I would think there was more of a possibility of Yesef being Shabnam's father rather than Syed's... Didn't they actually hint at one point that Shabnam may not be Masood's daughter? Then the actress left...

Charlotte at Walford Web said that Kirkwood was asked in Inside Soap yesterday about the possibility of bringing Sharon back. He said with Ronnie leaving, "There is certainly a tragic heroine shaped role just waiting to be filled." Don't know if that's just a tease and nothing will come out of it or if he's seriously considering it. But please, Sharon is more than just an average "tragic heroine." A lot of tragic stuff happened in her life yes, but she's managed to transcend a lot of it. Plus she has strong relationships with Phil, Ian, Pat, etc, and seeing her as mother would bring a newer element to the character. They can even explore Sharon's biological family again, and recast Vicki while they're at it. Too bad Michelle will never be coming back since Sue Tully is done with acting.

Is the mother going to be a full time character? Rainie is always used for short stints, but I'm guessing this will be a slightly longer stint for her.

Yeah, it's better than many of the main album tracks. I really think she should have done more work with Stargate and Sandy Vee on this album, and it's too bad their only track is a bonus track. Selfish is nothing groundbreaking and could have been a Rihanna song, but it's the type of edgy commercial electro-pop that Britney can do well. I find the rap part from Sabi really lame on that song.

Do you even have to ask darrah? LOL 2001 was a banner year for EastEnders, perhaps their best year of the modern era. Stuff like Who Shot Phil? The Kat/Zoe reveal, Sharon's return, the Little Mo/Trevor stuff being planted, Dot/Jim and the fallout from Dot helping Ethel euthanize herself, and lots of other stuff. The Who Shot Phil? reveal was the most watched soap episode of the 00's, and the Kat/Zoe story and reveal is EastEnder's defining story and moment of all the 00's.

I'm watching parts of Bianca's '99 exit again. Bianca was so determined to not end up like Carol, but that's exactly what happened with the million children by different fathers and the poverty. Jody Latham, who plays Rob, played Lip on the superior UK version of Shameless. Rob does have a very menacing vibe to him that I haven't seen since Trevor Morgan (Little Mo's abusive first husband). I wonder if this is it for him or he'll pop up again in the near future.

I don't understand why Up N’ Down and Selfish didn't make the main album, they're as good if not better than many of the main album tracks.

I have to give Shona credit, she really stepped up to the plate for this story. After phoning everything in since the story with Tony, she finally came alive again. Whitney is still a selfish little prick and I will never love her, but this storyline has been great for her.
