were newbies, and it was clear Carole would be annoyed by Aviva but not let it be an issue. Then when this season started Aviva basically comes to her as if they are besties and asks her to edit her book for free, basically. After Aviva tried to ruin Carole party. Aviva is phony and Carole knows it. And not in a being civil/polite way. Then Aviva abd her clearly were never on the same page during this lunch about writing. This is where things get messy and Carole isn't innocent, she did bring up a ghost writer first - but she did it in a matter of fact/it's normally for non writers to use one kind of way. Aviva then did basically accuse her of using a ghost writer and her book being her first entry into the writing world when Carole's career has even that of a writer/journalist. It just derailed further from there because Carole was offended, defensive and annoyed while Aviva was making digs. So like I said, while I do think Carole was being bitch I see why. It's funny that Aviva then trashes Carole's book and says she knows it was ghost written but also says it was denied by her publishing house for not being polished, when Carole even told Aviva she didn't want a perfect polished book (and damn was she right! That book is heartbreaking because it's totally in her voice!). Loved them showing Aviva gush over how great Carole's book was.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOA- This episode is boring so far. I have nothing else to say. RHOBH- Kyle looks the best at the reunion. The others are look various forms of meh to terrible. Brandi, Yolanda, Carlton are ok. Kim is awful. Joyce is awful. Lisa isn't looking great - both dress and hair. Oh god right into Lisa is the innocent victim. "I sent her a mean email once" lmao Brandi. KILLIN me. Calabasis isn't deep in the valley Hun. Interesting that Lisa would look down upon it. Lisa and Brandi are both so hypocritical and now using jokes against each other. Lisa is trying the most here tand Brandi is holding her own damn well. Being sick can teach you a lot about friends, and family. I totally get Yolanda here. I do think she's overreacting, somewhat, but Lisa's ignoring the issue basically validates her. RHONY- Of course trashmona would forgive Aviva over drinks. I love heathers intro. Sonja's is the worst. Aviva is just so awkward with carol here. Like wow. Carole is being a bitch here honestly, but I love her and it's deserved plus she's still being rather polite somehow. Caries surprised face at Aviva having fun writing her memoir, lol. Yeah they are very different. Carole's entire reaction here is pretty great. I just don't care about Aviva and trash acting friendlish. Harry mention #1 this episode. LOVE the trinity of Heather/Carole/Kristen. Kristen is great.

As if she just showed up and dipped out. She engaged. She was an active partisans in discussion. She pulled people aside. She played her poor me act.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I honestly wish Lisa was done and over it as you say she is. Her actions and words say otherwise. She cares. She's involved. She's not over it, not at all. And I'm not saying that as a dig.

I cant believe Im excited for Luann! She stirs the pot and revels in it and I love that. Hateeeee her tho. It's a weird place for me to be. Ya habibi!!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Honestly I don't think so. Regardless it makes her bleed. She also throws wine in her face. And yeah, she's selling the I LOVE KRISTEN angle to high and loud for it to be true. But that's only one aspect. Bravo hasn't taken lightly to their stars filing for divorce/breaking up after they stop filming. It got Luann demoted. I def think Ramona is trying the most right now. It's also interesting they bravo has picked Sonja to promote the series both at the press thing and on wwhl after the premier.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lol yes about the black people. I don't mind the holla, I like it now actually. Not surprising, I legit forgot it was on until I saw it on my DVR list. The voice of reason throws a wine glass in someone face and makes them bleed? Lol. No. This is her fake ass act she does at the start of every season before her trashy drunk true self comes out. She's also in damage control right now in her talking heads, blogs and appearence a for various reasons.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Brandi was used to generate buzz and story for VPR. She agreed to it for her friend, to help her out, but agreeing if not it is what it is. Being used. I think she thought Lisa was a good enough friend to out herself through that for esp because Lisa had been so cautious to not have Scheena wait in her or be around at events. I think it's likely that this season Brandi wasnt so willing and therefor the dinner at the house with Scheena was arranged. Set up by Lisa. Agreed upon by Lisa. Whatever it may be, at the end of the day that blame is on Lisa. I think that while Brandi and Lisa had issues prior go that tonight that it is when Brandi saw how Lisa is, and that's when the real spiral happened. VPR made me hate Lisa. I think that it is fake in a very hills type way, but I think that the hills was fake in a way of everyone playing a heightened version of themselves. But Lisa on that show, IMO is very similar to how she has been in BH this year. I think it's an easy out to dismiss her personality on that show but not this one. I don't think evil mastermind fits Lisa. I don't think really anybody but her stans have used that actually. She is however, calculated. That can be good and bad. Where Lisa licked out was all of the women ha desperate issues with her abd it felt like a gang up attack when it wasn't. That totally put her in a victim role, one that's very undeserving. You can keep it civil and not accept an apology tho. But really, Lisa went on and on and on and on and on about Kyle not standing up for her. Kyle apologized, and Lisa accepted, and then went on and on and on about it. That's not keeping it civil, it's being an immature bitch. I hate Kyle, but she really expected Kyle to literally stand up and condemn anyone no matter her relationship with them to defend her honor and when age fell short it was "you don't stand up for me, again". Whenever Kyle, or anyone, tries to discuss an issue with Lisa she dismisses it and says it's over, they have moved on. But it isn't over. Lisa hasn't moved on. She holds onto things and uses them against people but refuses to let anyone ever dare to bring up an issue they have with her. They must let that go and allow her to hold onto her issues. You want to argue the merit of kyles apology, that's fine. Except Lisa appeared to/acted as if she forgave Kyle to her face but otherwise behind her back. Quite frankly Lisa did Kyle the dirtiest and I think it tells a lot about Lisa that she refuses to even allow this to be brought up. Brandi hasn't backtracked on tabloid gate. Lisa's story has changed 17 times. Honestly, I believe her. I can even buy Lisa said it as a joke. But she said it, that I absolutely buy. And Lisa's reaction to it and to Brandi following it is what really makes me believe it. I completely disagree with this last part. Yolanda was being honest not self righteous. The fact that Kyle, who is her friend, is hurt and that's irrelevant tells you a lot about Lisa. Brandi's issue is clear, it's just ignored. Lisa seems to be that type of person that you could have a very valid, reasonable issue with and if you approach her to discuss it, good luck because it isn't happening. It's over and done and you better accept it but if you have ever hurt her in any way you will pay for it for the rest of your life. As for her little bitch being attacked, please. He's the attacker. I'm honestly shocked how anyone can defend his actions. It's disgusting, vile and absolutely uncalled for.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She wasn't being a bitch to her. At all. She got into with her bitch tho, because it felt the need to attack, yell and berate. I agree. The way Lisa has approached Brandi is the most interesting and telling aspect here. Yeah I believe both have said it was filmed. But we obviously don't know what happened in them. And after that dinner when Lisa's little pet went on the attack it was likely irrelevant anyways. Change Kim and carlton and I agree.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree with both points. I absolute think that through seeing vanderpump rules Brandi saw that Lisa was much closer to Lisa an she ever let on. That hurt her and rightfully so. Especially after Brandi agreed to sit down with her and generate story for the spinoff, and Scheena. I do think that Brandi has a lot of issues from the entire edit situation and Scheena is a part of that. She's not dealt with it really and while she does blame Eddie, she also places blame on Scheena - and rightfully so. There's absolutely no efffing way she didn't know he was married. I think that through Lisa and this show Brandi got part of her identity back, so to find out Lisa is in fact friends with Scheena, not just her employer as Lisa likely presented it as that's the way she presented it to the audience an press, it cut her deep and reopened those wounds. That's why she needs to know who Lisa would pick. The smothering snd everything else was just masking the real issue, Scheena. Lisa obviously understood the Scheena issue well and did keep them apart and wouldn't have Scheena work events Brandi was at unless she told her and it was for filming, and then she threw tht out the window. You can blame production, but Lisa still did it. And I think that was her breaking point. I also think that's why she revealed tabloid gate to Kyle cuz that's likely the biggest dirt she had on her. And I do believe Brandi about it, because this is the same thing that happened with Adrienne. They had an issue and Brandi attacked. With the truth. The bankruptcy from a website is messy and stupid, but again she said what she believed to be true. She didn't just outright lie. She was dumb to believe a $10 website, but it is what it is. Lisa is weird with issues tho she claims that she's over it, they've moved past it when there wasn't even discussions or apologies about it, she gets annoyed when people keep bringing up points but won't discuss them to move on. Then she herself will harp on issues. How many times did we have to hear her bitch about Kyle not standing up for her? She doesn't even follow her own rules, so how can anyone else? I think your right about the losing face and being defeated and that's why she won't ever apologize really even when wrong and would rather just pretend the issue is over when it's not. It's as fake as a fake apology just in a different side of that coin. I do think that Lisa thinks her pain is greater than others, that it maters more. It's interesting that in the confrontations Lisa never accused Brandi of lying tho esp not to Brandi. And I do think her body language was much more "don't do this to us, to me" and not out of anger or being hurt. I loved Brandi on wwhl after rhobh Monday by the way. She made great points and wasnt messy for once this year lol.

I don't mind Aviva. I liked her last season. She creats drama and does it well. But let's be real, the bitch is fake. She's trying to be friends with Ramona now cuz filming started and it's a story. That's fine, but it is what it is. I hate Ramona but I had no problem with how she dealt with Aviva. I see Carole's point and it's nice to see someone on these shows finally mention that the way other people treat others impacts how they see them and their friendship. I mean, if I'm friends with someone and they are treating other people like [!@#$%^&*], calling them names, and causing drama at events including mine I'm probably going to distance myself. If your talking [!@#$%^&*] to me about one of our friends I'm going to assume your talking [!@#$%^&*] about me to them too. Sonja was refreshing this season. A falling out wig her and Ramona would do her wonders. I didn't find Kristen crass. She is miced up and we here things a lout louder and clearer than people in the rest would have. It was refreshing to see a married couple actually joke about issues that are relevant in marriages such as blowjobs, life before kids, etc. I can see how she'd turn people off but I really like her, and him. It's cool that heather knows him from her puff daddy days. Kristen commentary on Ramona and Sonja was killing me. Great stuff. Heather is seriously the best. Like I just love her. I can't wait to see what she brings this season cuz it looks like she adds a lot.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
They were mid party and after seeing Kristen around and heather talking to her husband josh, who she used to work with, Sonja's child boyfriend was talking to Kristen and Sonja asked who she was. Then they cut back and did her image in front of ny between scenes like they do and we met Kristen and her husband and kids and whatnot then they went back to the party scene.

Ugh. Ramona and Sonja. They really nearly ruin this show for me. But carol and heather and Kristen are amazing.

I'm pretty upset Gretchen isn't back. She's my all time OC fave. I loved that she would actually call Vicki out on her shot as she pulled it and not just let her get away with it. I think she and Slade were clearly in love, tho I don't much like him, so he didn't bother me. Vicki/Tamra didn't want Gretchen back. They got their way. Bravo is weird with ratings. They clearly didn't care about last season of ny basically flopping. Lisa made the private convo no longer private, and Yolanda was involved in the issue. Yup. Between the lies, the blowing issues off and the running away I see a pattern with her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Did they lie? She's worked for one guy. Her show got axed and she did three mins on glee after.
