  1. It's time for another emergency Trump pivot meeting!
  2. Trump would like to try Americans at Guantanamo Bay.
  3. Witty.
  4. Showtime is running a BTS featurette on the new show - showing much of the veteran cast (Kyle, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Kimmy, James Marshall, etc.) on-set and being interviewed - at the TCAs as we speak. Hoping someone puts it online.
  5. Front page of Time: Article here. Meanwhile: More than 70 Republicans sign a letter urging Priebus to cut off funds to Trump.
  6. Today in Trump: Obama is the founder of ISIS! Also in the Shît You Can't Make Up Department: While ranting that Hillary 'knew' Omar Mateen's father was at a recent Clinton campaign event because campaigns always know who's seated, Trump had a guest at his own rally - disgraced congressman Mark Foley.
  7. They've indicated they've spoken to the campaign 'more than once' about it. NBC's Katy Tur, who's been valiantly following the Trump campaign for months, writes about her experience.
  8. Trump sycophant-in-chief Mark Halperin went from shaming him on Twitter to immediately jumping onto MSNBC and trying to equate this with Biden and Hillary's gun-related gaffes in 2008. It was pretty pathetic and was shouted down by his cohosts and guests, but still, Halperin is desperately in love with Il Donald.
  9. It'll be taken seriously. His campaign is already in freefall, this is going to smother any of their lame attempts to 'reboot' him (which would never have lasted anyway) in the crib.
  10. And then this happened:
  11. Balthazar Getty (from Lynch's Lost Highway) is interviewed about doing the new series:
  12. Trump is a narcissist who - a lot of people have been saying this, I don't know if it's true, I'm just saying, there's a lot of talk[/Trump] - is allegedly a habitual user of Phen-Fen and/or barely legal prescription amphetamines, which he has used for years and years. He boasts of barely sleeping four hours a night and he pops these pills like candy to keep him going. That is what powers his engine. Also: A new Marist poll has Hillary at 48% and Trump at 33.
  13. He doesn't have the attention span to look up mercenaries, let alone the finances to hire or pay them.
  14. I think he'll quit if they pay him. Like all his failed investments.
  15. Bringing back Lewandowski is a horrifically insane idea, so of course he will do it. The article does claim the intervention didn't happen, but I wouldn't be shocked if Trump refused it. Holy shît: Much more at the link.
  16. Iraq vet J.R. Martinez (Brot, AMC) trashes Trump.
  17. There was indeed an intervention today, or will be. I think I posted the link upthread. It's their last ditch effort to 'reset' Trump's campaign. AMC vet J.R. Martinez (Brot) reads Trump to filth. Even Newt is fed up: Incidentally, Newt was supposedly in on said intervention. Since that announcement of the plan, we've since heard Trump may intend to dump Manafort and bring back Crazy Corey Lewandowski - his favorite advisor who the kids forced him to dump, and one who still consults him unofficially while presently on the payroll of CNN.
  18. If it's 10 on CNN and FOX, the real number is higher. He is also - as I suspected - apparently looking to officially reinstate Corey Lewandowski. Who never really stopped advising him behind Paul Manafort's back. If this continues he will be forced out.
  19. Fox News has Hillary up on Trump. By 10 points.
  20. NBC reports that Priebus, Gingrich and Giuliani are plotting an 'intervention' amidst the chaos of the past few weeks - and raises the spectre of Trump somehow being removed from the ticket. Ex-Trump campaign staff have signed on with Paul Ryan's primary rival. Joe Scarborough belatedly reveals that Trump asked his foreign policy advisors three times why he couldn't use nuclear weapons.
  21. HuffPo on the Trump trainwreck:
  22. Not quite enough FWWM for my tastes, but still an impressive montage:
  23. Corey Lewandowski keeps making Jeff Zucker proud:
  24. Yes, there's more:
