Interesting reading in the 2007-2009 Archives about The Doctors. French Fan's synopses have information about some characters I've only seen in cast lists. Did everyone know:

Dawn Eddington [Roni Dengel] was Mike Powers' ex girlfriend. Dr. Chaing was her foster father.

Iris Fonteyn[Tanny McDonald] was married to a man named Brendan and dated Rex Everlee[Matthew Tobin].

Kitty Harris[Lynne Rogers] was a reporter.

Ted Kingston[Philip Kraus] was a lawyer.

Dr. McClintock[Gordon Rigsby] cared for Carolee when she had amnesia after Dr. Brandt[Gil Rogers] figured out who she really was.

Cappy Randall[Heywood Hale Broun] was an investigator.

Joe Turner[Robert Coppes] was a chaplain.

As I was reading, one of the synopses said that Dr. Alan Stewart[Gil Gerard]'s wife Margo[Mary Denham] had a mother named Ellie.

Could Ellie be Elinor Crane[Patricia Wheel]? Has anyone heard of the Ellie character?

I was reading some of French Fan's synopses in the Archives 2007-2009 section. There are synopses from 83-84, 74,75,76-77, 79, etc.

I never knew Ralph Mitchell[who later fell in love with Mary Ellison Hughes] was married. Was his wife's name Mary or Sally? I've seen both names in cast lists over the years. I think Mary was a nurse. Anybody knowwhich one?

Next, I read that Dr. Alex Keith[Jon Cypher] had a son named Mark that gave him a hard time. Does anyone know anything about this character? Did he ever appear or was he another just talked about character?

Reading about Miranda Marlowe Hughes, I read about her two lovers other than Bob. One was Antoine Bisset[Jean Leclerc]. The other was Jacques[the Corsican]. Does anyone know who played him or if he was ever seen at all?

Lastly, in1978 there is mention of Pete Larsen who was murdered and Fred McNeil[?McGill}. Jay Stallings was accused of Pete's murder, and Fred was his alibi. Were either of these characters seen or just talked about? I've never seen either name in a cast list anywhere. Thanks for any answers!

Does anyone know how long Paula Denning's maids were around. I know she killed Mrs. Mills and threw her in a chest and dragged her out. How long did her next maid last? Her name was Mrs. Michaels. Does anyone know who played the roles? I can still see her dragging that trunk out in the rain.

Evan Walsh III, Connor's brother, Edwina's son was his father. I wasn't watching at the time.

Philip MacHale is the Tony Lord. The channel[i believe its Robert Sharp] has a cast list beneath each youtube episode The stories are so well plotted at this time.

I actually started listening to those a couple of weeks ago. I'm up to cd 14, which has Joe Riley finding out about his tumor, and Marco romancing Sam Vernon. The Tony-Pat-Paul triangle is prominent , as well as Will-Jenny-Brad-Lana.

Will miss Susanna Thompson who brought such class to the show. RIP Moira Queen.

Michael Gregory's character was Jerry Frazier[74] He must have been the creepy photographer.

Most of the names I listed came from the Twenty-fifth Anniversary book, SOD, and several other old books. I wish there was more out there about the 70s' cast. All of the cast lists I find have the same actors/characters. Thanks for that bit of info.

I didn't start watching Y&R until1983. I have some questions about the early characters of the show whose actor's names I have not been able to find. I have found these character's names in books and magazines over the years, and I was hoping that maybe some other fans might have come across the information I'm looking for. If any of the characters didn't actually appear on the show, I'd like to know that, too.

If anyone out there has questions about cast members in smaller roles, feel free to ask, as I've been keeping cast lists for many years.

Angry Steve always looked constipated when he got angry, his eyes would bug out. Frank Runyeon was an OTT actor. When he was in quiet scenes, though he did a nice job.

Their best scenes were in the abortion storyline.

I found Ellie a lousy character. Maybe it was Props, but I never liked Ellie. She and Seth bored me. Ellie's relationship w/ Kirk was

forced and too incestuous for the family. No one could get out of their sibling's significant others' beds.
